Jayden is one of those guys you want to see progress over the years and get inducted to the HOF. He shows high levels of intelligence and physicality. Way better than any QB we’ve seen in the past
He is going to snap like a twig. Washington is on starting QB no 37 since 2000. He got sacked 5 times last game and almost got his ribs snapped in half running like a mad man all over. Tick tock

I love how this new regime in front office is taking her time with Jaden there's gonna be some bumps along the road, he's going to miss passes or open receivers but the one thing we need to be looking and focusing on is the week to week, month to month progression for my young hopeful franchise quarterback.
He's improving on every series ..not just every game. Get 3 plus sacks on burrow, let Mr. Robinson tear up the neighborhood for 100 plus and Seibert kicks like sunday..we win Monday night..three " ifs" but a lot of games are won/lost on "ifs" and " if onlys".
jd is so good he hasnt thrown for a TD yet maybe week 3.

Excellent breakdown sir!!! I get goosebumps just watching this kid. If he stays healthy, he is going to be a beast!!! Also think he is stronger than he looks!! Good game1...good game 2 (game winning drive in his 2nd start btw) If he keeps progressing the sky is the limit. Add a big physical receiver and or get Ben Sinnott and Ertz rolling...it could be fun to watch these guys.
That 1st quarter tunnel screen to Dyami at 8:20 vs the Giants was absolutely next level play design and execution by CK and the Commanders.
What JD is doing is getting better every week.

When I first watched this game, I thought the offense didn't look all that great, but after watching this detailed
breakdown of each play they actually looked better than I thought. But the fact that they didn't get into the
endzone not once the whole game is concerning.
How many false starts within 5 yards of the end zone? I get your point, but JD can't control that. It definitely was bittersweet watching all the field goal kicks but the line has to hold blame for the lack of TDs. Imo.
I think Jayden missed a lot of huge opportunities especially the one to Mcaffery where he was wide open downfield. All Daniels needs to. Do is keep his eyes up as he rolls out of the pocket.
Get this man another good WR to go with Terry and watch what he does. Washington fans , we FINALLY have a QB for years to come. Time to get excited.

Ironically my biggest problem with Jayden Daniels right now is that his completion percentage is too high. To me that says that either the team isn't comfortable fully opening up the playbook yet or that he doesn't feel confident going for stuff down the field or the O Line is still too soft to give time for longer developing concepts where he has to read 1-2-3 instead of 1-2. He will get there for sure, but they need to start giving him more of that so that he can develop it as the season progresses.
I was at this game. If the OL gave him better protection in the red zone, he would have thrown 3 TDs. Noah Brown was wide open but the pocket crumpled like a napkin.
@@ethanblank8911 Yeah, that is sort of my thinking too. They want to do more stuff with him, but they are running all of those bubble screens because the O-Line isn't ready to consistently give 3 seconds.
@@peterranney9488 Cosmi is a solid piece at tackle, and Coleman can develop, but the focus of the next few years needs to be building an O-line unit. JD and the Hogs 2.0 would be terrifying for defenses.
@@ethanblank8911the offensive line protection was fine. Daniels is slow going through his progressions and tentative to push the ball downfield. The coaching staff clearly doesn’t trust him enough as a passer to open up the offense either
@@ccm5152 The offensive line protection was not “fine”. Consistent mistakes in the red zone were the fault of the OL mainly, not Daniels. Numerous false starts, missed assignments, failing when it mattered the most. That’s on the OL, not Daniels.
Interesting because on that play where he hit bates in the flat Pringle was wide open with a end zone call and he could’ve made that pass

it looked like the left tackle was downfield by the time the pass was made at the four minute mark. Thank goodness the ref didn't flag it (if you're a redskins fan, of course)
this was a great breakdown -- i am going to try to get my wife and girls to watch it so they can try to understand the thought process of the QB.

Man I feel like The way the defenses play Jayden all he needs to do is incorporate the pump fake for a big play or two

the problem with washington getting wins really isnt the O...it is the D...their CB room is BAD worst in the league type of bad...Chin is playing horribly as well @ S. They also have no real pressure at DE...unless they figure something out they are going to get boat raced by every good team...they can beat the giants of the NFL but they will struggle with any decent team.
the play at 4:32 Jayden Daniel totally missed Dyami Brown for that touch down pass with no one in front of him smh Daniels needs to be better in the redzone because they are so inefficient down there, he needs to take more shots down the field like he did at LSU, and the Commanders RPO/Play action is trash.

We all want to see that. It's been two games. Give him a minute! Whether it's Kliff bringing him along slowly or Jayden just getting the speed of the game and not wanting to turn the ball over, just breathe. The kid obviously has it. I think he is going to be quite good. By the end of this season, I bet you won't even remember when he didn't do those things...
