Ultimately, pricing is not about the number of hours it takes you to do the work. Pricing should be based on giving a client a desired outcome at a price that you both agree on. I would give the client a price range (not a range of hours) and charge the minimum range.
Hi Yvonne. Thanks for the feedback. That's great! I hope that works well for you. I gave a fixed price for several years but recently changed to giving client a range. I don't exceed the upper limit of that range.
Hello, Miss Veronica. This is Rickey Hughes. I have just watched your most recent video about QuickBooks Online Cleanup. I believe I could understand how much you would charge a client when it has to do with doing the bookkeeping. I, myself, was trained by a CPA on how much to charge a client. Although I have learned this when I took up a Bookkeeping and Accounting course, I thought about charging a client 50 cents for every transaction. Also, the reason I thought about doing it this way, is just that I don't trust myself about charging a client by the hour. Hopefully, I will explain why sometime in the near future. Anyway, if I were to charge a client 50 cents for every transaction, what would you think? My desire is also not to charge a client too much. Please let me know what you think. Hopefully, I will hear from you soon if possible. That is all. Thank you for sharing this video.
Hi Rickey. I used to count the number of transactions to provide clients with pricing. It worked well for a while but I found it too time consuming in the long-run. I don't know whether 50 cents is enough or not. But, ultimately, you'll know when you look at how much you charged compared to the time and effort it took to do the work for that client. As for not wanting to charge clients too much - you should charge for the value that you provide a client. You deserve to be paid for your valuable services.
Thank you for making these videos ❤
Glad you like them!
I think I see what you mean. Thank you.
You're welcome Rickey.
Amazing video well done Happy New Year 😊😊❤️❤️👍👍
Thanks!
What if I give a range of hours for the cleanup and it didn’t take as long as the minimum hours I suggested?

5 Minute Bookkeeping thank you!! Makes perfect sense.
I would give a Fix Price !

@@5MinuteBookkeeping , Thanks for your reply, I will offer a range as well. 🌺
Great for the video. Pricing is my least favorite activity.
Thank you. Pricing used to really stress me out. I have since developed simple methods for pricing and I try to spend as little as possible on it.
