- When you see just how clean this Durango is you'll know exactly why I filmed it! This 2003 Dodge Durango comes with the 5.9L V8 and was only being sold for just $2900 bucks cash. I knew this car would sell quickly, but it sold the next day after filming it.

Vehicles filmed at Dealerships are For Sale. Make sure to visit the dealerships website for detail info about each vehicle. If your watching a video thats older than 90 days you can expect that vehicle to most likely already being sold, unless its a new car.
FYI - Charleston Car Videos on RUclips Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.
I think I just bought this truck, because it’s in great shape !!im blown away seriously
I found an absolutely gorgeous garage kept 2003 5.9 . Not a speck of dust on anything inside. Someone sold it to the junk yard with a blown engine. Hate to see such a gorgeous truck parted out
0:15 I certainly do, i bought my '01 Durango R/T in 2007 and still have it to this day. Love it to death. Maintenance isn't expensive and it's fun to work on when maintenance is needed, and is quite fun to drive
Robert 2001 Dodge Durango on the original owner and I still have it I have up to a 200,000 miles on that truck and it's still running strong

Thank the Lord my husband can fix about anything :)
We have a 2012 Ram 2500 with 290,000 miles that never left me stranded.
Love first gen Durangos. As long as you take care of them and keep up with maintenance they just keep going lol
Bought myself a 99 Durango maybe e years ago, had 252k miles. V8 4x4, red. Paid $500 cash for it, its in rough condition but it runs and the 4x4 works. Its gonna be my winter vehicle here in IA, my daily driver is a 15' Mustang gt. I've put prolly $2000 into the truck so far and what can I say....I Love my Durango!
My '07 is still running at 170.000 miles, had it for 10 years, very reliable. Only problem is rust! Holes in the bodywork. Frame still looks sound though. Still starts every morning, never let me down, no major expenses. Shame about the rust....
I’m getting a 1999 Dodge Durango V8 SLT and am super excited about it.
The Magnum 5.9 Liter Engines are very dependable engines! The successor to the old LA Short Block 360 cid but with improved oil lubrication of the heads. The only down fall is when they get older they have a tendency of plugging up Catalytic Convertors as they age as they tend to burn oil.
mechanicwarrior20 they don’t tend to burn oil but ok
Usually the reason the 5.9 and 5.2 magnum engines used oil was because of the intake plenum gasket blowing out. I have 2 rams, a 98 with the 5.2, 173k and uses just half a quart between 5k oil changes. My 99 with the 5.9 has 229k, same as the 5.2 it uses half a quart between 5k oil changes. Before I did the plenum gasket on both those engines they used 1 quart every 1000 miles.
Yep upgraded Hughes plenum gasket these engines are more robust especially lower end than a small block Chevy
I'm picked an 02 with only 68K miles next week.
Yeah baby..
98 Durango 130000 miles still running strong
Its all on how you keep any car or truck up that the main key 🔑 🔑 🔑
Thank you it’s just people who don’t do maintenance and the car doesn’t like that so they defame the brand of the car they didn’t maintain
Whats funny 🤣 all our families and even mine. Any GM or Ford product we get, gives us issues. Chrysler/Dodge/fiat no issues. Im the 4th owner of my Durango (99) in my family.. first to ever change the shocks this month, brake calipers, rear dif seal, wheel bearings. 250k+ miles. Original motor, but will admit 2nd tranny, first went about 200k mark. And your right, before hemi was a Magnum
There's something wrong with it because mine would blow that thing away put a cold air intake filter on it and a tune up that will help wonders
Last year for the 1st-gen Durango, last year for the 5.9L V8... last year for a true classic. :) Having owned Jeep Grand Cherokees over the years (of every generation), they're great vehicles. Like any other vehicle, you just have to look over it before you buy it so you know what you're getting. If you think you don't need the extra warranty, you may as well go ahead and get it, especially if a vehicle is older such as this one. That's just my 2 cents on the situation.
I managed to lay my hands on a 01almost zero rust. Interior is immaculate. A very strong 4.7. wait for it. I paid 650.00 for it
I’ve got a 2001 best truck ever we’ve had it in our family since it was built it’s only broke down once
I have a 1999 Durango with 300k miles got for less than 900 had it for 5 years runs great it's a 5.2 tho
Great videos man. Keep them coming! Subscribed
Fatlind Jashari oh ya just great
This guy is good he was selling me a ride and didn't even know it
If it's a 5.9 it's a keeper
There is something wrong with that Durango the 5.9 and 5.2 and 4.7 liter V8 all have tons of power the dealer might wanna get that engine checked out because I drove all of them V8 in Jeep's and Durango's and none of them had any problem kick down and had more then enough horsepower and plenty of torque
My 99 4wd 5.2 318 and it fly's plenty of power n its got 289.000 on the original motor n transmission .don't burn any oil the key to not haveing tranny probs in a newer dodge
Is change filter n refill it with arf+4 fluid n u won't have probs .never had probs out of 904s or727s in the day
That bright fire engine red paint job would be a deal breaker for me on any vehicle.
