    So what have we learned today?
    -I forgot to mention these ships can be summoned at outposts.
    - If you crouch at the right angle you can access in the inner most box on the 135c back bay.
    -its small enough to make it an exceptional snub ship. Fitting where comparable ships cannot and outclassing most ships that can fit.

      I will add that they are pretty sticky to the ground compared to to 300 serie when in strong wind on a Microtech moon.
      I never had one blown away, while the 300 serie is a paper leaf

    The fuel recapturing was the big reason I held onto my 135c. If they remove that feature from the ships I will personally be roiting lol.

    Something that the 135c is great for is being a loot-goblin ship. If you're really careful, you can get a 2SCU inventory box into the inside grid. Another 2 of the same size boxes into the back, and if you crouch and aim carefully, you can even access the middle box without having to rearrange everything. Suddenly you've got a really small ship able to carry an extra 6 SCU worth of loot. When they eventually add in scanner-shielded crates, it would also make a perfect little smuggling ship. If you wanted to get creative but without getting on the wrong side of the law, you could set yourself up as a specialized stealth courier similar in concept to a sleeper car. Who's going to suspect high-value documents/cargo on what essentially looks like the space version of a glamping camper for those who pack too much for camping lol. Also, instead of strafing when approaching some hills or such, treat it like a ramp and pitch up and boost forward instead. It's a fun little quirk of the 100 series lol.

    Thanks for the great video. o7 I made a post on Spectrum with a lot of ideas for the 100 series. It seem very odd to me that they're described as the "entry level" Origin ship intended to be less expensive than the 300 series and, well, it's really not. Limo variant, etc, and a proper interior rework for the base & all variants would make the series actually worth their price tags. Regardless, their interiors need a rework and my concern is that CIG won't do it, but instead just sunset these fancy aluminum shipping crates with a bed and sell a "mark 2" that's made properly. 😔

      Alternatively I would pay to customize it. Like with the 300i. It's a great touch and would go a long way with the 100 series. Wooden finish, better prison bunk, cocktail fridge...

    • @FrazzleCat
      @FrazzleCat Месяц назад +2

      @@nilsgerdes6747 Yeah that too, 100%. It needs an internal rework and some new variants, but the ability to customize the interior would be nice and I think that I actually suggested that in my Spectrum post. OTOH, the way that the 300 works means that you lose the items if you CCU the ship. They don't go into your inventory (coffee maker, paint, that sort of stuff). That's not so cool. I've rebought customizations for the 300 series I think twice now.

    What's this? No bloopers? You're getting better 😁
    I went straight for the 315p, my goal to use it as a smuggler: fast, nimble, can park anywhere and it's small, so you can claim it everywhere. I did the exact same thing as you: marvel at the entrance! Big chunky door and a set of stairs! I hate that about the 300 series: very luxurious, has an instant pot and fridge etc in it, champagne BUT you enter it via a blasted ladder! like a chump! It's like having an Aston Martin and you climb in through the boot. At least make it an elevator.
    Origin is a german company (origin GmbH) and the front design are reminiscent of many german concept cars, specially BMW and Audi. Very posh and expensive and also much lying! Car companies are a big deal here and they seem to get away with murder. Like VW faking exhaust tests. Or mercedes pumping more air through the exhaust to lower it's concentration. And Origin claiming you can fly for a long time but being bottom of the list. So it's probably not a bug, it's canon to the real world!
    Also the "Face", I did see it as well but never realized it had a mouth! I'm placing a doughnut there from now on. For good luck.
    In the end, you'll get this ship, not because it's the best or cheapest, you get it because you want it. Also like audi or bmw.
    I would like to point out, that your videos are very structured and you tick all the boxes: taking a look out side "here's the entrance, but we'll get to that later", details, taking off with the doors CLOSED (seriously, why do so few people do that? Too cool for doors? Looks goofy and I always hope for someone to fall out), showing animations, all after giving a short summary of the lore and what the ship actually is supposed to be. You're nailing all that.
    Now excuse me while I vent the bodies out of my cargo 100i. Don't ask why they're all naked.
    o7 Red!

    • @Reds_Resort
      @Reds_Resort  Месяц назад +1

      Hahahaha. Man these comments are just the best dude honestly. Ngl I mostly don't remember the doors until I get to pilot seat. Can't have drag on my ship, I live on crusader, I have enough gravity to deal with without making it worse.
      Your comparison with the German car manufacturers is spot on. Definitely been an inspiration there both in terms of design and lore.
      Oh and there were bloopers, but you've got to realise that I can only show the mild ones, most of the time it would just be a continuous bleep tone 😂.

    • @nilsgerdes6747
      @nilsgerdes6747 Месяц назад +1

      @@Reds_Resort Yes, the drag! I hope at some point they will implement that, too. But that just might be too much simulation.
      I've been front row in Rammstein, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson and Immortal concerts with no plugs and got tinnitus: I don't hear bleeps, I hear ALL
      Here's a bonus from the german car industry: If you have to take an audi driver down a peg, let them know that their car is just an expensive VW. It pisses them off because it is largely true! Works for porsche as well. That's why I drive Skoda: it's a cheap VW 😁And when you see a Mini, it's actually a BMW. Globalization is fun!

    I wouldn't try putting a vehicle in there, even something as small as the pulse. The physics of bikes is insane and trying to squeeze it in is a good way to explode your ship.
    Also another selling point is that the 100 and Pisces series are both small enough that you can summon them at the outpost vehicle pads making them a good emergency backup.

    In general I don't think these kinds of craft are of any interest. They are lovely. Great buys in-game. Outside would only make sense as part of a starter kit or cheap warbond. I love the 315p and 400i and the 100-series is just a bit too small to my taste. Still have to explore the 85 and the 50, though. Other opinions may vary. Anyone stepping down from a big ship and making these a daily driver, I can understand. Even though I wouldn't do the same. o7

      The value comes not from the fact that it is functionally superior to similarly priced starters like the Titan, but that unlike the Titan it can easilly be used as a snub in many subcapital ships whike retaining some utility and certainly aestbetic advantages over other shios of its size. Add in that it is the only ship its size with interceptor tuning, and its dual size 3s outrange and out dps tge dual size 1 or size 2s of half of its competition, it all adds up to be a highly valuable starter package especially on warbond. 125 and 135 are obvious upgrades to make once owned of course, and if one if tbose happens to catch a warbond themself one day, all the better. No matter what, amazing in game purchases for what they are.

      @@ParagonFangXen the 100 series has only improved with MM. It doesn’t have the shield/ HP/ cargo of a titan, but it’s just as fast while having the pitch, yaw and roll of a light fighter. Its ability to control a fight is seconded only by snub fighters because it can book and zoom while still being able to turn and attack its target.
