I loved that standoff with Agravine. No witty one liners, just Merlin standing there being "This is who I am. I will do what I need to do." He was just so quietly confident in himself. It was amazing to watch. :)

GAHHHHHH!!!!! I love this! So powerfully done. You can really get behind Merlin's emotions and the power that he understands he has.
Honestly, this is the best Merlin video I've ever seen. The music mixed with the clips and dialogue was just epic. I can just picture Arthur seeing this and realizing just how awesome Merlin really is. This video shows the real Merlin, the one that is serious and at the same time, troubled by what he is doing to those around him.
The video shows so great how powerful he is, what he did for Arthur, for Camelot! And that's all in less two min! It's fantastic!

Colin is such an awesome actor. He is so believable as the bumbling servant or the powerful magician. I love how this video shows how powerful Merlin really is, and I hope to see Arthur's character realize just how loyal Merlin has been.

It's also the end of the actual Arthurian legend. Arthur dies, and they await his return to become the king they need.
WHAT??! Really?! I always thought the ending was so rushed because it was cancelled!! That's how they wanted it to go from the beginning??!?!?!?! I'm sad that he died, yes, but mostly I wanted Arthur to find out about magic lightyears before, not right before he died - I thought they were just pressed for time. Ugh somehow this is worse now. How did Arthur "unite Albion and bring magic and non-magic together" if he didn't even accept magic until 5 seconds before his death. I'll never understand ;~~~;
I, too, would have liked at least a couple of shows in which they worked side by side with Arthur accepting Merlin for being the powerful ally that he was. It's my biggest gripe.

i always thought that magic was something great, something to be proud of, something that could be admired. seeing this video only proofes me right. what i love most about merlin is that he doesn't define himself by his magic, he doesn't think he's something better than the others - he's just merlin but he believes in himself which is incredibly motivating and inspiring!

I can not get enough of this video. It is flat out Brilliantly made. The emotion in Colin's, is intense!. The music just builds on that emotion, as well!
You can feel his reluctance to reveal himself to Agravaine. But he knows he must in order to follow his destiny to protect Arthur and insure the return of Albion. I see in him, the innocent young man disappear; and a powerful warlock emerge. The Merlin we will see will be more confident in himself, and definately more powerful!
