Kings, Dodgers, Rams, Lakers, and Galaxy. Pretty simple reasoning, I was born in Northern California, but my younger brother affiliated himself with the Sharks, and I couldn't possibly root for the same team as my brother (even though I love him), so I chose to rival him. I decided to pick the Kings, because I liked the name, jersey, color scheme, and logo all more than the Ducks, and the rest is history. Mind you, all 3 teams were relevant, and playoff teams during the time, and the Sharks were actually the best of the 3. As my sports interest expanded, I just followed the teams that were in LA, and he followed the Northern California teams. Me: Kings, Dodgers, Rams, Lakers, Galaxy. My brother: Sharks, Giants, 49ers, (SAC) Kings, Earthquakes. We were both young when we picked the Sharks and Kings. Around 7-8 and 9-10 years old, but we still follow both teams to this day, and one of us is much more happy with their team's than the other right now. You can probably guess who it is. 😅
My rooting is simple: My #1 teams in each league are from Seattle (hometown). #2 team in each is league is Detroit (not sure why - no connection to MI at all) Needless to say, watching basketball is tough
I feel the same way for whatever reason. #1 is and always will be Baltimore/DC teams, but for whatever reason, I’ve always found myself attracted towards Detroit teams, especially the Wings.
Interesting. I'm a Michigan resident from birth and despite happily supporting the Red Wings and Tigers, I am not a Lions fan and even have some anti-Lions tendencies. I see no obligation to support a team that hasn't done anything since 1957 except but heartbreak, misery and suffering to the people of my state. (For reference, my mother and her siblings were all born in the 1960s, so it's now been two whole generations of my family). Despite being equally embarrassing in recent years, I'd probably support the Pistons if I cared at all about the NBA (I'm more interested in college basketball during March Madness). And while the Tigers haven't won a World Series in my lifetime, they have won two AL pennants over that same time frame, so I'm hopeful I'll live to see them win their next WS championship. I also have a soft spot for most Chicago teams (including the Bulls, despite the rivalry with the Pistons) since those teams are often the most popular in Michigan after Detroit teams (and the Packers, in the case of the Upper Peninsula) and also because my uncle and his family used to live in Chicagoland before moving down South when I was about eight or nine.
NBA: n/a MLB: Expos NFL: Hawks, Cowboys NHL: Canucks, Habs Bundesliga: Bayern (When I was a kid my family was posted to a Canadian military base in West Germany. The only sports on TV in the mid-70's was a weekly Bayern game and skiing. Big Ingemar Stenmark and Franz Klammer fan. I was hillside when Klammer won the downhill in Innsbruck '76. That became overshadowed for me when I was also present at Kathy Kreiner's giant slalom win, upsetting Rosi Mittermaier who was highly favored to win all three of her races. Kathy is still my all-time Olympic hero.)
I surprised the Grizzlies aren’t up there being they used to play in Vancouver and were also very big underdogs. Actually the term underdog is being a bit too generous with how they were.
My fandom mostly is "local" for my main team(s) And then I wait for a team to speak to me to gain fandom. NHL: Vancouver, Rangers, Florida. (Born in Van, I love Sam Rosen and MSG, Just liked the Cats always) NBA: Raptors (canada) NFL: Packers, Seahawks MLB: Jays CFL: Lions CFB: Alabama
For me my fandom when it comes to North American leagues is the Kraken (NHL), Buffalo Bills (NFL), Raptors (NBA), the Blue Jays (MLB) & the Sounders (MLS). Now if you expand the fandom to things like college sports in the US & European soccer, my teams are Chelsea (Premier League) & the University of Washington (college sports).
My fandom is the Avs (NHL), Broncos (NFL), Mariners/Rockies (MLB), Sounders (MLS) and Mavericks (NBA). “Secondary” I’d go with Stars (cause I’m a Modano/Heiskanen fan), Niners (cause of my dad), and Nuggets (to complete the Denver fandom). Edit: go ahead and roast me for my Broncos fandom. That was a horrific game.
so I'm very biased, but id love to see a video on the CFL. I love your content and I think you're very objective I think it would be interesting to see your opinion on how they can grow our league and have it more relevant here in Canada. just saying.
the ONLY team I love is the Toronto Argonauts. I watch hockey and NFL, but have zero favourite teams in those leagues. I am more interested in players than teams, but will cheer for certain teams if I wish to see them win that game.
Regarding Ray Bourque and your slight fandom of the Rockets, there were similarities between Bourque’s career and that of Clyde Drexler. Both played in the finals twice with their original teams before winning their only championship with the teams they retired on.
