After all these settings and still not working, I search for more, I finally found that you MUST have "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" enable all 3 ticks. You find this in Control Panel / Programs and Featured / Turn Windows Features on or off / SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support. Now its perfect.

I did this too, still doesn't work. It works fine after the boot, half an hour later it suddenly disconnects and can't access again til the next restart.

I am facing below at one of my client site.
Scenario:- In network I am unable to see some of the computers and able to see some computers. But at the same time, the pc which I am unable to see in network I am able to access via creating shortcut. And able to ping that pc using ip but unable to ping using computer name.

This solved my problem. One PC was showing in another but another not showing in the first PC. I changed services in the PC which was not showing in another and it worked. Big thanks.

Thank you, I have 3 PCs, sometimes they see all, some don't see others, This PC only saw itself, i stopped and started those services and all there now. I must add that the services were running but in manual mode.
in the windows 95 and xp days networking was quite simple, with windows 10 they have complicated it with so many buttons and settings that override one another.

ok in that screen when you chose to share the work file to everyone i dont want to transfer it to everyoe just one computer . but it dosent appear there along with out the other ones in my net work. they appear when i click network i can enter them share stuff but i have to share to the everyone group

Cannot access anonymous file shares after updating to Windows 10 2004 .
I updated my desktop pc for Windows 10 2004 and now I cannot access anonymous file shares any more. Before the update, I enabled the option in the Local Group Policy at:
Computer configuration\administrative templates
etwork\Lanman Workstation
"Enable insecure guest logons"

Before the update everything worked fine but now I cannot access the share.

i can see the computer on other computers on teh network but not on its own network. I have 3 computers on a network, only 1 of the 3 computers show all three.
