Welcome to Weather Watcher Studios!
I’m 17 years old and from North Carolina. Living in the southern United States exposed me to some epic weather events, including massive thunderstorms, tropical storms, and even snow. Watching weather has been my passion for as long as I remember, so in late 2021, I came to RUclips to share my forecasts with all of you. My channel started off slow, but my audience steadily grew as I posted weather forecasts for the United States. Then, as of early 2023, I’ve been living in Western Europe. This brought a whole new perspective to weather that I wouldn’t otherwise have noticed, and my growing interest in European weather brings me to where I am today!

Interesting. Scotland remains cool and wet with the least amount of sunshine hours I can ever recall in a single six month period.

@report-all-potholes-and-ro2712 it's not much better just to the south west of London. I'm still wearing long sleeved shirts to work. Only last weekend did I change winter pyjamas for summer, and the central heating came on a few times at the start of July (it's set to 20 degrees C). I don't think we're going to get a summer this year
@@albalove5152 And here in Bathgate - but, it's better than 40°! Looking at the world and seeing typhoons, volcanoes rumbling, earthquakes rattling, wildfires burning - somehow Scotland seems like not so bad a place to be 😊 Happy summer everyone ❤️
SW Scotland here and the sun an warmth are still with us. This evening around 7 a massive thunderstorm with thunder peels haven't heard likes of since S of France in I think around 2010 or so. But moved off quickly. Watered the garden for me, and bright sun behind it. This channel gives a really good forecast. Thank you 😊
If was possible i give you half of our 39ºC we had these last 3 days in Lisbon, now only 26ºC uff...!

It's the first time this year that I welcome the rain here in Minho, northwest Portugal. It's been too hot and too dry
Many thanks! Here in the foothills of the French Pyrenees it looks like there ma be an overspill from the Iberian peninsula system. Nothing too unusual there. But with a temperature already a degree above 30 C, I shudder at the possibility of adding another 10. Strangely, although we are well up to summer heat. We've had very few thunder storms, although I've heard some occasional rumblings and seen some flashes to the north of the Aude valley.

This storm in the Baltics is no joke. And my local forecasters just said on tv, that this was so unexpectable and they didnt see it coming, although you said about it a few days ago 😂 you are pro

Well, I can do the southwest of the UK for you, if you can hear jets at high altitude, guaranteed RAIN, for all plus we get the fallout of chemicals as well, what a wonderful summer we are having. plus we get to pay for it aswell.

If they are poisoning us with chemtrails then they are poisoning themselves as we all breathe the same air!. What are the ingredients of said chemtrails as nobody has concrete evidence that is official. Only rumours of aluminium and bromide. I see the "chemtrails" as I'm in Cornwall and it's bad...I have plenty of video evidence as do others and I agree after they have sprayed it rains..a lit. Anyone denying this can look up and see what they're doing and if you think it's conspiracy then you are deluded. The conspiracy is they are causing weather modification and cloud seeding. Its disgusting! 🤬
Here in NW Ireland , it was June 2023, the last time we had 3 consecutive days of sunshine. So far this year , cold winds and constant drizzle . Crazy, 2 years without a summer.

As of today, we are pounded with heavy rain and thunderstorms in the middle and north Sweden. Moving east. Very humid. I think it is the same system the Baltics and Finland has today.

One more great forecast, and for me,, a wonderfull perspective of "good weather" ...i will be waiting for it in Lisboa/Lisbon and enjoy it,if nothing destructive happen,like bushfires,many start with lightinings in hot months

Tampere, Finland has seen a string of thunderstorms and heavy rain.
in hungary we have drought , no rain for 1 month, in budapest all weeds are dried out , extrem warm weather for 2 weeks was horrible
Thanks so much for publishing these forecasts. Most weather channels have really dumbed down the descriptions. I live in the French alps and the weather here is upward of 30 degrees followed by massive thunderstorms and torrential rain. Summer often has storm with the buildup of the heat during the day , but this is unprecedented in my 34 years here. It makes leading treks this year especially tricky

yep, 33 degrees for my two hour trip to and from the Doc on Monday here in France. not looking forward to that. Ive never lived in a country where during some sweltering days in the summer you can put wet laundry out at 4pm and it'll be bone dry by 6pm. thank you WW!

Hello! Like I mentioned, details past the weekend are still nebulous. At this point, the biggest impact on France will likely be VERY warm and even hot weather, with severe thunderstorms likely in the interior. Other than isolated flooding induced by heavy thunderstorms, major rainfall doesn’t appear to be a widespread concern in France.

