I started making music at age 9. I’m 38 now and getting back into writing music. All this new technology is amazing to me.

you can use EZ drummer's power even faster to create a complete drum track . its so easy and the drum parts can always be altered off course. we start with basic knowledge of the program, it is made up of midi files, and you can us just one one of these midi files to create an entire song based on the beat you chose, it is really inspirational and supereasy....ok lets start: i always like to start my tracks with a count off so i'll set this first...next, choose a cool part , (verse or chorus or whatever) then, at the bottom of EZ drummer you see 'song creator' click on that, the program will then tell you where to drop the midi file of your choosing, do so.......Now EZ drummer will show you all parts that are related to the part you chose but on the left side you have ' song structures' they are ranked from very basic to somewhat complex.... you can even listen to the structures before using one.....Now choose one of your liking and drag the structure into your DAW and place it right after the count in et voila it's that easy

It's a great riff and songwriting tool, and fairly easy to use (no pun intended!)

Awesome lesson Jason! 🎥🎵 Definitely like using drum grooves to *get creative* and see what riffs I can come up with as well as practice playing in time.

Yeah playing along with some double bass is much more inspiring than a click track

I mainly try to put the drum tracks together and then practice on all of them put together. Problem is that I practice some ideas before I record it. When I play something that sounds good and want to record that I already forgot how I played it.

Maybe doing each piece separate is a better approach haha😂

Yeah it's good to record each riff as you go...so many forgotten riffs floating around out there! lol

Eh buddy when you record to reaper at 140 what happens if your beats change to a different bpm some like say you want 20 different time changes in your song do u have to mark them all in reaper or is their some sort of bypass option?