My favorite MLB team has always been the Red Sox (my Mom is from there and is a huge fan, plus I’ve never liked the Yankees). I became a Kraken fan when they started in 2021, prior to that I followed the Capitals (Big Ovechkin fan and my Dad is from there). I’m going to attend the University of Oregon in Fall 2024, so there’s college sports. I’ve never really had a favorite NFL or NBA team, oddly.
Reasons for my fandom... Devils: I'm from Jersey, they are my team. Steelers: I didn't want to be a Jets fan. The first game my dad took me to the Jets were playing the Steelers and the Steelers won. 76ers: I liked Allen Iverson. Cubs: Wrigley is my favorite stadium.
Kraken, Seahawks and Lakers. Don’t follow baseball, but would like the Mariners to get better. I’d be in a dilemma if Supersonics come back, Kobe is the reason I fell in love with the Lakers.
Ironically, my fandom seems to run counter to whatever was the "popular team" at the time, cause yeah, I was kind of a rebel myself. NHL, supported the Capitals right when the Red Wings were (ahem) red hot. NFL, threw my support to the Ravens cause I don't like the Steelers faithful (although that has changed just slightly). NBA, supported the Spurs cause everybody swoons over the Lakers. MLB, baseball has never really been my favorite sport, but I do nominally support the Nationals or Orioles mainly cause of my Capitals/Ravens fandom.
NHL: Blues, Leafs, Oilers NFL: Bengals, Vikings, Bills MLB: Twins, Blue Jays NBA: Timberwolves, Bucks CFL: Pretty much any team depending on the night except Argos and Red Blacks Soccer: Arsenal, Toronto FC
Mine are: NHL - Los Angeles Kings (I think they have the best jersey history and overall look out of all the teams, plus the name “Kings” is pretty sick) NBA - Utah Jazz (I am from Utah) MLB - Seattle Mariners (born in Washington State, would watch their games with my grandpa growing up) NFL - Seattle Seahawks (same reasoning as with the Mariners, although I don’t consider myself a big fan of the team or football in general)
First teams to get back to me (with goodies - wallet scedules, team photos etc.) when I wrote to them as a kid. Thus, Mariners, Islanders and NY Jets. I was a Sonics fan until they moved so now it's the Lakers (because a high school friend signed for them). I tend to root for players now, that way you don't have to worry if they change teams.
I’m Yankees, Jets, Rangers, and Hornets/Knicks. Yankees and jets by far are my two die hard teams. Although I’m not from NY, my family is from the Bronx and so I’ve adopted the teams since birth! Remember sneaking in the living room as a young kid and catching the Yankees games when my dad was watching them! Kudos to you for keeping up with 20 teams I can hardly keep up with 4 leagues😂
Personally I just keep up with NHL, MLB, and Premier League Football Lifelong fan of the Preds and the Kings, secondary favorites teams are the Flyers, Kraken and Panthers- really enjoyed watching the Canucks this season too, and I'd be silently rooting for any Canadian team who goes on a deep playoff run. MLB is the Dodgers, Braves, Giants, and Mariners Premier League is West Ham United
As an American I can tell you I watch the CFL when I can and used to root for the Ottawa Rough Riders. I have a friend who played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and won a Grey Cup with them. Otherwise I root for 4 teams only and I don't have a 2nd or 3rd favorite team in any sport: I root for all Philadelphia teams except for the Eagles. For football I'm a St. Louis/Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals fan.
Hometown teams are my first priority. I follow the MLB and NHL the closest. The O’s are my top team and are FINALLY looking like to start a new dynasty era they haven’t seen since Earl Weaver was manager. And the Caps have always been my favorite since going to my first game against the Thrashers of all teams wayyyy back in 2001. I’ll admit that I shed a tear when they won the cup because I thought they’d never get over that hill. I have a soft spot for all Detroit teams for some reason as well as the A’s and Cubs. And then for hockey, the Wings are my 2nd eastern team and the Jets and Coyotes are my western teams. If you ever get the chance Shannon, you should come out east and catch a game at Camden Yards and PNC Park. Two of the best places for baseball.
I love how you're kind of all over the place with Fandom. I'm somewhat similar. NHL-> Colorado, Philadelphia, Edmonton, Toronto NBA-> Toronto, Detroit, Portland, Orlando NFL-> New Orleans, San Francisco, Buffalo MLB -> Toronto, Oakland, San Diego Soccer-> Arsenal, Ajax, Inter Milan, Aston Villa, Dortmond, Barcelona, and National teams are Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine
For me I split the teams I cheer for between Wisconsin and North Carolina. This is because my most of family is in Wisconsin and most of my family is originally from Wisconsin. I was born and raised in North Carolina. And so like I said my teams are split between the two states.... NFL: Green Bay Packers NHL: Carolina Hurricanes MLB: Milwaukee Brewers NBA: Milwaukee Bucks MLS: Charlotte FC PLL: Carolina Chaos Other than these I do watch tons of other leagues and sports. I do have lots of other favorite teams with those leagues and sports. One you brought up is the CFL. I am a huge Montréal Alouettes fan. That started when one of my favorite Packers players Ahman Green went to play for them at the end of his career and I started following them. I then fell in love with the team and then later a former Packers head coach Mike Sherman came for a few years and that was cool too. Very happy they won Grey Cup 110 this year! It was a really awesome game to watch!
