Being in Patong and not enjoying seafood is something I'll never understand. I love it! One of my favorites is the barbecued squid. Also love raw oysters and crab. You can't ever take the Chesapeake Bay out of the boy!
It's so funny I grew up in The Maritimes the seafood capital of the world.....

Thank you Mark. Yes baked potatoes. And I see some nice sweets. I am the same as you shrimps, crabs, mussels not my thing. I nice piece of fresh filleted fish now and again otherwise I like chicken. One question maybe you can answer. Do expats in general drink more in Thailand that at home? The beers are cheap so I would think a lot of expats would drink a lot because if they spend the same amount on booze in Thailand as their home Country they get much more.

I think they drink more here generally out of boredom....
If you're drinking in a bar, for the most part the beer isn't that cheap unless you're off the strip or in a small bar....
But I would say that yes for the most part they do drink more here ..
I know it can be a problem for many ......
