I've seen a lot of concerts in my 57 years and even set up stages for a lot of bands but seeing Shinedown the other night in Simpsonville SC was the best show I've ever been to. Looking forward to seeing them again
Yeah and I don't normally listen to this style of music and I thought it was a very good show.
This was the concert I was at.
we're roughly the same age bracket. Just a decade ahead of me and I've been in and around the industry since mid-80's. I've been to more shows than I can remember and about 10 years ago I wasn't really that big a fan of Shinedown. Until I saw them in St. Louis. The tightest show, hands down, that I've ever been to. I need to go see them again very soon.

@@joeg6242 I'm a `little younger (42) but I started my rock and roll/metal adventure young, and I still use a lighter... For me the phone just isn't the same, I'm sure someone from our generation('s) certainly had the ingenuity to think of perhaps bringing a small flashlight to a show and it would have caught on if it felt right to people. But it didn't, and it doesn't now I don't think....but thats just my humble opinion...I'm still hung up on everyone carrying a phone 24/7 in general. I remember going and knocking on a door when I needed to talk to someone because 1 phone in a household of 5 meant no long term phone use in case an important call came in....(Ma didn't trust call waiting at first when it came out...lol) is there a lighter app we can try? LOL....And please, correct me if I took what you were asking Fritz Colburn the wrong way, just figured I'd throw my 2 cents in for free.

I wasn't at this particular show, I saw them a month or so before this, and Shinedown is one of the most fantastic live bands I've ever seen. I've seen them about 6 years ago too, and they we great then too and they were just as good if not better on this tour than they were then. I'm not the worlds biggest fan or anything, but I do like some of their stuff, and they are an incredible live band, mostly because Brent Smith is one of the greatest hard rock vocalists to ever live.
djjazzyjeff123 I will see shinedown for the first time at rbc echo beach in Toronto, which is entirely Standing Only with a couple of elevated platforms on July 9. I honestly don’t even know the last time shinedown headlined a show in Toronto. Got my ticket as part of live nation’s $20 ALL IN promotion last Wednesday (saved myself almost $60)

I have to admit i am having a hard time calming myself down after watching their performance. I am so hyped after just watching their first song that they sang. I would definitely enjoy watching them live. I hope that i get that opportunity sometime in my life. Shinedown is an awesome band!!!!!

One of the absolute best bands I've ever seen live. They weren't even headlining at the show i saw, and they were by far the best.
Still reliving this amazing show. Saw Shinedown again at the MMRBQ in May (same venue as this concert) & they do not ever disappoint. Their presence. Their energy. It's positively electric!! Til next time.

I've seen many concerts, I would have to say without a doubt Shinedown is up there with the best show I've ever seen.
Saw them 3 days ago in New Hampshire--I don't know how I will ever be able to wait to see them again!!!! The BEST experience!! THese guys are awesome people too. WOW.
First time I saw them was in Providence RI. About 2004. Was a benefit for the station night club fire. Shinedown, Tesla, Vinnie Appice. They opened the night and I was hooked. My 9 yo son was so excited to see them. He ended up falling asleep during Tesla lol. Still to this day. Listening to shinedown puts me in a happy place.
Seen shine down 3 times over the last few years in the 🇬🇧 amazing live band first discovered them about 12 years ago when they were the opening act for alterbridge at the Astoria in London when it was still there!! Anyone else there????

I always come back to watch this video every few weeks. I was there on August 26th... one of the best concerts ever!! Shinedown always performs at the best level & never disappoints.
It depends on which venue you see them at.
Last night at the Reno Event Center their show was good but the sound in the venue sucks.
MY FIRST TIME SEEING SHINEDOWN!!!!!! It was awesome
These guys was in OKC Zoo Amphitheater back in September. Such a killer show. 1st time I saw these guys. They only had Leave a Whisper out toured with Van Halen. 2nd time they only had 2 albums. Leave a Whisper & Us & Them. Fast forward to September 24th 2021. Without a doubt best concert ever. Fingers crossed to see them again in the very near future. Shinedown's music has helped me through a few rough patches in my past 3 years. 2019 I lost my father in law that I was close to. 2020 against a pandemic I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I was able to reverse diabetes in April of 2021. Currently approaching nearly 1 year with it still in remission. Shinedown's music has encouraged me to keep fighting no matter what curve ball life throws at me.
Thanks for this! I saw Shinedown when they were opening for 3 Doors down promoting their first album. They should have been the headliners.
This video really made me appreciate how hard it is to perform with that volume of energy... definitely why they be so damn awesome in concert!

Saw these guys in Pittsburgh, via free tix from an old friend, with the seats that were luckily about 30 ft back. Never thought much about this band until that show (even though I've always admired the vox), and their performance blew me away. I wasn't big on the backing tracks of backing vox and instruments that I could tell were there for some studio filler, BUT the entire band still absolutely KILLED IT. I've also perhaps never seen a live band of that magnitude be so humble and gracious to the crowd.
I was really surprised, as it takes a lot to impress me. WELL WORTH SEEING.
I've waited all my life to see this band.. in August Sioux city Iowa I will fulfill the angst that I've dreamed of.
I went to the Dallas concert in August 2018. Such a great experience.
Saw these guys at “AFTERSHOCK” festival here in California one of the best sets of the two day festival...

@@haveuforgotten It means they're performing to a recording of themselves (IF Sam is correct)...so what the crowd is hearing "live" has already been played/recorded and they're basically just going thru the motions on stage. KISS is currently doing it for their live tour. If Shinedown does do this, it's definitely not the vocals and only instruments. This dude can belt it out for sure.

LOVE playing here. The promoters are so chill. I do however have one bad memory here. It was our 2nd or 3rd show in Camden. We perform the first 3 songs on the NJ is my home state tour. After the 3rd song, some crazy drunk decided to impress his girlfriend and rushed the stage with a baseball bat and tried to attack me with this bat. Going to find out that his girlfriend is now the lead guitarist. My first reaction to this is ok fans rush the stage all the time. But he had a .45 magnum on him. We play Shinedown's 45 and he went back to his seat. Moral of the story: Don't get drunk at concerts. They ruin everybody's night

I first seen Shinedown before they got big at Harpo's in Detroit and they were awesome. I haven't seen them live since but I'm hoping to this summer. I actually got into a car accident after the show and broke my neck in 2 places.

They never use playback, trust me. It would be so easy to tell as well. If they had, that would have been all over media and news that there was ever lip syncing or Brent’s singing being playback. It’s not pop music like Britney Spears who did lip sync at her shows cuz I have been to one concert of hers when I was a teenager. So I would definitely be able to tell the difference. 😊