For me NHL: Blackhawks and Coyotes NFL: Bears and Cardinals MLB: White Sox and Diamondbacks, sometimes Cubs NBA: Bulls and Suns Soccer/Football: Chicago Fire, Leon(Mexico), Tottenham(England)
Boston has always been my east team except the Patriots post Bledsoe...Rourke could get me back..🤔 Vancouver/Seattle have always been my west teams. Always been a Dolphins fan kuz of Marino. Have cheered most teams Steve Nash played for except the Lakers. Anything Toronto is not an option. But I do like players that play for TO teams
Pirates and Steelers, but not Penguins 😂 (don't worry, I know why). The Pittsburgh teams are my favorites in their respective sport, and then I also root for the Carolina Panthers (Charlotte born and went to Panthers at Steelers pre-season games growing up) and Vegas Golden Knights (I didn't actually expect their ruthless team building strategy to work)
Bengals fan since 1970 but haven't followed football in a long time, so that kind of has died. But they were my #1 team in any sport, and I have my old pre-stripes style Bengals helmet on proud display in my living room, for sentimental and nostalgic reason. Baseball, it's been the White Sox since I started watching baseball as a 7 year old in 1968. I think a combination of Hoyt WIlhelm and loving Comiskey Park, even just seeing it on TV. Hockey, which is my favorite sport, I never had any real favorite team. I guess the Flames, who I root for, but it's not live-or-die with them. I never had a favorite team at all until Joey Mullen, hometown boy, went to Calgary and I've rooted for them fruitlessly ever since, except for 89. I also like the Islanders and Ottawa, but in hockey I'm more of a fan of the sport than any one team. I usually don't care who wins as long as the game is entertaining.
My favorite teams have a very complex background, but all things considered, it’s quite simple. I am a panthers fan, born and raised in South Carolina and watched us pick Cam and Luke. Nothing much more, I will always be with the blue. Packers are fun to watch, and the lions were always that-team-i-liked-when-they-suck, but now they don’t lol. I am a Braves fan for proximity reasons and the fact that I am a huge Greg Maddux fan even though I’ve never seen him play. Nationals will always be the team I left behind after the end of the franchise, but I still turn a game on now and then. The orioles are a favorite of mine based simply off their stadium, their fanbase and the history that place has. I love the Rangers because of Adolis Garcia and Marcus Semien. That’s it lol. Twins because Minnesota baseball has always been a really intriguing concept to me. Blackhawks fan because the first time I ever watched hockey it was the time they won the Stanley Cup. I wanted to be a Maple leafs fan at one point, but jeez that fanbase takes everything so seriously, especially when they found out I owned a Connor Bedard Jersey lol. Celtics and Indiana are fun to watch, but I’m currently in a two team tandem between the Hawks and the Clippers. Manchester City because that was the team I always used in FIFA back in the day, Tottenham because I’ve grown up.
Colorado has been scientifically proven to be a bane to pitchers. The ball doesn't spin right and doesn't sink. And I've been a Braves fan since I was like 10. Don't forget Kevin Millwood in that rotation with Maddux, Glavin and Smoltz. And that lineup has usually been pretty good with Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Andres Galarraga, David Justice, Fred McGrif, Marquis Grissom.
Braves pitching in the 90s was amazing but Jack Morris had their number in 1991, what a series. Glad my Dad & Grampa both saw the Sox win in 2004 - they are both gone now.
For me it’s Bruins, Braves, Falcons, Hawks, Atlanta United FC. Manchester United. Atlanta Gladiators(ECHL). And I also root for the Nashville Predators(closest nhl team to part of GA I live in). Those are my teams.
NHL is the only league i follow. Which is strange for someone in the Mexico/US border since nobody ever talks about it. I started watching the Pens first since that's my dad's team, but then chose the habs and canucks as my teams. So now the order is habs, canucks, pens. Internationally i cheer for Finland because highlights of the finnish national team is the reason i got interested in hockey in the first place. However i also cheer for smaller countries like Germany, Switzerland, Norway and France. And obviously Mexico in the lower divisions.
