Good observation, the www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/pulse_width_pwm_controller_driver.html has a (Fine) center knob control just for that. This control adjusts to the different inductive loads. All you do is adjust the lower end and the rest calibrates itself. It's mostly trouble free.

Could you control the CVT in a Honda insight 2002 model with this device. ""Goal"" what I want to do is get the car going 60 mph go down a hill so the car is in extreme high range in the CVT. Then use your device to have it stay in that high rangeuntil I see fit to let the car run off the computer.The CVT very ratios so much it is not efficient it needs to stay in hi range only like a five or six speed manual. If there is a communication gap on what I'm trying to achieve let's talk more hopeful customer.

Two entirely different animals. The power probe has its place in diagnostics, but the PWM Bi Controller actuates components exactly like the ECM, PCM, ABS, TCM, etc does. It can also be used to control/ test other modules. Say a fuel pump module ECM TRIGGER square wave input, the PWM can do it. Plus, you can't use the probe to pulse say a CAM solenoid to the CAM Timing, the PWM can do it. Plus AC compressors, Transmission solenoids and pressure solenoids, etc. See the webpage for more.
