People are overblowing this Dolphins demise. Tua was playing like pure horseshit last game, literally couldn’t complete a pass past 10 yards and Achane still had a huge game. We’ve seen plenty examples of hyper talented RBs producing on bad offenses, just look at Breece last year (who people were also calling a sell at this point in the season FWIW). As long as whoever is back there can throw an accurate crosser or screen the Dolphins will still be a threat. Achane is going to be fine. I don’t know how you see Achane catch 7 balls behind the LOS 2 games in a row and think he’s QB/offense dependant, it’s not like he’s running super complex routes 20+ yards downfield.
Achane: the usage is solid and the targets will increase with a sub-par qb. It does cap his ceiling not having a dynamic offense means it’s less likely he gets an explosion game like last year. But point difference will be negligible. (Instead of 28pts he gets 22pts) And in 5 weeks Tua is expected back. Hold Hold Hold. Do not let someone scare you into selling achane.

So far we have ridiculous hold out, then 2 bad games. He needs to show up this week. And not just as a decoy.

Not selling Achane unless you receive J. Gibbs in return. The magic about pass catching RBs is that they remain in the field even 2-3 TDs down. Plus, any scared training camp qb would dump a lot of quick passes for him. I will admit the TD upside is going down.

Not sure why more people don’t understand this. If they’re behind it won’t be Dobbins losing his touches, it’ll be Gus. His whole purpose is to drain the clock. Dobbins actually has the potential to break off big runs so they’re still going to use him. Steelers have played the Falcons (Bijan had a decent game) and the Broncos who are putrid. The Chargers have a top 5 O-line and are a dedicated run team, Dobbins will have a fine game regardless of gamescript. They’ll play to control the clock, it won’t be Herbert abandoning their identity and dropping back 50 times to force it to Josh Palmer and Quentin Johnston

Tua could be back in 4 weeks, I am not at all interested in offloading Achane. The whole bet here is if he gets injured, not if he can produce, he's already proved he can. I'm actually fine with Mostert taking some of his workload. It reduces his injury risk, and he's already shown how efficient he can be without having a massive workload.

Achane is my only good week to week starter at RB but if i did this trade then my 2 WRs and Flex spot would be CeeDee, Chase, and MHJ. my line of thinking is that with WRs that good i can more than survive bad play at RB. but the reality of what my RB depth would be is scary for sure and that is my only hang up.
@@jacksonhardison3838 Yeah man thats a tough call, I think that would be an insane lineup of WR's to play each week but it just comes down to if you think the production you'll get from them will be enough to offset losing Achane and using your current RB depth. I can't really give advice there, it could go either way. Go with your gut.
I would not sell Achane. In week 1 with Mostert healthy they specifically left Achane in to punch in a TD at the goal line. There’s a chance that he was dealing with something even before he was sat for week 2 but I’m not selling Achane out of fear. This is one of the few backs in the NFL that can bust a 60 yard TD and imo you can’t sell that potential away based on fear of injury or fear of less opportunities
So, what do I do with Dobbins? I have Josh Jacobs, Zack Moss, Singletary and Pacheco on IR. AND the top five on the free agents are Perine, Steele, Elliot, Hubbard and Warren.

In regards to Dobbins you can say he doesn't have the opportunity to have continued success. If the first 2 weeks represent his ceiling, then what are you give me that potential rest of season. The Chargers have a strong Oline and they dominated(like they should have) in the first two weeks. Robbins has shown to be the best RB on the roster and you can't predict injuries. Who would you rather have, K Williams(2nd round ADP)? KW is on an offense that lost their top two WR for extended time. I would ride Dobbins out and not trade him unless you have a spot you need help. Your playing with house money based on where you drafted him.
I really think achane is fine. Backups qbs are always check down merchants and im have complete faith that McDaniel could find some creative ways to get him the ball in space.
Got achane in round 4. Chase, puka, Allen, achane. Jk dobbins hit, nabers and just traded pollard and Williams for Garret Wilson in a 3WR ppr league. Not gonna like I’m not hot on Wilson but was trying to package pollard and Ridley or Williams to a top guy.

I don’t mind the selling high here for Achane. Think of it this way.. there’s potential right now to get a 2 for 1 for him. If you’re lacking in a certain position you could get some great value band even some depth. With the amount of usage Achane is about to receive, his injury probability just went up as well.

I traded DK Dobbins for CeeDee Lamb so DK can for sure get a top tier WR in a trade. I looked for teams with a great WR group and bad RB’s. I dropped my kicker and picked up Derek Carr off waivers and packaged him with Dobbins for the trade. Having Purdy I’d have liked to keep him but only 2 bench spots in my league and have Puka Nacua and AJ Brown out so keeping 2 qb’s was not possible. My thought was DK can’t keep up the 9.9 yard average and if he has a bad game and this week 5 bye, he will not have more value than now.

Achane is my only good week to week starter at RB but if i did this trade then my 2 WRs and Flex spot would be CeeDee, Chase, and MHJ. my line of thinking is that with WRs that good i can more than survive bad play at RB. but the reality of what my RB depth would be is scary for sure and that is my only hang up.
@@jacksonhardison3838 Yeah man thats a tough call, I think that would be an insane lineup of WR's to play each week but it just comes down to if you think the production you'll get from them will be enough to offset losing Achane and using your current RB depth. I can't really give advice there, it could go either way. Go with your gut.
I would not sell Achane. In week 1 with Mostert healthy they specifically left Achane in to punch in a TD at the goal line. There’s a chance that he was dealing with something even before he was sat for week 2 but I’m not selling Achane out of fear. This is one of the few backs in the NFL that can bust a 60 yard TD and imo you can’t sell that potential away based on fear of injury or fear of less opportunities

In regards to Dobbins you can say he doesn't have the opportunity to have continued success. If the first 2 weeks represent his ceiling, then what are you give me that potential rest of season. The Chargers have a strong Oline and they dominated(like they should have) in the first two weeks. Robbins has shown to be the best RB on the roster and you can't predict injuries. Who would you rather have, K Williams(2nd round ADP)? KW is on an offense that lost their top two WR for extended time. I would ride Dobbins out and not trade him unless you have a spot you need help. Your playing with house money based on where you drafted him.

I really think achane is fine. Backups qbs are always check down merchants and im have complete faith that McDaniel could find some creative ways to get him the ball in space.

I don’t mind the selling high here for Achane. Think of it this way.. there’s potential right now to get a 2 for 1 for him. If you’re lacking in a certain position you could get some great value band even some depth. With the amount of usage Achane is about to receive, his injury probability just went up as well.

I traded DK Dobbins for CeeDee Lamb so DK can for sure get a top tier WR in a trade. I looked for teams with a great WR group and bad RB’s. I dropped my kicker and picked up Derek Carr off waivers and packaged him with Dobbins for the trade. Having Purdy I’d have liked to keep him but only 2 bench spots in my league and have Puka Nacua and AJ Brown out so keeping 2 qb’s was not possible. My thought was DK can’t keep up the 9.9 yard average and if he has a bad game and this week 5 bye, he will not have more value than now.
