I agree your statements on the Solanke vs Son captaincy when it comes to minutes. Thing is, if you look further into the games, and especially the way the opponents of Spurs have been playing then you can see that Solanke gets a high XGi againts opponents how defend in a low block with the team (Brentford, Manu, Villa). Against opponents how play a more attacking style (Brighton, Palace) he doesn't get involved into the attacking part of the game because he has to fall back too far to and is (I think you have told this also) too slow to be back in time into the box. The only exception is the Westham game, but in that game the whole Spurs team played around the box. If I look at the way Ipswich play, they are a more attacking team, so I would expect a low XGi game for Solanke again where he will have to fall in deep. So even with the high possibility Son will play less minutes I still favor him over Solanke.

My two main considerations are: Cuhna + Van den Berg OR Strand Larsen and Dalot My other defenders are Mykolenko Gabriel Greaves and Ait Nouri so Van den Berg may leave me a bit short at the back in the long run (would have to start him this week too). However I also really like Cuhna as an option and think he could outscore strand Larsen heavily. What r ur opinions and any other suggestions for transfers this week that could make a better combo? I have done DCL out as well yet as I already have Cunha and don't want a double of Strand Larsen, Ive gone for a property differential in Evanilson. I like taking a punt on a player hence that's why I have gone there aswell.

United fan here, i think Amorim will go safe and continue playing 4-2-3-1 till the end of the season. Then he will train the team for 3-4-3 in pre season friendlies. Again just an opinion, no idea whats gonna happen.

I swear it's not hindsight but wanting to sell solanke 1 game before Ipswich is mental, i can't abide by that. even if he blanked against aston villa (OR IPSWICH for that matter) and not register a single shot, I'll be here saying the same thing: it was right to wait it out until the Ipswich game. If you have solanke after gw 5 or 6 onwards, you would have considered that Ipswich game to begin with. that's just bonkers. not wanting to keep solanke that 1 extra game so that he, a top striker, can have that 1 best fixture the entire season against the leakiest team in the league, i can''t understand that decision.
