Understand I’m not a lawyer nor have I played one in a movie the things I talk about in my videos are strictly for conversation or entertainment purposes only!
CT380... Slimmer, more comfortable in the hand, shoots Great!!! I've been carrying one for about 6yrs now...
I own both. The CT380 frustrated me out of the gates, but after I put about 60 rounds through it all of my gripes had been quashed. The 42 is basically the Honda Civic of Guns. Old reliable. But I find myself carrying the CT380 more often. They are about equal with a slight advantage to the Glock for the single spring slide. But if you aren’t a noob with a limp wrist you might prefer the Kahr.
Thanks for making this video truly helpful with my decision
Just ordered the Ct 380 for $221. I thought the price was very good, and the pistol has decent reviews. I was hard pressed to find a better value in the 380 world.
+dccmadams44 good buy and thank you for the comment
Great price. Where'd you find it for so cheap?
Nice comparison, well done. Had both, kept CT 380 and that smaller button with pocket carry is less apt to drop the mag this turning the gun into a single shot item!
Found CT trigger better too. Thanks. JC
I went with the Kahr CT 380. Felt better overall. I did go for the Tungsten version of the Kahr. With this you get a second magazine, a hard case, and a Tungsten cerakote slide. Same price as the two tone CT 380. Dont know why it is, but it is. Negates a few of the Perceived Glock advantages.
+ironhorse127 thank you for your info
Just picked up my CT380 Tungsten, but I've been interested to see how these two stacked up side by side. Thank you for the video.
+shamgar86 not a prob
Hope to get you as a sub if your not already
I have the CT380 , very slim no printing IWB. With a mag-guts kit you can make it 8+1. a hogue wrap around sleeve helps substantially from the aggressive stippling. I used shoe-goo inside the hogue grip so it doesn't slide around when practicing and glue peels right off if you decide to remove it. Using winchesters white box for deep penetration. Overall very happy with it.
+mentalsplice thank you for the Data
I chose the Kahr. I like Glocks but the Kahr is smaller for concealed carry. Love it so far & is reliable. Also not difficult to break down & clean.
+Scott Little thank you for the feed back
Someone's been watching walking dead
+GoldHunter606 yes I have
A better way to present these firearms and to increase viewership is to create a “pocket guns” album. Everybody always spends so much time on just the gun. I wish people spend more time on what works better for pocket carry ? G42 or Kahr.
Might be a better way to really chat them up. Cheers
Right on good comment
I also carry the Tungsten CT380.Mine has tritium night sights, and my magazines all have Magguts inserts. That gives me a pocket .380 with 8+1 rounds aboard. I like Glocks, but the Kahr is a better shooting gun and has the adantage in my case, of holding NINE rounds. That is very good for a pocket gun. I carry mine in a leather pocket holster in my right front pocket and extra 8 round mags in my left. I also have Talon rubberized grip tape on the gun. I am part of a church security team and this gun is ideal for plain clothes carry.
Thank you for the comment
All of the Kahrs I have carried felt great.
I own 3 Kahr's, one Glock 19 which never gets shot and many other options. I would go for the CT380, I feel safer with the Kahr trigger, less chance of accident with holster withdrawal or reinsertion.
Thank you for the comment hope to get you as a sub if you’re not already
I just picked up the Glock 42... it’s a smooth shooter.
Thank you for the feedback
Glock 42 goes bang kahrs go jam
I like the walking dead reference lol
+Arlen Leffmann love that show
And if you like that show I strongly recommend checking out the book
day by day Armageddon
It's in audio form on RUclips (very good in audio)
There's not many books I can chew up in one sitting but that book series is so good I went through the whole five book series in like a week
right on. I'll check it out
Im a Glock guy .. But I had a opportunity to shoot the CT380
Great pistol ..
Thank you for the comment
GLOCK because of accessories. They both appear to serve their purpose.
Academy has the Kahr right now for $229.99 I am very tempted to add to cart....
Let me know if you wind up getting it and what you think of it
I couldn't get past the easy street song. That's where you lost me....
Which one feels the best in the pocket?
Glock
@@CRSFirearms Since the Kahr is shorter and slimmer, that surprises me!
It’s got the big lever on the side if you’re right handed I will Dig in to you
CRS Firearms Even if it’s in a holster? Such as a Sticky holster?
No the holster would remedy the problem
But to me these are more pocket guns
I own the g42 . Will not carry this weapon. Totally unreliable, piece of crap. Stove pipes galore. Shot a round off one night to scare off a racoon and went to top off the mag and still had 6 rounds in it. Got the xde for carry. Much better.
Thank you for the comment good information
You can't limp wrist this pistol. I have shot hundreds of rounds through my Glock 42 without one single malfunction! However, I let my nephew shoot it and it jammed on him twice within 6 rounds. He was limp wristing it. There are several videos on youtube that point this out. There is one video in particular where the guy shooting it purposely limp wrists it to show that it will jam. Then, he shoots it without limp writing it, and it never misses a beat. The Glock 42 is probably the most reliable pistol I own.
