Nonono! Because those simple flips were also such elegant solutions! Simple is good, not basic. Also, these are extra inspiring because they will be so much simpler to replicate with our own thrifted finds. 10/10
I literally gasped when you put that last little wooden bowl upside down on top of the vase- it looked like a giant mushroom, that was definitely my favorite top! 🤗🍄
Yup, I actually made a mental note...find a giant vase and bowl at the thrift! Though I guess by no means does that scream Gwyneth Paltrow so I see why she didn't use it lol.
It doesn’t matter that some of them are “easy”. The way you find stuff and put them together and make something way different than the original item, is what makes it so interesting. 😃👍
I really loved how the clock turned out, but when you had the funeral for the frame with 6 holes in it, I DIED a bit! I was thinking each circle could have been a different aspect of time, like along the top you could have one circle each for Hours, Minutes, and Seconds! And on the bottom, Year, Month, Day! For sure would have been more work though. :/ Love to the whole TSG team! ❤
I could see it turned into a digital clock, where each hole represented an hour and it would display the minutes, shifting to the new hole with each hour. No clue how to execute though!
Nick is just so adorable 😍 I loved the vase for the table pedestal base, but a bigger top to make it like a bistro size table would've been my preference!
🤔 Me too, but Kelsey was limited by what she discovered @ the thrift store to use as a top🤣. It did make an attractive plant stand🪴. Thought it was styled the best. 😉It could still be done. Maybe not a bistro table, but def a side table. Imagine some sort of orange tumbled|natural stones or marbles in the top dish to glam it up a bit & topped w/a glass round (24"-30").🍹Voila...a cute spot for a cocktail. 💚 Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
Those diys were great. I loved the table so much I might be on the look out for vases at the thrift store now. it would've been cool in the switch for the lamp could've fit into the divot at the front to fill the hole but also make the switch access easier. either way it turned out looking great though!!! Looking forward to Rachel's turn!
At first, I was disappointed that the “table” was really more of a pedestal. But Gwyneth already had a lot of tables, and the idea of using it as a plant stand really worked. I’ve seen some comments saying these were too simple. Like simple isn’t a great thing. I know I’m way more likely to try a simple up cycle than something really complex. Well done, you!
I’ve been watching this channel for awhile and I just wanna say I love how your content has evolved and changed over the years. I feel like y’all are pushing the boundaries with your content cause it shows!!
The direction and evolution of this channel is EVERYTHING. Thank you Kelsey & Becky for growing TSG into this incredible team and community. Also I love how you have incorporated a really fun and random DIY (Becky's dart board) into a new game Continue to do what you're doing. We love each of you!
It just shows that if you have great ideas, DIYing can be so simple yet elegant. I was a bit skeptical with the vase and the plate but wow, styling it like that makes it such a statement piece. The color, shape and the height all three are perfect. Even when you placed the glasses and keys and what-nots I can totally see it placed by the front doorways with a mirror and a floating shelf. So impressed with this one, way to go Kelsey!!
I loved this so much!! Love the new direction of this channel, the editing, and Kelsey's little bits that she adds in. Also I think the styling of the vase/table is what threw them off.
I'm laughing because she needed a hole but there were already plenty on the other side... I would have probably used the offset large hole in the other side, then reinforced it and covered the other holes with the veneer. Could have added even more personality on top of the veneer and chopped the hands short to make it a table-top clock.
I saw other comments saying to add that paper and lights on the inside to match all his lamps! Or instead of paper, leaving the holes open as a feature and adding color LEDs inside or painting the inside the same colors as the clock face!
Firstly, Kelsey's picks are literally my three favorite AD tours ever. Their styles are so unique and elegant and I love it so much. Kelsey did great on choosing the materials. I love love love the lighting idea. However, I would have loved it more if the original wood tone of the 'clock' was not covered, that would have been superb. The vase as a pedestal table was really brilliant, but I guess I'd prefer it with a bigger top. Can't wait for Rachael's take. ♥️
Thoroughly enjoyed that! So the big question for me, is which of the pieces would I want for myself? All three! With one adjustment, because I'm such a boring person, I'd switch out the tri-colored clock hands for brass or copper. Brava!
Can you guys do a game show of DIYs?! Include the roulette wheel while the two teams battle it out under timed conditions? Could have ‘expert’ and ‘beginner/non diyer’ to include everyone at the office if they’re not super experienced!!
Yesssssss, I loved Becky’s episode of diy roulette and I’m so excited for yours, Kelsey!!! It’s just so fun and spontaneous and it just really shows off y’all’s DIY chops 🥰
I just wanted to take a moment and say I see you Sorry Girls, I see you elevating the story telling, editing, just the whole thing. I noticed the last few videos and meant to say something but forgot. Sorry. But I remembered, looking good and loving seeing this more creative side of everyone on the team
How did it took so long to find your channel? I’m obsessed! Whenever I have free time I watch your videos while crocheting! Your content is so good, keep up the good work always ❤ In love with this channel!
Love the lamp!!! I think if the vase had a large stone looking top, or had the base painted to look like stone with a glass top I'd love it more ... but great work
Kelsey I believe that wooden item with the strange holes is a bar tool holder. Where you put your bar shaker, jigger and stirrers and such items on your bar.
Idk if anyone else responded to what that wooden "thing" is from the clock DIY, but it's the base for a cocktail set! Like when you purchase a cocktail shaker, jiggers, mixing spoon, etc., it comes with this base to hold everything together!
That wooden thing in the first project is for bar accessories. The big hole is for the shaker and the smaller ones for other items. Would be part of a whole kit if bought new, but obviously that was just the stand.
The One, for Alicia Keys should've been painted 🥇 Gold or Brass to Look Like An Emmy Award ; Which I Think Alicia Would Really Love ❤️ it...the clock ideas were Great, Also... Great Videos, Haven't yet Looked at #3 , YET ..So Far ; so Good .. New Team Game, ideas ; are Really Fun and Also Eye Catching !! Tables are Always Cute 🥰 If They Lean Toward the Modern Astetics twice as Kool Also 💕💕💕🥰 !!!
For the clock i dont know why but the idea i had was to to get a small clock and put it in the biggest circle on the end and put like a light cream colored sheet in each of the other holes and put a warm toned light in it so it acts like a nice bedside light and clock.
What was your clock originally? The housing for the clock you made/up cycled had an interesting original use. It was used to store/display the bits you use to make mix drinks in a bar. It holds your shaker, strainer, mixing sticks, etc. It’s cool to see you made it into a clock!
These were too simple. I wish she would have done more work on each DIY, I’d have to say Becky did the best at this challenge. But I love y’all both. And would just LOVE LOVE LOVE to see more Upgrade My Stay episodes.
Kels, that is not a table lol u could've done marble vinyl on that round cutting board... In fact I think Gwen's bar table is marble vinyl on mdf if I'm not mistaken 😍
I liked your approach for these items! It was more about finding the right items and working with then than about DIYing! I loved the vase and the lamp! W
6:04 it's a cocktail shaker stand. shaker goes in big part and the spoons and measure glasses and stirrers and accessories go in the small ones
ohhhhH!!!!!
Came here to say this! Perfectttt
Right there with you lol
I have the same one!!
That’s funny given the shot glass tray they made last time.
Lol! When you feel comfortable having a memorial on the floor of the thrift store you know it really it’s your second home.
Nonono! Because those simple flips were also such elegant solutions! Simple is good, not basic. Also, these are extra inspiring because they will be so much simpler to replicate with our own thrifted finds. 10/10
Kelsey did such a good job, I could definitely see all those upcycles in their respective celeb homes 👏
I literally gasped when you put that last little wooden bowl upside down on top of the vase- it looked like a giant mushroom, that was definitely my favorite top! 🤗🍄
Yes!!! I was so sad when she changed it!
Oh man... that plays right into my home comfort fantasy
It gave me acorn vibes :)
YES!!! I was so sad she didn't choose it.
Yup, I actually made a mental note...find a giant vase and bowl at the thrift! Though I guess by no means does that scream Gwyneth Paltrow so I see why she didn't use it lol.
Am I the only one who finds the vase buckled up in the backseat hilarious. And the fact that Kelsey talks to it like a child? 😂
same! Like when she buckled up her plants in another recent video XD Kelsey will bond with anything and I love it because same
Why is nick so precious!?! Love seeing other members of the sorry girls team and love diy roulette such a fun video!!