Don't Worry, I live in Baltimore,MD, Born and raised, and Ice-Hockey is my second favorite Sport next to Soccer. Baltimore hasn't had a Hockey team since the Mid to late 1990's with the AHL Baltimore Bandits. Unfortunately, I wasn't into Hockey then as much as I am now. Always was a Washington Capitals Fan with them being nearby and watching their games on T.V. when they were on. Still like the Capitals, then later became a Flyers fan as well, and the Lightning, Bruins, Stars, Wild, Hawks,Habs,Oilers,Kraken, Kings,Knights,Jets,Devils, Red Wings, and Leafs fan as well. But am also a Fan of my hometown Baltimore/D.C. Sports Teams and some Sports Teams in other Cities as well.
For some reason, I tend to lean towards Florida-based teams, like the Lightning for the NHL or the Dolphins for the NFL (plus the Leafs. I blame Steve Dangle for this). For soccer teams (yes, I know, don't shoot me), Inter Milan for Italy, Real Madrid for Spain, Bayern Munich for Germany, and no real team for the French league
I am a Denver/Colorado fan thru and thru. The Rockies are a hard team to be a fan for at times though. (Nice to finally have a Nuggets team that I can feel proud of.)
That magical WS run in ‘07 for the Rockies was such a strange feeling. I was a freshman in HS back then and felt like that was the start of something special that could last more than one month. We all know how that went…
I understand, I'm a Rays fan. It's hard to root for a team that has no interest in winning a championship. They refuse to spend so I follow the Mets in the NL because they have the money to realistically win a championship one day.
@@JakeC222as a NY sports fan I hate to be the bearer of bad news but no amount of money in the world is buying us a championship. We truly are bambino’d. We are paying hand over fist already and had a losing record. Y’all and the Orioles were spending a fraction of what we are currently and STILL producing far better results. Neither the Mets nor the Yankees made the playoffs and spent far more on a handful of contracts than the entirety of the Ray’s and Orioles bullpens combined. It’s not always about money in baseball, though I can understand your frustration.
@@Fatblue246 The Rays got to the world series twice and both times were absolute miracles. I'll probably never see them win or even reach the world series again. They simply won't spend enough to win the world series. The Rays are only good because their front office is amazing and I'm worried Erik Neander will be poached by a larger market team like when the Dodgers poached Andrew Friedman from us. Another reason I started following the Mets years back is because I was convinced the Rays were going to relocate. I also despise the Yankees. They just got a new stadium deal so luckily they won't be going anywhere for a while.
For me it's all about Chicago. Blackhawks, Cubs, and Bears. Bulls and White Sox meh. The only time I strayed from Chicago is back in the early 70s I became a huge Oakland Raiders fan. Loved those teams led by Ken Stabler into the Jim Plunkett era. I liked the Las Vegas Golden Knights and I wanted them to be my secondary NHL team, but when they immediately became Cup contenders it kind of took the luster off with them not having to pay their dues as a new franchise.
I see all 4 of my favorite teams (Canucks, Seahawks, twins, twolves). I’ll gladly take 2/3 being absolutely insane rn and the Seahawks getting lucky and winning. Wolves are on a TEAR rn and it’s incredibly fun to watch. Same with Canucks, my favorite team. They are an amazing team to watch, always make it interesting but fun too
my fandom hockey: Colorado Avalanche, Slovan Bratislava Football: Real Madrid, Manchester United, Slovan Bratislava Basketball: Los Angeles Lakers American Football: Denver Broncos Basseball: I don't give a shit
Most of the teams I like are based on their rosters. Edmonton is a very enjoyable team to watch, so at the moment I am a big fan of the Oilers. I also like the Leafs, despite having only lived near Toronto for about a year. I moved around a lot as a kid, so I guess I never laid down roots enough to become a homer and cheer for whatever "my team" was lol. Some teams I also found myself drawn to during particularly epic playoff runs. The Kings in 2012. The Penguins in 2016 (seeing Kessel win the cup was such an amusing/cool moment to me) In the past, this also happened with the 2003 Mighty Ducks, and also lead to my long standing dislike of the Devils. That one was so long ago now, however, I don't really care about either team anymore. Still adore Paul Kariya though, and still despise Scott Stevens haha Oh yeah, it's only hockey too. Don't really have any interest in the ball sports lol
I thought I was the only one with a random group of sports teams I cheer for. Since I was about 10 years old I've been a fan of the Penguins, Titans/Oilers, and SF Giants. I was a fan of the Supersonics but I quit caring about NBA long ago anyway.
