My dear brother Torben, I am grateful to GOD for your life, to see you out of the prison walls. Like you said, had it been you came out after a month, it would’ve been very scary for those who hunger to serve the LORD. After You spending a year in jail for committing no crime it gives me a wake up call knowing that persecution is inevitable for those Who have surrender their life to GOD. Remember about 15 or so years ago when you came to the US and you were in Sacramento. I was in that meeting and I listen to your testimony of what happened to you with your family in Australia. It gives me the hunger for GOD the more. The one thing I will say regarding you being in jail is that America is not ready for a man like you Very bold to take on the streets of America preaching the word of GOD, baptizing people in the name of JESUS, going from town to town and from state to state. This was causing even people who have fallen out of love with JESUS repenting and coming back to their Father like the prodigal Sons and daughters. You were taking the streets of America back to Christ JESUS. Teaching Bible study seminars, They see it as a big blow. GOD is too faithful to fail us. HE has proven himself in our lives and now we come to realize, that HE is too faithful to fail us. HE will not leave us halfway, what HE started HE will finish. I spent 5 days in conditions like this, when I was only supposed to be there one. Based on demons attacking. Defamation and slander is of the enemy! We pray against any PTSD from this, or any darts thrown Jesus Name!! We all face personal persecution that cost us monetary and time. We plant seeds and sow, not for us! Our “real” time is with OUR Father for eternity and WE can plants the seeds, keeping sowing. We are attacked even by our own family, friends, and who we think we can trust. Jesus is our judge! We know the devil is defeated already-his time is very very short. Keep spreading His love and mercy until the end. 🤍🤍

This is how prison is. I was facing life but in prison God met me and I was free. And in a way I believe it’s good that Torben experienced this so that he will remember those in prison and remind the disciples to visit them.

I am overjoyed at his release, but profoundly saddened that our brother seems to suffer a type of PTSD much like some of our soldiers. Praise Yehovah God who will use even this for His glory. You could see on him within a second of this video .. he is deeply broken in his sole and deeply traumatized. That is not a good thing. This is what lies and injustice against someone’s character does.

Suffering is a key part of being a Christian and is a major part of our reward, a sign that we are in the world but not of the world, and a part of our testimony to others that we belong to God. Paul said it was NECESSARY to enter the Kingdom of God through many sufferings. Peter said Jesus learned obedience through his sufferings. While I sympathize with his experiences, I'm certain that God allowed him to go through this for a reason...so as Job said, "Should I accept only good from God's hand and not the bad also?"

If it had not been for the LORD! Only by the Grace and Mercy and love of God do we all get to see Brother Torben again. Glory to God. He bears the light of Christ. Less of him and more of the Humility and love of Christ shining forth. He is reminding me of other saints who were imprisoned, and other persecuted saints they truly shine differently.
Here in Brazil the prisions are a paradise compeared with the US ones....and no one stays forever in príon here,and If after 3 month If not judged,the person hás to be released....

Suffering is a key part of being a Christian and is a major part of our reward, a sign that we are in the world but not of the world, and a part of our testimony to others that we belong to God. Paul said it was NECESSARY to enter the Kingdom of God through many sufferings. Peter said Jesus learned obedience through his sufferings.
While I sympathize with his experiences, I'm certain that God allowed him to go through this for a reason...so as Job said, "Should I accept only good from God's hand and not the bad also?"

Here in Brazil the prisions are a paradise compeared with the US ones....and no one stays forever in príon here,and If after 3 month If not judged,the person hás to be released....

my heart breaks for you, Torbin. seeing your face after so long and knowing where you’ve been my first thought was ,you are not the same man. I can still see the peace in your eyes, but the joy is gone, or at least very dim. Praying for your healing and restoration in the spirit. I know this was the hardest thing you’ve ever been through but God was with you. What the enemy intends for evil God will use for good. 🙏🏻
