@@BobandBrad Your very welcome. I am from England. Your videos are so welcomed and are extremely enlightening. I can tell you both are great at what you trained for. So knowledgeable. Wishing you two the very best. Thank you so very much. Kindest regards.
These are next in my playbook. Used to be able to follow exercise videos that showed different styles of dancing and after a while my hips and knees gave me serious problems and I could not continue to do the dance exercise videos anymore, not good of course. So, without further ado, thanks to the help of these wonderful two gentlemen, hip exercises are upcoming and hopefully I can improve. Every single exercise Bob and Brad have ever shown has helped, every single one.
My first PT appointment was rescheduled because of a burst pipe but they said to look up stretches online so I came here haha perfect timing for this video to be released! Thanks guys
I've been doing squats and situps recently and notice (I assume) my hip flexor trying to cramp up on my left side. Hopefully this will fix it after a few days of stretching! Thanks B&B!
Your videos have been a god send for me! I had a bone marrow transplant 3 years ago and have had pneumonia 4 times since. Recovery has been hard but your beginner exercises have helped me out a lot in recovery. I’m not sure if you’re aware of something called Graft Versus Host Disease but it was constricting my skin and upper body but thanks to the light exercising I’ve regained my mobility and even some of my independence. I know you probably only expect Middle Aged and older people to watch your videos, I’m a 20 year old cancer survivor that wishes I found them much earlier!
I’m watching these videos because of the steroids from my transplant due to Graft Versus Host as well! I’m also 20. You are definitely not alone! Hope you’re doing well love! 💕
No matter which age, we all have challenges that often seem insurmountable, I have had several injuries I thought I would never bounce back from. Bob and Brad have taught me not only physical perseverance but also mental perseverance. One could argue both of those work together anyways. I wish everyone good health, I know how important it is and how much fun it is to get flexibility and strength back that I thought I would never get back. One has to say: it is very very gradual, no quick fixes by far. Some progress can take months and years, it did for me, but I never regretted it.
For Hip Flexor Stretch (at 4:47 minutes), I was watching this video near my bedside, so I carefully stood with my LEFT LEG, then placed my RIGHT KNEE up on the bed to do this stretch. It felt easy for me to repeat it, using proper balance with hands and relight knee on the bed. Then I switched to the other leg & repeated this hip flexor stretch!!
Doing some modified versions of these in PT now. Working on gait, as well, because I fall a lot. Have had a lot of hip pain, finally saw a sports medicine doctor today and I diagnosed it right: Bursitis! Hope this shot works quickly! Ha! Really trying to get healthy - should have done this years ago (I’m 70!), but life gets so busy!!! You guys are great and I get so much from your videos! Thanks a million!
Takes me a week to get down on the floor and when I get down there I've forgotten what I'm supposed to do! I'll persist though as these look really good. Thank you.
Hey, guys! Thanks so much for your help. Your videos are perfect! I would like to ask you to remind your viewers to always tighten abs when doing hip movements. I have learned that incorrect posture, even when lying on the floor can cause pain in the back.
I love your videos and this is no exception. I'd like to have diagrams of this. I'll see if you have any on your website. My hips, especially the left, are not very dependable.
I will add diagrams to our to do list! It's difficult to get everything done in a quick manner, as there is so much to do but hopefully we can get to it sooner than later :)

my hip flexors are very tight from sitting too much, I assume. Sometimes I sit on the edge of the bed with my feet flat on the floor and lay my back and head down on the bed. That stretches those hip flexors to where I can hardly stand it. If I put a pillow under my shoulders and head, I can tolerate the stretch better. It sounds like my idea is a good idea. I wasn't sure until I watched this video. I know it's an easy exercise for me (2 knee replacements) and it feels good and productive.
Been sedentary since my 18th birthday, now counting 12 years. I'm still able to walk 7 to 8 miles per day and use the stairs, but every other functional movement is undoable for me. As for the hips, flexion and extension are fine, but any subtle lateral movement (even for a millisecond) is excruciatingly painful. Most of normal people have healthy spherical hip sockets for their legs; mines are like robot joints from the 1930s, only goes in one direction (no, not the pop music band).
So should I push through if I feel my hip get stuck? Or try something else? When I do certain movements, I get gnarly charlie horses...ie, when i bend down to shave in the shower.
These exercises are so beneficial. I am so grateful Bob and Brad. You two are awesome. Thank you so very much. Kindest regards.
Thank you for watching and your kind words!!

I'm so glad you finally got a proper diagnosis. That's always a good step. Keep listening to your body and it's never too late. You go this!

How many reps/counts should be done for each exercise? These exercise look EXACTLY like what I need!!
As I am doing the first two exercises I'm getting a lot of clicking in my hip joint is that okay. I know I'm very tight and I don't have any pain
I'm not yet an older adult but sometimes my body thinks it is ..so this is great!

@@BobandBrad You guys are the best I’ve been doing a lot of stretching exercise I watched many videos my back is almost 100% thank you both

The 1st one makes my hip pop?
You guys look awesome in your workout gear! way more youthful than in those dress shirts and ties!! Hot for your 60's ............... very inspiring.

Ahhhh...just what I needed. 40 is knocking on my door and my hips know it. 😭🤣😬🥴

You sound like 60 is knocking on your door..;/
Good 👍 proverb for men by one as they're easily
😕 confused and why they, most of the time, don't even bother paying attention! 🙊😛 🎠
Sorely-needed no pun intended
these guys are hilarious
Nope! Can’t do any of that stuff. I can’t get on the floor or bend my knees. What do you have for beginner, beginner?
Isn't this sequence a bit much for beginners? I have bursitis and it's very painful, maybe I am doing it wrong.
Have you seen this video: ruclips.net/video/9hS5RLsi6Ow/видео.html
Awesome! Thanks 😊
Are you guys drunk? lol
I like hour exercises but your chat is annoying not funny