NBA - I don’t really care about basketball, but I root for the Mavericks because I lived in Dallas for 16 years NFL - Cowboys, whom I’ve been a fan of since I was 3 MLB - Rangers (since 1989, the Ryan Express days), As (since the 80s with the Bash Brothers), Indians (no Guardians here) NHL - Stars, Blackhawks, Golden Knights
Generally, my favourite teams are those from Ottawa-Gatineau, Canada, India and Bengal (a state in India).. Drilling down to my hardcore fandom, in no particular order, I root for the Senators, Team Canada (hockey), CanMT (soccer), and India (test cricket). Also, hardcore, I root for the Cincinnati Bengals and Oklahoma Sooners (NCAAF).
born & raised in LA, so it's mostly LA for me (kings, dodgers, lakers) and also the chargers, who reside in LA now but did not while i was growing up. someday they'll win a super bowl... hopefully
I’m not a fan of basketball at all. I was somewhat back in the day of Bird, Magic, etc., but no team. Baseball I was a Dodgers fan as a kid. In ‘83 a friend of my Dad’s(Bobby Lillis) was the bench coach for Roger Craig in SF, so I became a Giants fan until Bruce Bochy went to Texas, so now I’m a Rangers fan. In football, I guess I’ve been a Broncos fan since the 80’s, as I followed the career of Elway from Stanford and on. Hockey, When I was a kid in Alberta, I followed the Bruins and Red Wings, again because a neighbor of ours in Lethbridge(Vic Stasiuk) played for both teams. Moving to California, I followed the Kings from 67-78, and then became an Oilers fan when they entered the NHL, and have been ever since, through the good, the bad and the present ugly.😂
NBA- Vancouver Grizzlies (not now) Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz (not now), Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns (not now) and Denver Nuggets. MLB-Montreal Expos (not now), Toronto Blue Jays, Arizona Diamond Backs (not now) and Minnesota Twins (not now). NFL-Green Bay Packers NHL-All of Jaromir Jagr’s team and now Penguins, Oilers and Bruins. Also Edmonton Eskimos and Elks fan.
My favourite teams are the Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks, and BC Lions. The NHL and CFL are the only major North American leagues that I watch regularly. I watch the Toronto Blue Jays occasionally. I never watch the NBA and NFL.
i’m from Long Island so my teams are rather predictable, Islanders(NHL), The Mets(MLB, they play in Queens which is right there), The Jets(NFL, also used to play in Queens back in the day), the Knicks(idrk any native NYers or Long Islanders who are Nets fans at this point, they lost most when they moved to NJ back in the day), and an NYCFC fan(MLS). I got a feel’s good with an MLS cup in 2021 via NYCFC but besides that it is usually pure misery, especially with the Jets and Mets. Thankfully the Islanders have been hangin in there so far, hopefully they can keep it up and make the playoffs but I’m not going to hold my breath. I like the Padres in baseball also, they’re probably the team i watch most besides the Mets, was hoping they would get to do something with Juan Soto but it appears it was not in the cards. Maybe one day they’ll get there. Keep up the great work, another great year of videos. Happy Christmas and to many more!!
I’ve always been curious why there are so few Mariners fans in Vancouver. I would’ve thought that there’d be a decent following in Vancouver given it’s the only team in the Pacific Northwest. Before the Kraken joined the league I would root for the Canucks as the only team representing the Northwest, and there were a decent number of us down here as well.
Being a Mariners fan myself, we feel most of the folks from Vancouver are Blue Jay fans consider 1. It's the only Canadian team and 2. T-Mobile Park is usually filled with Blue Jay fans when they play the Mariners in Seattle.
For me, it’s simple: I root for LA teams. NBA: Lakers / Clippers NHL: Kings / (Mighty) Ducks. I do have some soft spots on the most beloved teams, even with Winnipeg getting their team back. MLB: Dodgers / Angels / Expos / Royals WNBA: Sparks NWSL: Angel City FC MLS: LAFC / LA Galaxy No NFL team here, though I do have a soft spot for the Lions.
It has always been a Ducks and Saints for me, for a guy who lives in SoCal. Ducks since 99 and Saints since 2001. Ducks really because of the movies and also Teemu and Kariya. Saints was more so bc of family. I don’t really have a team for the NBA but I follow religiously. MLB I don’t follow as much as well don’t have a team. Less stress I guess.
I think that for a lot of Canadians not from Toronto or Montreal if they don’t root for the Leafs or Habs as their second team after their local team, then Boston since the Bobby Orr era has been their 2nd team
Have to ask: as an Atlanta sports fan, the most depressing sports city in the world, when we get an Atlanta NHL team again (it is coming, sources have confirmed to me) will you support them?
My teams are the canucks, Steelers, orioles, and pacers. Very random. One was inherited while the others are just the worst teams last year because it was funny. I’m doing pretty well let’s just say.
