Thank you for sharing Torben. Yes, being a Christian is very hard. I've lost every single family member and friend, then alone, I lost my home & was even homeless for a while... all for Christ. Life here is complicated, difficult and very hard, very lonely. But He's worth it. Praying in the Holy Spirit -Tongues gets me through. I am looking forward to heaven though.

Yes, life is very hard! It is a life of faith for sure!!! Lonely, isolated, trusting on an everyday basis. I just raise my hands in praise that although it is difficult and even unbearable...at times, even often, it is not impossible because Jesus is with us in all!

That is what frightens him the most. How many ministers of God do u know in the world today who preach the pure gospel living the life, baptising with water and Holy Spirit fire, teach train & equip disciples and send then out. How many?

This is the truth...if you give your life to Christ, it's not "bigger, better, richer"....but the exact opposite. It will cost you everything and everyone when you (TRULY) follow Him.
The truth is...laying this life down for Christ guarantees you a very difficult, hard & lonely life. He's worth it though! Praying in the Holy Ghost-Tongues gets me through, because everyday is so very hard.

So you're saying a Christian that gets up to go to work everyday, raises their family, pay bills, seeks to walk in the Spirit everday, and seeks to love their neighbor everyday isnt a TRUE Christian? To be a Christian is to be cursed and not blessed? They necessarily need to be desperate and destitute? That's nonsense.
I don't know your story, but I know PLENTY of Christians, mainly of the charismatic variety, that DESTROYED THEIR OWN lives by living everyday thinking their mental impressions was God speaking specific instructions into their skull. Total chaos.
I lived that life. My Dad threw our life away over what he thought God was "telling" him. It was all garbage. None of the "promises" happened, none of the prophecies came to pass. He threw his career away, failed at another, and my mother suffered with diseases for years before dying of cancer. None of God's "plan" came to fruition. Just chaos.
I very nearly lost my faith over charismatic chaos, but God showed me what the Christian walk is, and it's not relying on magic tricks. It's living in His will, which is clearly outlined in Scripture what his will is for us.
This is why we must trust SCRIPTURE to live our lives, not voices in our head.
Praying for you Torben...
I believe that God is still going to use you here in the US.... Stay close to the Lord....

When I traveled to Taiwan to teach English in the tiny church, I took a suitcase, but also carried a backpack. I put 1 pair of pants, 2 shirts, 2 socks & underwear, a bible, some medicines, a small umbrella, a water filter and a bit of everything I would need if my suitcase didn't arrive. It's wise to carry what you need with you at all times. Then, wherever I was at was home to me.
Torben, I'm in New Mexico not far from the Mexico border. I'm sorry your going through these many trials. I pray for the Lord's harvest and for virtue in trials, our Lord's fresh hope and joy. These are the things I also need when I'm feeling pressed from many sides, from within and outward! Our Lord is so faithful and trustworthy and clearly loves through you! Thank you for your perseverance in seeking the lost, waiting for your testimony, admonition, and tender care!

We lost all family but my Sister. We lost everything we owned starting with 4 bedroom home full of stuff to the streets. We lost everything we owned again and again. We moved into our now apartment with plastic utensils and a mattress on the floor with some clothes. We were almost afraid to buy anything anymore. 😂 All through all that God used all of it to help us grow and touch other lives and pretty much get over ourselves. God will use who HE wants, when HE wants, How HE wants for as long as HE wants and we are only HIS conduits, branches on the vine. It's about His Will be done on earth and through us instead of ours. Even Jesus asked for that cup to be removed BUT said not my will but thine be done. Look up a man Supresa Sithole even crazier life. Love & Prayers Brother in Christ to you & yours. 🙏🏻🕊️✝️

Amen this is the truth of a life with God, it is certainly a full life. Its a pattern and we learn the enemies schemes which he twists in different situations. There is so much learning from it all, its all about our reactions to these situations which is not easy but as we are whipped by these situations over and over our soul learns to calm and trust in the Lord. Everything that the enemy plans out for evil our Father works out for his good. Your doing great keep the up the pace and face goliath and do not fear.
