I have struggled with closing my bindings properly for years. This is the easiest way I have ever tried! It literally took me 2 minutes. In the past I have worked for 20-30 mins to get the ends cut the right way and end up so frustrated. Thank you for such a straightforward approach that was easy to implement.

your comments on "pointing to the right" were a great mental aid for this method. It seemed like a rubix cube for me in trying to do this (and have seen others feel same). Too easy to get twisted the wrong way. Thanks for taking the time to demonstrate.

You can stack the two pieces on top of each other with right sides up and line up the two cut edges and then cut them both at the same time.

Love this, but why draw the line? You already have the ruler lined up where you want it, just grab your rotary cutter and cut. :)
I don't recall BUT maybe I did it for the folks watching the video?? Not sure.
This is a great tutorial for this ruler however the background noise is awfully distracting