I believe that you should inherit or choose one team in each sport, and then you stick with that team until you die, no matter how much they make you suffer. I was taken to the REAL Yankee Stadium as a child, and that was the most memorable day of my youth. My teams are the Yankees (3rd generation fan, inherited from my Dad), Colts (inherited from my Dad), Capitals. I enjoy watching hockey the most of any sport, but the Yankees will always be the team that I care about more than any other.
Meh, I'm pretty loose and like a top 3 as long as they don't conflict much. Nabokov and a cool team, then lunqvist, and then price. I had good memories seeing them on TV as a kid
NBA - previously Chicago Bulls; don't follow NBA anymore MLB - Chicago Cubs NFL - Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos NHL - New Jersey Devils, previously Chicago Blackhawks (no longer because of Kyle Beach situation); have changed Western Conference teams recently year-to-year from Vegas Golden Knights (my wife's favorite team), Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, will change again next year
This man has over 20 teams across 4 sports thats too many😂 I like the Capitals, 76ers (formerly Lakers because of Kobe Bryant, but after he retired went with my most local team), Cubs, Patriots, and Manchester United. Theres a few teams im *partial* to (as in not a real fan but dont mind seeing them win if my teams dont). I would never root for these teams over my top teams though: Real Madrid, Boston Bruins, and the Phillies
@@BobBlueBurgers I live in Arkansas, so that’s why they’re so random. I can’t watch CFL from down here but if I had to pick, I’d say Saskatchewan Roughriders, Ottawa RedBlacks, and BC Lions
I'm mostly split between Chicago and Wisconsin teamwise...football, I ride and die with the Bears and Packers...baseball, Cubs mainly, though I keep the occasional eye on the Mariners and Twins (the latter mostly out of spite towards the Brewers)...basketball, I only really care about the Bucks. Hockey, I'm an Avs fan... haven't really given a damn about the Blackhawks ever, really, especially after they dumped Roenick and Chelios.
NHL: Blue Jackets NFL: Browns MLB: Indians(watched all teams though and stopped watching baseball after the 2019 season due to rule changes.) Perhaps one day I will get to see a team I root for win a championship

MLB (Blue Jays and Mariners)

Third
the ONLY team I love is the Toronto Argonauts. I watch hockey and NFL, but have zero favourite teams in those leagues. I am more interested in players than teams, but will cheer for certain teams if I wish to see them win that game.
But in the video he directly says he’s neither interested nor follows the CFL.
@@bjdon99 What's your point ? Everyone here is commenting on their favourite teams, so I added my comment. Had nothing to do with the presenter.
NHL: Blues, Leafs, Oilers
NFL: Bengals, Vikings, Bills
MLB: Twins, Blue Jays
NBA: Timberwolves, Bucks
CFL: Pretty much any team depending on the night except Argos and Red Blacks
Soccer: Arsenal, Toronto FC
Die hard Yankee fan and that 2004 season was my introduction to the game while understanding what was going on :(
Thg being a bengals fan surprised me.
My teams are
NFL Browns, Jaguars
NBA Cavaliers
MLB Reds
NHL Penguins, Jackets, Golden Knights
CFL?
Mine are:
NHL - Los Angeles Kings (I think they have the best jersey history and overall look out of all the teams, plus the name “Kings” is pretty sick)
NBA - Utah Jazz (I am from Utah)
MLB - Seattle Mariners (born in Washington State, would watch their games with my grandpa growing up)
NFL - Seattle Seahawks (same reasoning as with the Mariners, although I don’t consider myself a big fan of the team or football in general)
Is there hope for an NHL team in Salt Lake City ?
NY Jets or Winnipeg Jets ? 😊
Personally I just keep up with NHL, MLB, and Premier League Football
Lifelong fan of the Preds and the Kings, secondary favorites teams are the Flyers, Kraken and Panthers- really enjoyed watching the Canucks this season too, and I'd be silently rooting for any Canadian team who goes on a deep playoff run.
MLB is the Dodgers, Braves, Giants, and Mariners
Premier League is West Ham United
Thanks for selling Rice to ARSENAL!
NHL-> Colorado, Philadelphia, Edmonton, Toronto
NBA-> Toronto, Detroit, Portland, Orlando
NFL-> New Orleans, San Francisco, Buffalo
MLB -> Toronto, Oakland, San Diego
Soccer-> Arsenal, Ajax, Inter Milan, Aston Villa, Dortmond, Barcelona, and National teams are Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine
For me I split the teams I cheer for between Wisconsin and North Carolina. This is because my most of family is in Wisconsin and most of my family is originally from Wisconsin. I was born and raised in North Carolina. And so like I said my teams are split between the two states....
