I'll stick to my headlight & brake light test lights. That beep is annoying AF.

The www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/Stress_Loaded_Tester.html puts 6 Amps of current on a timer at 1 to 12 seconds.
The LoadPro only applies 0.5 Amps of current. That's not nearly enough to stress a circuit properly. This is why I decided to put this gadget on the market, since this need is definitely not being fulfilled. It was actually in my book "Make your own diagnostic equipment" for years. Now, offer 1 1/2 years if testing, it's finally out.

These videos are great but why do they all look like they were made in the mid 90's? :D

www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/Stress_Loaded_Tester.html Not only were they made in 2019, their content is nowhere to be found. These videos are not made ignorantia divina absolutos though, it's for smart people.

@@ADPTraining it looks great but simply out of price range for most diyrs,in this case whats a cost effective method?just having a bag of different bulbs?
or how about a decade box?could this be used to create a desired load to voltage drop test a wire?

  • @chekelley6861

If you need to use a DVOM in conjunction with this instrument, you may as well just use the DVOM to do a normal voltage drop test lol

No, no, no... Using the www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/Stress_Loaded_Tester.html you reveal the ISSUE by stressing the circuit. EXAMPLE: If you connect a blower motor to 12v using one strand of wire, you'll see 12v with the voltmeter. But NOT ENOUGH CURRENT.

This product might be good but your explanation wasn’t! You should write something and then read it. Or hire someone to showcase the product. I would add a few features, adjustable amperage so I can choose and timing, a screen that shows me the values (Voltage and amperage). Otherwise for this, I can use a test light with same results.

The www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/Stress_Loaded_Tester.html is the only product of its kind on the market, at least today. Your comment ignores many things. Current can not be controlled with a knob. Current or Amps are controlled by the load or whatever circuit you're testing. The alternative to this tool is rig a headlight and not very accurate. I suggest you purchase some of our Ebooks and get trained on automotive technology.
