Good point. It is ok to say, for me I am not as stoked over this kind of QB style of play. It is a question of taste, but I value this and this more in this or that QB, because that is more my style of QB. Because it just comes off as almost a diss of him as Lamar at a point like this (compared to others).

The jets defense has been porous so far and Rodgers has started his season with the least time of possession hes ever had in his entire career. Its hard to throw for 300+ when you only running 60% of the offensive plays thats you would usually get. Rodgers can only play at an MVP level if everyone else is doing their jobs as well. Cant fumble, have to catch the ball, and the defense has to start getting takeaways and give AR some short field situations.

He doesn't need a monster performanc. I have no issues establishing run with hall and Allen and allowing the pass game to work from there. Our defense is great. I trust them. Control ball and turnover battle and the jets might never lose. Its not a fancy way to play but for the jets I think thats how we have to do it!

He was avg relative to his incredibly high standard set by himself. in 2022, he threw 26 TDs which was 7th in the NFL with 12 INTs, and he was 11th in yards, his QBR for the season was 91. In 2023, Pat Mahomes had 27 TDs(8th in the NFL), 14 ints and a qbr of 92.... so was he BAD?

Rodgers has only thrown for 300+ in 33% of his career games, and his record in those games is 53-24. A 300 yard passing game isnt a guarantee to win the game. Passing volume has never been a huge part of his game. His career avg yards per game is only 254, and hes only ever had 1 season where he avgd over 300/game for the entire season. What makes Rodgers special is efficiency. He doesnt turn the ball over, and he throws a TD 4.5x as often as he throws an INT. The teams that play keep away the best tend to win alot of games.