NFL: Green Bay Packers
NHL: Carolina Hurricanes
MLB: Milwaukee Brewers
NBA: Milwaukee Bucks
MLS: Charlotte FC
PLL: Carolina Chaos
Other than these I do watch tons of other leagues and sports.
Judging by this list Shannon was trying to test the Misery index limit
😂
Uh, no Mariners on here.
For me
NHL: Blackhawks and Coyotes
NFL: Bears and Cardinals
MLB: White Sox and Diamondbacks, sometimes Cubs
NBA: Bulls and Suns
Soccer/Football: Chicago Fire, Leon(Mexico), Tottenham(England)
Boston has always been my east team except the Patriots post Bledsoe...Rourke could get me back..🤔
Vancouver/Seattle have always been my west teams.
Interesting to hear, thank you for sharing!
It’s a great Christmas as far as my fandom is concerned with the Canucks first-overall in the NHL and ARSENAL top of the Premier League!
No CFL?
Thanks for mentioning the CFL. I've always been curious that you don't talk about them. But I get it - not your cup of tea. Nuff said.
I’m Celtics + Raptors, Blue Jays, Chargers and oilers. We agree on most except for hockey
My fandom:
NFL: Seattle Seahawks
NHL: Seattle Kraken
MLB: Seattle Mariners
NBA: Golden State Warriors
College sports: Washington State Cougars
CFL?
Please Timberwolves bring a championship to the state of misery
I see all 4 of my favorite teams (Canucks, Seahawks, twins, twolves). I’ll gladly take 2/3 being absolutely insane rn and the Seahawks getting lucky and winning. Wolves are on a TEAR rn and it’s incredibly fun to watch. Same with Canucks, my favorite team. They are an amazing team to watch, always make it interesting but fun too
my fandom
hockey: Colorado Avalanche, Slovan Bratislava
Football: Real Madrid, Manchester United, Slovan Bratislava
Basketball: Los Angeles Lakers
American Football: Denver Broncos
Basseball: I don't give a shit
Still adore Paul Kariya though, and still despise Scott Stevens haha
Oh yeah, it's only hockey too. Don't really have any interest in the ball sports lol
For me, it’s Ottawa because of Hometown, and Vegas because I adopted them when they joined. In the other sports, Lions Blue Jays and Raptors
I like Ottawa, because I'm from Toronto.
I thought I was the only one with a random group of sports teams I cheer for. Since I was about 10 years old I've been a fan of the Penguins, Titans/Oilers, and SF Giants. I was a fan of the Supersonics but I quit caring about NBA long ago anyway.
NBA - I don’t really care about basketball, but I root for the Mavericks because I lived in Dallas for 16 years
NFL - Cowboys, whom I’ve been a fan of since I was 3
MLB - Rangers (since 1989, the Ryan Express days), As (since the 80s with the Bash Brothers), Indians (no Guardians here)
NHL - Stars, Blackhawks, Golden Knights
Mine is:
NHL: Pens and Leafs
NBA: Celtics
MLB: Red Sox
NFL: Patriots
Why not the Bruins?
Generally, my favourite teams are those from Ottawa-Gatineau, Canada, India and Bengal (a state in India)..
Drilling down to my hardcore fandom, in no particular order, I root for the Senators, Team Canada (hockey), CanMT (soccer), and India (test cricket). Also, hardcore, I root for the Cincinnati Bengals and Oklahoma Sooners (NCAAF).
My fandom is pretty weird for american leagues, Devils(NHL) Broncos(NFL) Heat(NBA) Yankees(MLB) New York Red Bulls(MLS) and Rutgers(College sports).
born & raised in LA, so it's mostly LA for me (kings, dodgers, lakers) and also the chargers, who reside in LA now but did not while i was growing up. someday they'll win a super bowl...
My teams in North American Sports. NHL: Rangers and Bruins. NBA: Lakers. MLB: Yankees. NFL: Ravens
NFL-Green Bay Packers
NHL-All of Jaromir Jagr’s team and now Penguins, Oilers and Bruins.
NHL: Lightning and Islanders
NBA: Magic
MLB: Rays and Mets
NFL: Buccaneers
i’m from Long Island so my teams are rather predictable, Islanders(NHL), The Mets(MLB, they play in Queens which is right there), The Jets(NFL, also used to play in Queens back in the day), the Knicks(idrk any native NYers or Long Islanders who are Nets fans at this point, they lost most when they moved to NJ back in the day), and an NYCFC fan(MLS). Keep up the great work, another great year of
videos. Happy Christmas and to many more!!
