- Bangtao Beach is one of my absolute favorite places here....
I love this beach I love the bars that dot the shoreline I do think that the resort beach clubs are crazy expensive and I avoid them at all costs to be honest with you however again as I mentioned in the video if you're buying drinks you can get the lounge chairs on the beach for free....
and as you guys do know my dream beach bar is right here on Bangtao......

So very true!! Bangtao is such a special place. Love the other beaches but Bangtao has that more chill laid back peaceful vibe when you think of tropical paradises. Thanks for making the vid 🙂

Great video mate. It looks over developed in comparison to my first visit many, many, many years ago. At that time, there was one hotel on the beach ( Royal Orchid i think). The road down to it off the main road from Patong, had nothing on it all except Buffalo/ cattle and the like. Oh, I seem to remember a Lobster farm too.😂😂
Crazy how fast shit changes here.....
I leave come back and I hardly recognize the place.....

Anyone going next month in may ? we love it been like it is now but we do go all over phuket on scooters ;-) but realy like chilling at these sort of bars.

Bang tao is so relaxing, also a big plus for us is that some of the hotels have direct access to the beach, the horels in patong/kata/karon seem to all be accross the street from the beaches from my experience. I would recommend to anyone staying in phuket at least a week to stay a couple nights up in bang tao-its calm and a dif vibe and youll get to experience a lot more of the island

Loved the walk Mark thank you 😀. The beach was gorgeous. I also loved the first restaurant made from driftwood and natural material and liked the simplicity of some of the bars that you liked. I love Thailand too BUT in my limited experience of travelling there I thought they could over exploit beautiful areas. Those beach ‘resorts’ were b*llshit, and some of the sunbeds were pretty close together midway through the walk. I'm not sure I'd like the beech so much if it was busy.

Fantastic blog of Bang Tao 🏖️ Mark. It seems a little manufactured catered for the rich and famous although I wouldn't decline staying of course. I hear there is a lot of development/construction going on further in...Could be the next koi samui😢

I believe Thailand will be in a for a rude awakening with some.of it's tourist pricing. Simply put, Cambodia and Vietnam tourism is finally becoming developed and competitive. Go where your appreciated friends.