I’m surprised they they did not match the lamp to Alicia Keys 100% because it’s shaped like a Grammy & Alicia has a bunch of Grammys 😚

Super stoked about this series! 😍😍😍 But... Why is Baljit's smile so cute? 😊 She really looks like the nicest person!
Those dimples! She’s gorgeous!
I wish you would’ve showed how to rewire that switch for the lamp, we have something in the kitchen that can’t fit through a while with that switch!

I was wondering why kelesy didnt just add a big wood circle to the vase Im pretty sure becky used materials from the office when she did it
I was thinking the same... maybe even painting a stone look on the wood top to amp up the DIY factor. The amber plate was kind of a cop out 🤷♀️

omg Kelsey crushed it! I love the simplicity of all three pieces. So good
its insane how everything in this video fits perfectly! the lamp part should be included in the top satisfying video!
The wood thing holds utensils for making drinks. Like a shaker, a stirrer, a shot measuring cup, etc
Simple but they all look good! I want that plant stand!
I really enjoy this series. will you design subscribers places again? I need help with a huge fireplace/mantel!
I was wondering the same the other day. I need help with a multi-purpose space real bad.
The table/plant stand is my favorite. It would never have occurred to me to put a pie plate on top! But it is genius and utterly elegant.
I love this content type. The first I have seen on RUclips. It taps into your creativity and I love being creative
Love the lamp!!! I think if the vase had a large stone looking top, or had the base painted to look like stone with a glass top I'd love it more ... but great work
That clock was crying for a LED inside it! ;)
such a good idea!
Omg the holder is for a cocktail set! I had a roommate that had something similar. It holds the cup, measuring shot glasses, spoon etc.
I love the DIY with the Victrola thing because we all have so many old accessories for phones that are no longer compatible with more recent models!
This series is fantastic! I would watch again and again. Oooo maybe you could have guest stars come and DIY or judge!

I love what a perfect fit the lamp was! like it was made for what you did with it!
Kelsey is very creative, the clock and the light!! Amazing
Where is your top from? It's GORGEOUS!!!
When gluing veneer, you need a solid layer of glue. Can’t just squeeze around some squiggly lines. It wont last at ALL
It's a bar tool holder for your shot glass, jigger, shaker, strainer, etc. I have one on my bar cart.
😂😂 Rachel's face at the end haha you got this Rachel!!
If you can do this with celebrities you could give these too or RUclipsrs. I’d love to see what the people think of the items made
That wood base at 6:00 looks like a mixer set base. I have one in black for my dry bar and the holes look really similar.
I love the energy and editing of this video ❤️
That wooden thingy looks like a bar stand for a jigger, muddle, spoon, shaker etc etc
When Kelsey said, "Are you good??" to the glass. 😂
