Our co-op is full of homeschool moms that have degrees in nursing, art, writing, science, culinary, and there's even a doctor. I think this is so important, if your spouse passes away atleast you have a means to take care of your family. And I think its a testament to how much these moms love their babies and roles as mothers, that they put their family first. I also hope my daughters get this chance to be traditional moms and wives, its the happiest job ive ever had 😊

I absolutely support women going to school! All my girls, God willing will be encouraged towards their Bachelor's degree but when they decide to have children I am teaching them that they now have a new role- which is to raise their family. Their degrees can be used in their home and in entrepreneurship as they raise their families just as the ladies you noted in your homeschool cooperative. Thank you for this example!

I graduated from law school, and always dreamed of being a "high#powered" attorney, but God took me through some trials that led me into SAHMotgerhood. Now, I see why God did what he did, bc I needed to be at home with my children. But, I understand the judgement when people ask what you do, and you say you're a SAHM. Took me a while to be okay with that answer, bc I didn't place value on being a mother.

This and everyone who can afford it sould have a decent life insurance policy on both parents. If the stay at home parent dies you need that money for childcare. If the working parent dies you need that money for survival.

I have been a "trad" wife and mother for 30 years. We have 8 children all but two are adults now. We have also been homeschooling for the past 18 yrs. It makes my heart happy to see young moms making this choice.

This homeschooling scares me. I've seen how big the holes are in the knowledge of some professional teachers. How can you begin to give the high school children the full range of sports and science and literature and mathematics and art and languages?

@@mjowsey in my country they have the circle or community. They not stay at home 24h .they organize a sport and others social programs within the homeschooling community, so they can have it like another student in public school. They also have an online program for art, math and others. It's not all the mother and father teaching them. they did go outside.

As a man, I started to follow your channel as I wanted to be able to teach my son to read, seeing schools using the "global" method instead of the "phonetic" method.
Then I realized watching your videos how educated (reading books) and hard working mother(waking up early doing so many meaningful things for your family and yourself) you are.
You are raising your kids well, you're teaching them a lot of things that society have told us to forget about and that are very useful and will become more useful.
You can be proud of yourself and your kids will be, no doubts.

Amen, I love this video! My mom stayed at home until I was 10, and she was my inspiration to be a sahm for 8 years with my three sons. They are all grown now, and if only I could reverse the years, I’d do it all again and again.
Ladies, cherish your babies. You don’t get that time back, and the years are precious and fleeting.

What you said was so important. I think that so much of the reason why so many people mock stay at home moms is because of our modern capitalistic view of success. As a sahm I have to not care at all about what society views as successful and glamorous.

I worked through my first son and daughter’s first few years. It was so bad, I was always stressed, worried who my children were really with and how they were being raised. When I found out I was expecting my third, I decided it was time to be home. My first son was 6 and daughter was 4 when I had my second son. I’ve been home for over a year now. And though it has been the biggest financial struggle, God has provided for us. I would not want to go back to job at all right now!! I LOVE being here with my children, watching them grow and learn, being here to teach them and feed them what they need!! It is indeed a beautiful thing to be here and present. I regret that I missed out on all those things with my other two!

I grew up in a house with my parents and a little brother. I've some memories of my dad arriving late at home and my mothers always complaining. So, I grew up thinking "I don't want to be the person who stays at home, I want to go out and live out my life". Now I am 27 years old and have a 2y son. I got pregnant and found out after I had broken up with his father. I came back home, living just two of us, and I came back to Jesus. This year, in May, God showed me my husband-to-be. We are praying together, talking about our expectations and dreams, and there was a special moment when he said something about serving him, like, cooking and serving him, I felt so bad, like it was humiliating. I'm praying to God to renew my mind and bring the godly married to our lives.
I am trying to look at myself from a different perspective, as a traditional wife, it's hard because even the word ''traditional wife'' sounds bad to me, but I want to be this happy woman who fills the home with love and gratitude.

Here in Canada we have 12-18 MONTHS maternity leave. The U.S. is only country in the developed world that does not offer any paid maternity leave. Most States have laws that prevent puppies from being separated from their mothers before 8 weeks. Dogs are treated better than mothers in America. I think demanding paid maternity leave is the key, so that ALL women have a chance to raise their babies in the "trad" way. I think there needs to be a call to all women to demand better. There is absolutely no reason why America, the #1 richest country on the planet, cannot offer 12-18 months maternity leave.

