Maybe football fans and media will stop hyping up all these QB prospects as if they're godly franchise saviors. 99% of them ain't it.

It’s because nobody has patience anymore. Everyone is chasing that breakout star on a rookie contract.

What in the world are they talking about? Commanders have only punted 3 times in two games & the fan base is happy with Jayden. Especially when the commanders offense in the past could barely move the football.
Commander fans aren’t happy with the defense. They are very happy with Jayden & the offense. They have been moving the football consistently.

Mike Renner is way off on the Commanders fanbase. They are excited about how Jayden Daniels has looked. By a lot of stats, Washington is 4th or 5th in offensive efficiency. Daniels is averaging 7.7 yards per attempt and 70 yards per game on the ground. Kliff has kept the training wheels on Jayden Daniels to some extent and by NFL starting QB standards, Daniels has probably been mid pack despite the nice stats, but the fanbase is very happy with Daniels. Training camp was almost uniform positivity and that has continued through 2 weeks. Commanders have had 15 possessions and have got in to scoring position 12 out of 15 times with 3 TD's and going 7 for 9 on fg attempts.

I swear people just stay negative even though he has looked rlly good cause of the stigma of “Washington”

@@MajorTuddy Seriously. I know they have PFF ties to Renner, but if this is going to be his analysis--where he is dead wrong at reading a fan base, cannot they stick to guests like Bladino and Jay Gruden, who are interesting.

For worth the offensive efficiency stat that I was thinking of when I said we were 4 or 5th was EPA where we are fifth. But there are other stats like first down rate we are in the top 5. Given most analyst thought our O-Line ranked in the mid 20's and receivers maybe in the low 20's especially after Dotson was traded, having that offensive efficiency is super exciting.

FYI, the Washington fanbase is REALLY HAPPY that Daniels is starting.

This guy is a hack, JD5 is the FIRST QB IN HISTORY to have 100yrds rushing, complete 75% of his passes, and not throw a interception in a 2 game span. (Not rookie, QB period.) Hes not lighting it up but to imply hes struggling is asinine and misinformed. Washington has scored or attempted a field goal under 50 yrds in 12 of 15 full drives in 2 games. Get him off the air and get some new guests. Love the show tho lol (just not this segment) 😂

As a Bears fan Im not worried about Caleb, hes already a better passer than Fields when hes not getting immediately destroyed. He looked solid in the 1st half of the Texans game before they realized they could just blitz and he would die back there. Fields would have 100% found a way to lose that Titans game in the 4th quarter as well
I am very much worried about the environment hes in with a trash o-line and no run game, he should not be expected to carry the entire offense this soon like hes been forced to do so far. However, playing the Colts, the corpse of the Rams, and the Panthers should make things much easier. If he still looks like this after week 5 against much weaker defenses Ill be concerned