Been one full day of sun in part of Scotland all summer!
Well you were right. We had a bit of rain and thunder this morning near to Serta in central Portugal. Its now 15 30 and its really getting going. Not too much lightening at the moment, but the thunder is rolling over head and it is almost a continual rumble. Thank goodness it has rain with it. Very noisy.
I’m glad there’s so much rain coming in with this activity, it’s helping decrease the fire risk which is awesome. Thanks for coming back and giving your feedback!
It seems like tomorrow for Ireland, it's gonna be miserable with potential thunderstorms in the west and pop up storms are possible in the E. Gonna be interesting to see!

(I live in Spain)
I live in a rural community near Tarbes, SW France. Our forecast for the next week is mid 30s from now until Sunday and then 40-45 degrees Monday to Wednesday, dropping a few degrees back to mid 30s.
We have had several years of 40+ degree heatwaves and we’re not yet in August when most believe it will be 40+ for a few weeks.
Farm animals and pets die from exhaustion, people struggle to stay cool and until the heat breaks in October, it’s a miserable time.
That’s harsh. Heatwaves of this intensity have occurred before, but they aren’t always this extreme.
We also have that kind of forecast further south AFAIK but what worries me is not so much the heat (people complain but I like it warm and even hot) but if the storm may bring floods, all the rest is just a hot day or so.

If it lasts 1-3 days is OK, worrisome would be if such weather would last for weeks and then repeat itself over all the summer and much of spring and autumn, as happened in 2022 (and we survived that, most of us did anyhow, more at risk of freezing air conditioners than actual heat, we evolved in Sudan after all).
@@WeatherWatcher14 The swings from 27-40+ over a day or two, even though they may be sporadic and only last a few days, are dangerous. Nothing thrives in it expect flies and wasps.

Just out of curiosity, what made you start your RUclips channel? Was it a lack of accurate weather reporting for both U.S. while you were there and Europe? It's much appreciated.
Just simply because weather has always been my passion, and I just thought to myself back in 2021: “Why don’t I start a RUclips channel?”
And that’s where I still am today 🙂
As mid-Baltic citizen, my eyes are hooked on any "finalization" of potential system impact areas. With rain amount models are showing (near local records for large areas), it can literally flood fields of ready to harvest crops.
We can hope it’s not as bad as it seems right now, but it looks like an intense system with rain/wind impacts
Why Hungary cant get a normal raining period? 35°C, and 0 rain. It is bad for the corn and for the soy.
Crazy , Because the Portuguese national weather service (IPMA) do not predict any storms not even rain , it show clear skies all over
As a resident of Portugal for over a year, I can confirm that the IPMA is always “late to the party” 🤣

Im in Magala, never mind a blast of rain in the middle of the perfect summer.
Where is our summer? Crummy weather since last October. Wet, cold then windy then autumnal. Can’t believe we’ve had no sun . About two days. Grey skies, so depressing. Yet in Europe it’s hot. We’ve been soaking for weeks
Just a very unfavorable storm track that has been going on since last year, basically
A nice uncommon thunderstorm over the far northern coast of Scotland this eve. Passed over Dunnet Head (mainland Britain’s most northerly point) and onwards to Orkney.
I saw some videos of it on social media, pretty cool!

Geoengineering chaos, that's all anybody needs to know about what is happening with the world's weather. The Met Office admitted it, New Hampshire and Tennessee have banned geoengineering from their air space. All countries should seek to do likewise as it's driving crop failures, pollinating insect die-off and a near-term future of mass starvation.
Are those Iberian storms paired with lot of rain or are they dry?
Could be a little bit of both. I think there may be some dry thunderstorms which could be an issue for the wildfire situation, but I also can’t rule out some heavy rain in other storms

Oh Blimey, I hope you are wrong. I live in Portugal and we are tinder dry. Lightening will be such a danger. We lived through the fires in 2017 an it was horrific, really dont want a repeat, although we have already had large fires so far
I’m in Portugal too, I’m concerned about the lightning causing fires. The 2017 fires were in June and were caused by lightning (I think) and were basically seeing the same setup, just in July… which makes it very strange overall. This country isn’t used to this kind of weather this late in the summer

@@Aperture137 Don’t be ashamed of your own voice. We usually think worse of ourselves than what other people do :) I’d say give it a shot. Then, if you still don’t feel comfortable, I used an AI Text-to-speech website called Amazon Polly back in the early days of my channel.

Great question! It’s because I’m actually from America, but my family moved to Europe. I’m not fully foreign though, half my family is Portuguese 😂 So now I talk about European weather in my videos!

In Ireland and Britain we love to complain about poor Summer weather .... but the fact is that we're "getting away with murder" as we say in Ireland. I hope Spain/Portugal can get some good at least out of the rain on their fields. Thanks again for your excellent channel.
