Super random hotel story. I got tar on my heel wearing sandles through construction. I took a bath and the water heated the tar enough to get in on the tub. Nothing was working to get it off. Then I remembered that tar is oil based and my babies A&D ointment was petroleum based. It came right up! Thanks for this video! Going to keep shaving cream around.
The hack worked really well on the yellow sweat/BO stains on white shirts and pillowcases! Didn't remove them 100%, but it did a better job at lifting the yellowing than peroxide or bleach. Whatever staining was left blends in with the fabric, if that makes any sense. The only downside is that now they have a strong shaving cream smell, even after washing (I use unscented laundry detergent).
Absolutely shocked with the wine stain! I'd be curious to test this on a white shirt. The last wedding I attended a waiter spilled a tray of red wine on my husband. Could have totally used this tip.
What about the propensity to be a dirt magnet? Soap residue will attract more dirt. That is why it is so important to thoroughly clean out soap on any surface or it gets dirty faster. Vinegar is a great way to strip out that last bit of suds in anything that might attract dirt--like carpet or upholstery. Thanks for your work. You saved my sanity during 2020.
When I was a kindergarten teacher, I’d let my students “fingerpaint” with shaving cream on their desks. It helped clean the desks at the end of the day. I think there is soap in it.
I tried it on a stain on my kitchen vinyl The rug stained the vinyl yellow. I'd be interested in knowing how to get that off I've tried everything including the shaving cream and did not work So I have two spots where I had rugs, mats you know to stand on when you're cooking and that's not food underneath there It's just the mad itself discolored my whitish vinyl. I can't afford to replace it so there you go I know where to put the rugs now there's always an outline
I would like to know what to clean a fiberglass type whirlpool tub with that will make it shine. Mine has become dull and really had to get clean on the bottom, any help?
I work in Extended Care , shaving cream is great for removing the smell from stinky pits and removing poop from skin .

I use the body shop cleansing balm to clean foundation of my carpet. It also cleaned sharpie out!

We use shaving cream for our students to clean desktops at school. It's also like fingerpaint, so they love rubbing it around on their desks!
Yessssss first episode! Love the intro animation it's cute.
Love this! It’s insane and doesn’t make any sense. So glad you made a channel!
Right?! Where did the wine go? lol
I had no idea. Thanks! Love this.

Sarah, what nail polish color are you wearing in this video? It’s so pretty! I’m so happy you started a you tube channel!! ❤

I was that teenager doing my make up on the floor and I definitely spilled my foundation 😬 Wish I knew about this in 2012 🤷🏻♀️
I have an orange soda stain on a beige carpet. Im definitely going to try shaving cream! I've tried numerous products and nothing has worked
Try it and please report back if it works. I would love to know.
Unfortunately, it didn't work 😢
So great!
I used a can from dollar store and it also worked. 😊
Dammit, my local store out of cheap shaving cream!

Would the warm water alone have done what the shaving cream did?
Interesting.
I wonder if it would work with a truly set stain though.
Does it matter what brand of shaving cream?
