Embiid's having an MVP caliber season every season until you get to the playoffs where you're now paying 50 million to a guy who has the same statline as Tobias Harris in elimination games.

@@Grayman98 what matters is winning Im sure philadelphia wished they had the heat's season instead of embiid's season. Embiid having the biggest playoff dropoff is insane considering all the notorious chokers in the NBA. Embiid definetly has a limitless ceiling given his ability but for now his playoff performance was atrocious the team basically gave up despite being up 3-2 on the celtics.
Steph last playoffs broke the record for most points in a game 7 in the NBA while embiid averaged Tobias Harris statline with terrible efficiency. It's absurd to compare steph's value to embiid's value despite the fact that embiid has amazing statlines in the regular season. Plus steph isnt too far behind averaging 30pts on insane efficiency similar to embiid with the only difference being playoff performance.
I think Curry has to be A because of his contract. I think carrying the Warriors all season is taking its toll on Steph. He seems exhausted the past couple of weeks and that shows with how inconsistent he has been by his standards. If you replaced Steph with SGA I agree. Obviously this is very subjective though.

I hate to hate online, but the tier list is far from real this season. You have seem to have gone just by ranking the most expencive players regardless of what they make (which is still fine but you could have added much more dynamics with also taking into consideration how much is it; what it enables/disables in a team etc.) . For example Steph on 51mil being 2 tiers above Brunson who is both amazing this season and 26mil is ridiculous. Anyways, even if you just ranked the players you've put SGA at A tier and he is arguably third best player in the league right now? Brunson bellow all the players in A is also wild. Ja has played like 14 minutes this season and in A. Sorry but had to do it.

I am a big fan but I am led to believe that you don't know/watch basketball. Why is Shai not in S tier? He is right up there with all those other really good players. Shai is in fact one of the best players in S tier. Why is a MVP caliber player in A tier with players like Jimmy Butler? The disrespect is unbelievable. I understand that you had originally had Shai in S tier but when you were "evenly distributing" the players, you decided to move Shai down. Who in their right mind would do so when Shai is probably one of the best players in S tier? So my question is, do you actually watch basketball, or are you just a fraud?
Edit: I would move Curry down because if we are looking at this season only, then he hasn't really been too good.

it's more so about whether or not he plays up to the standard of other highest-paid players on other teams, not his specific skillset. respectfully, FVV does not play at the level his contract would indicate. he's just Trae Young without the elite passing-- undersized guard with medicore defense that needs throws up a lot of shots to score. there might be an argument for him being in C tier but he's definitely not any higher than that as a number 1, highest paid option
