Agreed and I think we all saw that this past week. The cardinals were completely shocked he was doubled all game in Buffalo which is wild considering he’s their only receiver. They finally adjusted and he played well.
Being nervous and over thinking could explain why he wasnt as fast because, with no injury, it makes absoutely no sense for him to be so fast in college and not as fast now. If anything, he's a year older and he should be getting stronger and faster.
He did not run good routes on Sunday, flat out. He wasn't manipulating DBs at all, and on several occasions he actually ran into coverage more than separating into open space. Other rookies like BTJ, Nabers, Ladd, even guys like Polk who only caught 1 pass showed far more promise and sophistication as route runners. Let's see him bounce back and look like a pro WR because his game last Sunday was dreadful by comparison to others and by his own draft status.
@iamcedricpowell8051 that's what happens when you don't get spring training and summer OTAs. He can win 7 games for me at least the defense can do the rest and get me 3 wins 🏆.
At the end with the Eagles, Andy Reid forgot that Shady McCoy and the running game existed but was great setting up DeSean Jackson. Xavier worthy should benefit greatly from working with Andy Reid's staff..
That game Marv was wide open on several plays and Kyler never looked his way. Kyler does not read his progressions well and looks too me he predetermined where he was going to throw it alot and almost always under pressure. If Marv had a better QB he would have a 100+ yard game already no doubt
did you listen to Domonique? and did you watch the whole game? he was going through his progressions.. and it became hard after the right tackle got injured and he had no time to throw.. got sacked multiple times by Bills..

The bills also just shut out Tyreek and Waddle basically. When you only have 1 main guy to focus on like Marv, things could be rough for him

He was mainly running intermediate to deep routes and the bills defensive pressure didnt even give murray a chance to wait for him to come open