Wild
Vikings
Loons (MLS)
Twins
Timberwolves
I don’t watch Basketball and Baseball like ever though
For pro sports, i got the Lightning, Rays (MLB) Cowboys (NFL), Magib (NBA), Orlando City (MLS) but college is UF all the way
Scooter is this u?
In Canada, do they call Vancouver the "Pacific Southwest"?
@@RRaquellonot really
The fact that you lean towards rooting for Texas teams as long as they're not the Cowboys... a man after my own heart!
For me, it’s simple: I root for LA teams.
NBA: Lakers / Clippers
NHL: Kings / (Mighty) Ducks. I do have some soft spots on the most beloved teams, even with Winnipeg getting their team back.
MLB: Dodgers / Angels / Expos / Royals
WNBA: Sparks
NWSL: Angel City FC
MLS: LAFC / LA Galaxy
No NFL team here, though I do have a soft spot for the Lions.
My top 3 sports teams are
1) Minnesota Wild
2) St. Louis Battlehawks
3) Miami Dolphins
It has always been a Ducks and Saints for me, for a guy who lives in SoCal. Ducks since 99 and Saints since 2001. Ducks really because of the movies and also Teemu and Kariya. Saints was more so bc of family. I don’t really have a team for the NBA but I follow religiously. MLB I don’t follow as much as well don’t have a team. Less stress I guess.
I think that for a lot of Canadians not from Toronto or Montreal if they don’t root for the Leafs or Habs as their second team after their local team, then Boston since the Bobby Orr era has been their 2nd team
So happy to know you’re part of Bolt Fam too, Go Chargers!
NHL: T-1: SJ / SEA
MLB: 1. SF; 2. SEA
NFL: 1. SEA; 2. SF
NBA: none until the Sonics are back
MLS: SEA
NCAA: Gonzaga
Have to ask: as an Atlanta sports fan, the most depressing sports city in the world, when we get an Atlanta NHL team again (it is coming, sources have confirmed to me) will you support them?
All Boston teams, BC Football, South Carolina Football, and Tottenham Hotspur.
What about fandom of wrestlers through out the decades?
I'm a homer, so Admirals (therefore Predators), Brewers, Packers, and I guess we have an NBA team too (basketball lol). Blue Bombers in the CFL.
Bucks are Wisconsin’s best team lol
NHL: Habs, Devils, Wild
NBA: Bucks, Trail Blazers, Timberwolves
MLB: Orioles, Red Sox, Twins
NFL: Vikings, Cowboys, 49ers
Cities Shannon cheers for: Boston x 3. Pittsburgh, San Diego, Toronto, San Francisco/Oakland (twin city), and Minneapolis (implied) x 2.
My teams are the canucks, Steelers, orioles, and pacers. Very random. One was inherited while the others are just the worst teams last year because it was funny. I’m doing pretty well let’s just say.
NBA: Rockets, Lakers
NHL: Lightning, Golden Knights
MLB: Astros, D-Backs
NFL: Texans, Buccaneers
I too was taken to the house that Ruth built as a kid and will forever be a fan. 👍
I still think it's funny that the Canucks wear a TD Bank patch.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!! Enjoying the content!!!
NHL Oilers, NBA Heat, NFL Jaguars, MLB Blue Jays or Mariners.
🔥 Bucs Rays Bolts 🔥
don’t have an NBA team but the Spurs and Celtics are okay I guess
Orlando Magic in shambles.
Raptors, Blue Jays, Lions, Red Wings and Winnipeg Jets
NBA - previously Chicago Bulls; don't follow NBA anymore
MLB - Chicago Cubs
NFL - Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos
NHL - New Jersey Devils, previously Chicago Blackhawks (no longer because of Kyle Beach situation); have changed Western Conference teams recently year-to-year from Vegas Golden Knights (my wife's favorite team), Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, will change again next year
My teams are New York Islanders, Giants, Yankees, and Knicks
Rangers, Mets, Jets, Notre Dame, Army. All other teams can feel free to lose.
Mine is so random
NFL - Bills, Lions, Falcons
NBA - Hornets, Pacers, TWolves
MLB - Brewers, Rockies, Padres
NHL - Panthers, Canucks, Senators
CFL?
Textbook Bandwagon Fan
How
NHL: Blue Jackets
NFL: Browns
MLB: Indians(watched all teams though and stopped watching baseball after the 2019 season due to rule changes.)
Perhaps one day I will get to see a team I root for win a championship
For me.
NBA: Mavericks.
NHL: Canucks. Hurricanes.
NFL: Eagles
MLB: Bluejays. Dodgers
nice hearing about your Bengals fandom. Who 🐅 Dey
I wish I was one of those people who can have a 5 teams in every league, but I just can’t.
Seattle or die. (And it’s usually die)
