He went from a top 5 (arguably top 3) defensive midfielder in the world during the 21/22 season to playing like a 40 year old at a charity match in the span of a few months Its not like he suffered a serious injury during his time at Liverpool, he was one of our most reliable players. His legs just completely gave up. He's still only 30 years old which is the really crazy thing about his decline.