What no one really talks about is how at the end of the "career age" most women are running to retirement. My mother and mother in-law both hated not being able to stay home for long periods of time to babysit and enjoy their first grandchild and grandchildren. They both had to work jobs that were fun in their younger years but due to becoming older were no longer enjoyable. And because they weren't at the official age for retirement they just had to endure and ended up getting illnesses which caused both of them to finally have time to just be home.

I read this book on how to homeschool krishna conscious children by Arudha. She is wonderful. I got inspiration and my son is now 5 yrs old and still homeschooling. I really enjoy all the wonderful moments together with him. Thank you Jady for your videos as it helps moms like us to validate what we do also matters. I have a very supportive husband so that really helps. As you said staying at home and taking good care of the house is a privilege. While I don't homeschooling (I did for pre k) most teacher/staff has told me how well behaved my son is and how well spoken and respectful he is with him being 5. Well I stayed home with him and worked on social emotional skills and taught him how to act in public.

I went through that and definitely feel for you. Years later I realized for me it was kind of a mourning period where I was grieving the woman I had thought I would become. I always dreamed I'd be a career woman but suddenly I was a teen mom. I felt like a loser. Oddly enough, my oldest and I now remember it as some of the best moments we experienced with me being home even though I was battling those emotions internally. Prayer and encouragement by a great relative is what brought me through.

I would say to calmly and sweetly let him know how the family would benefit from you being home. Homemade meals, save on daycare, gas etc. That you will be in a much better and calmer place to care for the kids and him as well (kiss on the head). It should help to look cute while you deliver your message. Pray about it girl!

@bosswigsacademy3465 I hear you, don't throw in the towel. You guys have 6 beautiful children counting on you. I read that us wives have a greater power to influence our marriage as opposed to our husbands. If we are able to make subtle changes they can have a great impact. I would recommend a book by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands. That book goes in depth about what I mentioned previously. Lastly, it wouldn't hurt to make meals you know HE likes, pull yourself together before he comes home, and be available to him at night. With a kind attitude of course. All of these things will speak nothing but love and appreciation for him, and in turn you will soften his heart and mind on the matters that mean most to you.

Here is something I want to see addressed, that keeps a lot of women from choosing the stay-at-home-mom option. There are way too many men out there now who do not value this role in a wife and worse, expect both out of a spouse- breadwinner and keeper of home and tending children.

Thank you so much for this beautiful message. I couldn’t agree more with mom not being home to be with their kids. missing so much time and not able to really teach and make that connections.
I wish I can be a full time mom but I’m able to work part time and go home early to pick up my kids and really be there for them.
When I was full time I was tired and saw the difference in my kids and in my marriage.
We are losing this traditions. I do believe this is the reason why we have kids having anxiety and depression.
Man wants a women that can take care of them, the home and the kids. Women don’t want to served their husband which some ends up in divorce.
Life is so short why have kids and family if your not gonna take of them.

I absolutely love being a traditional wife. When people ask, “ So what do you do?” meaning where do I work, I tell them I am a stay-at- home wife. Then, they automatically assume that I have children, so they inquire about them. They are completely shocked when I tell them I have no children--yet!
This is something I have always known that I would be since I was in the 2nd grade. It’s a lot of work ( despite what some may think), but I absolutely love it!

I was a first grade teacher, but when my daughter (now 5) was born my husband and I decided we wanted to raise our children (not a grandparent or daycare). I have been a stay-at-home mom ever since. My career was to make an impact on children, but in ANY job you have, you can be replaced in a few weeks. I will never be replaced at home. And the impact I am making at home will go on for generations. ❤ There is NOTHING like being there for every first. There is nothing like showing my kids the world, and seeing the world through my children’s eyes. It is the greatest blessing.

It’s beautiful to be a mom , to be a traditional wife.
Before being born again and accepting Jesus as My Lord and savior I couldn’t understand staying at home. My mom raised me alone, with disabilities & I was the bread winner. Super independent. And in the world that’s all you see is women making their own money and being independent and never dependent on man.
Now I’m a stay at home mom of 2 under 2. Married. And I don’t regret it.
Please make more videos like this. This is new to me only been 2 years it gets hard but I’m learning God is helping me.

I started loving and enjoying morey children every day. I thought working and making money for my family is gonna make everyone happy but I was wrong. I'm very grateful for my husband who let me stay home home mom and teaching our kids ♥️I see the difference between homeschooling and non schooling kids. Very big difference. Watching your videos inspired me more to continue what I'm doing for my kids and my husband ❤thank you so much ❤

My husband has a mother that worked from sun up to sun down. She was never available, always tired and didnt run the home. When I said that I wanted to be home from my corporate Finance job and only work part time, he agreed so quickly. I haven't looked back!😊
Also I worked at a day care for a few years. Those reports are made up. We were NOT allowed to write milestones on them until the parent stated the child did it at home even if they did it at day care already. 😢

Amen to the sacrifices. Its frustrating to hear "I wish I could be a SAHM". We have 1 car, live in a 675 square foot house, no vacations, no fancy modern clothes, all our furniture is used, etc. So many families COULD make the same choice but their priorities are different.

