As she ages, her voice may be deteriorating but we will always be able to witness the perfection of her song. This is my FAVORITE Celine song of all time... Being her biggest fan, that's a HUGE decision to make. She did amazing!!! Of course. I only got to see her here in the states, so I missed the wonderful opportunity to hear her sing this live. I LOVED THIS

this song was popular like 15 years ago and she can still sing it! wow, CÉLINE! you take such great care of yourself, and it really shows. and i am sorry, the other divas (mariah, whitney), as good as they once were, have now fallen. all pale in comparison to CÉLINE...even the new wannabes (christina, kelly). this woman is a SINGING MACHINE!
I strongly believe she can hit every note right now, because her voice is better than ever. It just has less passion, I guess and she tries to keep herself protected.
It seems like so many of her best songs get sidelined for the bigger ones like All By Myself and MHWGO. She has so many gems on her albums that never really get any attention, by her or anyone else. In His Touch from One Heart is one of her best songs and I'm pretty sure that she never sang it live. Miles to Go is another great one!
the passion is in every note that still comes out of her body! but yeah I miss the growl too on the NO NO NO part, I'm sure she can still "do" it, I just figure that type of growling technique when a singer is singing is probably risky on their vocal cords, but on Taking Chances CD, "The Woman in Me" has so much rasp and growl that it seems like it would be damaging as well
If she still sang THE NOTE live, it would get to me, but she hasn't for a while now. So it's usually the same every time for me..old videos of it get to me. I get chill bumps watching videos when she first started singing it. I'm watching Une Seule Fois now and just loving all of the old songs she is singing, even if they are french lol!

Because the majority of people want to hear MHWGO, Power of Love, ALL By Myself and so forth. I could name TONS of old songs I prefer over those. Just Walk Away...that had SOO much potential and it was basically put to the side :( I think it is beautiful! Miles To Go, Us, I Don't Know, In His Touch, Reveal, Think Twice, Right Next To The Right One, I Got Nothing Left (not that old but still) are just a few of my favorites lol. I mean, All By Myself doesn't get to me anymore...
and she did perform it live during the Taking Chances tour somewhere overseas if you search it out here you'll find it I've seen it on here before, it was AMAZING to see her do it live, but I guess it's very challenging because she didn't continue it throughout her tour