I just bought a 2000 Durango R/T 4x4 with 131k cleaner than that one for 2200 cash lol
A couple years back I had rental which is Dodge avenger 2012 man it looked nice but let me tell you it got the worst gas milage I've ever seen only time I ever see get good gas mileage was on the highway. I think the only thing I liked about it was the sound system it had that bass and clarity of a good sound cause years back my mom had a Jeep liberty it was good SUV but had problems but I guess the I like the sound system in it idk what else.
2001 Dodge Durango R/T
Red...summer driven only
96000 km..59000 miles
My dad has had a doge ram for 15 years soo they are pretty good
The trans wasn't down shifting when you stepped on it
Dude he was complelety bullshiting. He barley gave it gas. He a d the dealer knows what's really wrong with it. If he floored it i bet anything that check engine light would have started blinking. Yeah that truck would have actually moved ALOT ...he was hiding shit. Topical salesmen
I have a 2001 Dodge Durango SLT Plus on the original owner of that vehicle has the max tow package and it has 200,000 miles now on it as a 4.7 high output motor I bought a brand new spanking brand new and I still have it
Some times if you wont what a old motors got you have to be close to flooding it these are nice trucks and I agree a lot of vehicles were made a lot better back in those years they were just more solid and better running and I think they even locked a lot better👍
I had to to change my number u know how I feel about Randy Leach jug in Lyons mo
I like that looks clean I love it
😂😆😂 He said stay away from the dodges how about you stop selling people busted down cars
I just bought a 1998 Dodge Durango v8 4x4 wit only 64k. Mint aha
Thank for this
I got a 4.7 03 durango with 109k miles on it. It’s about as clean as this one but I live in Michigan so there is some rust on the tow package
Just turned 360,000 miles on my '01 4.7L Durango...still runs great and its still solid..engine and trans have not been overhauled. You need to drive yours more.
Most dodges do suck but the first gen durangos and Dakotas are probably the best things to come out of the late 90s early 2000s out of all the big 3.
05 Durango 270,000 miles had to put a rear end in it.
That model Durango isn't bad, they just have terrible transmissions and computers.
Yea so you do wanna stay away from the fiat dodges - the avengers. the renegades, the darts - theyre all plastic turbod pos's.
However, all I own are dodges: I own a 2000 dakota 4.7, a 2002 durango 4.7 and a 2015 challenger RT. The reason I own these is because I know how reliable they are, your customers are buying trash and complaining when it stinks.
My trucks have over 180k original transmission and engine and run as strong (probably stonger) as when they were new.
The challenger has almost no miles on it, so I cant really tell you much but I paid more than 2200 bucks for it.
do u still have that vehicle
Now and couple years back I drove Ford's and Chevy's Kia's and now ha e a Nissan it's pretty good car but idk maybe next car in a few years will be a Toyota.
The one you're pointing at that's a caliber.. not an avenger. You have a lot of knowledge on Dodge's
Amigo yo tengo una durango 2000, para andar en carretera en qué posición pongo el 4x4? Opciones: 4LO LOCK, N, 4WD, 4HI LOCK
En el 4 hi amigo
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🐖🐖👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We had a great Dodge Ram for years... we now own a Chevy Silverado and got my daughter a Chevy Cruze. Nothing against Dodge.
It kills me that you still are giving that store free advertising. I feel for you & Mrs Nicole.
Also, on your next live can you mod up us mods to keep this channel professional?!?😉
This guys a fool saying his cars are junk plus he called a dodge cabiler a avenger lol
All’s I can say about the Dodge Durango is I have had two of them the first one was like the one your showing now and it was a great little truck, my new one is a 2002 R/T 5.9 and it’s a great little truck as well so not all Dodge,s are POS
Jeeps with the 4.0 bulletproof vehicles
That's cause they aren't a Chrysler product
My dads 2005 was the complete opposite he does NOT know how to take care of a car😂
9:47 chime
20002 DUNGO SDLO 2010 CHVEY COBALT
In a dodge that mileage is why it isn't selling
My mom used to have one
Jeeps are amazing no problems with them
That’s my car
Called your customer stupid haha.. I used to be a car salesman. And you shouldn't be anymore.
Drive time sold me a 2015 Honda coupe with a bad motor and crazy part is that if you miss 1 payment you have to pay the whole car off and they warnties are shit stay tf away from drive time
Please test rear wipers. Please
An old rear wheel drive SUV with a huge engine (5.9L) no surprise people are not interested... sorry...
It is a 2002 Dodge Durango,
Lol so much talking i forgot I clicked the video to see the durango haha
2003 Dodge Durango SLT
Great video
Every car is shit if you don't take care of it most brake downs are cause people don't maintenance there cars or trucks they just drive them till they crap out I have work on everything for last 40 years and most of the time it people that don't take care of there vehicles that have the problems if you do proper maintenance on your vehicle it almost never has problems
As a Mopar guy. Chrysler (FCA) product are the worst automaker
Up between the grill
Check out my 1999 5.9L Magnum Durango on my channel. About 200K miles.
