I had the privilege of meeting this man and having drinks with him. may you rest in peace Arnold you had the best Styles and outfits every day on the course even till this day no one has the flare that you had you was always looking good no matter what rest in peace Arnold
Mr. Palmer loved the game of golf and helped transform the domain of the game from the elite privileged to the everyman through his great charisma , athletic manner of attacking the courses , and being an ambassador to help spread this great Game around the World. He was a Champion as a golfer and even a better man. Arnold really loved people and they loved him. He is an inspiration to millions and will remain so for many eons. I loved the man and really am touched by how sentimental he was about Golf and his love of the game. Everyone alive today can thank Mr. Palmer for everything he has done, especially inspiring milliions- especially youngsters- to take up the game . The game of Golf. The game of Life.
@@TheSystemIsGhey When it comes to character on and off the course, no one was better. No one was more of an influence to all ages like Arnold was. Arnold was never about Arnold and what the world could do for him and his ego. He truly loved people and treated them like friends when he met them. He never brushed people off when they wanted an autograph. Golf may miss Tiger when he's done, but the whole golf world will never forget Arnold because of who he was.
Surprised they didn’t cover the one senior tournament where in one round got an ace on a particular par 3. The very next day on the same par 3 score another ace🤣🤣🤣 how many players in history have done that
Arnold Palmer played better golf at 85 than most people will ever play.
You are correct!!
He shot a 71 at 71 that’ll really put a dent in your pride if you’re an amateur golfer

I had that pleasure a few times as well as poking around Latrobe CC and Bay Hill. He never never gave up!
Amazing he was born in 1929 and in his 70’s had a game most 20 year olds wish they had

I saw him shot 66 on his 66th birthday in 1995 at Inglewood in Kenmore WA. I think it was the GTE Classic.
