- Super 8 movie made in 1974 by Tom Hearn and Legs McNeil for an "independent study" class created for them by teacher Mel Blake, because they kept on skipping class to make 8mm movies.
Starring Bob Nethery and featuring the principal, Robert Mischler, with cameos by lots of mid-seventies CHS students.
Music from "Mister Guitar" by Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith and his Crackerjacks. Available on iTunes.

Great job. As a graduate in the early seventies I found it hysterical. Also, loved remembering how teen boys looked like men with their sideburns. Teen boys definitely don't look like that nowadays!
CHS class of 2007 reporting in. Great movie I loved it. It is amazing how much is still currently similar to the school at that time.
i'm chs class of 2021 snd it looks almost exactly the same
no way
Congrats on graduating this year !! 🥳🥳 I’m class of 2020 (not chs tho)

As a CHS alum (Class of 2000), this was a very cool piece of history for me!
I had Mr. Blake as a teacher. He was great. Loved his Audio/Visual class.
i use to keep my schnapps in the foam tile ceiling just above my locker, all my buddies knew it and some times Id go to an empty bottle!
This is so cute. I'm from the class of 1979, but as a Jr. In 1974, I remember alot of the things depicted here. I am saddened that Bob passed away. Warmest regards from Canada.
LOVED this!!
At first I thought "Flirtin With Disaster" by Molly Hatchet was starting to play.
Shit, I wanna go to that party! Looks like my kinda good time.
You son did a great job with the editing. I am happy you like the movie transfer job. Best Regards, Mike Ross Ross Imaging Center