Btw its a 5.2
Since fiat took over that company got worse
Hmmmm check engine light, high miles, no wonder it hasn't sold. Way to high of miles to take that risk
Caliber
Dodge is fine, they break because nobody ever checks anything like oh i duuno fluids and filters n stuff😂😂😂 every dodge ive owned has been used and abused horribly, so I get em cheap and do proper maintenance, and theyve lasted and lasted and lasted!
Case in point the 4.7 and 3.7 are the most infamous Chrysler engines from 2000 untill they quit making them, mine has 300k on it, still runs like new and gets 20 mpg highway at sea level! Thats 2 mpg above the factory sticker! Its been my daily in Alaska for 6 years, 80° days in summer, -50° days in winter, its never let me down ever. And it still books for 6,500. In good shape! In Alaska if you dont have a good reliable 4×4 truck you could literally die before help arrives.
I am a Dodge tech for the last 40 years, the engines take specific fluids, most folks dont know what atf+4 is, or hoat coolant or oat coolant that is only for dodge, you cant put green coolant in a dodge! If you look at one to buy and it has green coolant , run! Unless its a pre 2000 engine then its fine.
Then theres the valvetrain problems like dropped seats, most of this is caused by overheating the heads, and that is caused by not bleeding the cooling system properly. You cant just fill up a dodge and run it, wait for the thermostat to open then top off like the old days, it must be bled through the bleeder to be sure that there is no air in the system before extended run time( usually vacuum bled or pressure bled)
The transmissions arent bad eithier, maybe change fluid and filters on schedule instead of driving till it breaks and costs 5- 10k to replace😂😂😂😂
Not 17 years later. Only 16
MKEL03 model years usually come out the year before, so an ‘03 is from the middle of 2002
Anyone who buys a small GM or Front Wheel Dr., Chrysler car gets what they deserve but do not link on Chrysler’s into that category the trucks are excellent my Dakotas were excellent some even hit 200,000 miles don’t limp everything together it makes you look stupid
Bottom line is all manufacturers make good and or make junk it’s up to you as a consumer to do the research to figure out what is good and what is not I would take a Silverado ram or an F1 50 no problems I would not buy a cobalt a PT cruiser or a festival in anything with the CVT transmission is crap my mom has a Nissan believe me I don’t see it lasting sorry for the rant
well said and your right. those CVT's are shit on any brand car.
Nope. Mine is in cleaner, older, and only 77k miles right now
I love Dodge
No I saw one with 200 thousand miles gray in great shape for 3600 but I think price is high
No radiator cap????
No I think it was sold just like this. From what I think I noticed that day was the radiator cap was okay. the cap that was broken was the radiator reserve tank cap. I'm sure its a simple fix for less than $10 bucks to get at a autozone etc.
Thats cause you sell shit its not the dodge its the seller me 2001 have 355000 still runs perfect and my 98 went 500000 maybe you should check the shit you sell better
I have mines is cleaner then that 4.7 v8
A car is like a woman, you need to check the oil every now and then... maintenance... if you don't do that the car will broke down... I had a Chrysler 01 300M for almost 7 years, never had a problem, I changed it for a 98 Durango v8 5.9(off-road project)...
Don't buy a Chevy Ford Toyota Nissan
Or it had a 4.7 which is junk
My 03 is cleaner 😄😄😄
Lmao i have 2 2001 year models that are better then this
Thats because of high milés. And abuse and there sll sbove😅😅1ooooo grad 7:28 ?
LoL... Doesn't say a lot about your dealership when you sell someone a vehicle and it is already broke down a week later. Love those dishonest money grabbing Americans...
And the Durango is a gas hog! I bought one just like it brand new in 03
Mine uses more gass at the stop signs going through towns than it does having her fun in the woods.. i was surprised
Dodge and Chrysler..pretty much anything made by FCA..is absolute trash once they age more than 5 years
I had an 04 Ram that I got rid of early this year - worst piece of stool I’ve ever owned - expensive repairs every month and it was never ever right
Rigo Hinojosa I love the Dodge Ram but 2004 was not the best year for the Dodge Ram. That year seemed to be the most problematic at least in my experience at least.
2.7, 3.7 and 4.7 dodge engines are junk
You're crazy the 3.7 is bulletproof. Take care of your cars.
Mine 4.7 with 216k miles is pretty strong
...but just replaced transmission
I have one 4.7 with 150000 just bought it for 2900.00 excellent condition the family took care of it.
The 4.7 are the most reliable its a reason they went to it ! Ive had both 4.7 an 5.9 sure the 5.9 is stronger but it broke my 4.7 is still kicking!! I tore the drive shaft out out of the 4.7 picked it up off the road switched in to 4x4 an went home fixed it next day with a junkyard shaft yiu cant kill them.. Looking at suvs of today ill never sell it nit to mention the all metal front bumper they won't do that again! I laugh when i see comments like yours because all all the 5.2s and 5.9s are in the junkyard 😂.... Good luck the winters i never use 4x4 theres no reason but if i need it its there you can get them stuck! My only complaint which isn't one is mileage but i went an got a civic so im cool a winter beast an a hot girl summer getter 🙌🏾💪🏾
What the hell did i clock this for?!
You talk to much !