I would love to be a stay at home mom but finances are tough. I'm busy trying to figure out what I can do to create passive income so I can finally do what I love. But you're right Jade, when I share this dream people often start to look down on me, like I'm stupid or confused.

Loved this video. I’ve always been with my son since day 1. I was blessed to have my mom have a daycare business where I was able to work with my son with me. After I moved I became a full time stay at home mama. I was very insecure with all the negative comments. But the lord help me understand that this is what I always wanted. I did have make sacrifices and downsize but It’s been a blessing regardless of how others see it. I’ve been homeschooling my son for 3 yrs now. It’s nerve wrecking but I trust the lord is helping me and my husband strongly believes in me being home. I’ve learned so many homemade recipes from scratch too.

I recently took on a part time role, but I feel called to grow my family and to homeschool. I planned to take my daughter to private school, but that will become unattainable with more kids. You and other homeschooling mamas inspire me 💖

Wow, Jady! I love this video a lot. It hit hard. There were two things I wanted to be Since I was a little girl, and those were to be a mom and a teacher. I am trying to convince my husband that I must stay home. We have a 6 year old and it is hard. I can't do it all. I am ready to put teaching to the side for a bit. Maybe when my youngest is older, I can do it again, but right now, I know in my heart I belong home. Thank you Jady for this video ❤

I love your outlook on this- motherhood is a truly beautiful time in our lives. However, as a physician who has spent so many years in training and practice, it’s hard to just leave that part of myself behind. I have found a great balance where I can work two days each week. I have terrible guilt about the days that my children must spend with another caregiver, but at least now I have a little more time with them. Love your channel!

I love being a SAHM and homeschooling. I just could never understand why we have them and kick them out so quickly. They are gifts on loan from the Lord. I don’t want to miss a thing or relinquish my responsibility to anyone. No one loves them like us

Jady, I love your books and your patience with your children. I also agree children need to create bonds and special moments with their parents. But I believe fathers are just as able to raise children and make wholesome meals. And I know husbands who are super happy to be the stay at home caretaker. We need to encourage men to take on this role too.

All praise and thanks to God, we are a Muslim family, and I thank God that I'm already on board and have been a Traditional Wife for 26 years now. I'm privileged, blessed, and happy to have been able to do such for our now four young adult children who were all homeschooled, and although I am presently raising my two youngest grandchildren, unfortunately our second eldest daughter ran into some issues in her life and needed help with her two children, I'm thankful that I already know what to do, it takes a lot and worth it, able to do, and happy to do it; and we are young grandparents by the way 😅. I thank you for sharing this. 🤲🏽

I wish I could create and stick to meal plans and cleaning schedules but I just can’t seem to manage! If I’m cleaning I feel guilty I’m not with the kids! If I’m with the kids I feel guilty I’m not cleaning 🤦‍♀️

How old are your children? Are they able to help with cleaning? If so, have them help with cleaning. Try to tackle 1 room together than take a break and play a game, read a book, or sing a song together. Guilt is not of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I love this video. It’s empowering. However I am sure I am the minority here. I just started staying home about 1 year ago. I have a 5 year old that just started kindergarten and my 1 year old. I struggle daily with anxiety and depression. I want nothing more than to thrive and be the mother I wish for my sons. However my mental health really takes a toll on me. I did ok with one child but now that I have both I feel so overwhelmed. I also didn’t grow up with a mother and don’t really have an example. I’m thankful for channels like yours for guidance. Any tips on how to feel less overwhelm would be greatly appreciated

High value women stay at home.mums ❤
My religion Islam teaches us women to be educated or our Lord and to raise and nurture our children and happily look after our husbands and our homes with joy.
And the man is to provide, protect and lead the family with great strength. Islam teaches the husband and the wife to have high values, morality and to have the best of character.
There is a saying in my religion that when you have a woman who is educated then she can raise a whole nation.

My mom didn’t work. My parents were divorced, but she never worked. When I grew up I wanted to be a stay at home mom. I wanted to be home when my kids got home and be there for them. I got married not thinking this would be possible. I had to work. I am actually getting divorced. Maybe we could have done it had we discussed it. It is important to know what you want and discuss it with the person you are dating. Thankfully I get to work from home so I am here when my kids get home from school.
