    I’ve had this little gem for several years. I just recently put it to use and I love it! I have found that a dab of fabric glue holds the edges together better than a pin. Its one of my favorite creative grid tools now! Thank you Creative Grids USA!

    This is such a great tutorial! I haven’t been so lucky with finding a step by step tutorial for the curvy log cabin trim tool though. As a beginner those step by step tutorials are the difference between making a beautiful successful block or wasting time and Money, being frustrated and upset because you just can’t get a a good block no matter how hard you try.

    Thank you for that tip about the measurement t tip for the overlap for the join. That's the part I've always struggled with in applying my binding.

    I love this way of doing the joining, much easier than how I do it and I will do it that way from now one.

    The formula is 1\4 in less then width of your binding for the over lap and you won't have any excess. In otherword if your binding is 2.5 then your overlap should be 2.25 and not 2.5.

    Almost nobody uses that method for matching up the end of the binding. There are better ways now.

      One cut, one seam. It doesn’t get any easier.

    • @dcwatashi
      @dcwatashi 3 месяца назад

      @@hoosierpreppingnurse oh it definitely gets easier than that
      I’ll never do this method of binding again since I came across an easier method that doesn’t involve twisting pinning and all that nonsense

    I always sew my binding strips the wrong way & have to rip & resew. This tool would make that impossible to do! Definitely putting on my 'wishlist'!

      I bought the tool & it is Soooo worth it. Just used it at a 2 day retreat & it made piecing & finishing my binding 1000% easier & more accurate. Also had mismeasured a couple of border strips, so needed to do some quick piecing & this tool made that a breeze.

      Hi Beverly, Krista does not actually have a pattern for the quilt behind her. It is something she said she just made up as she went along. Sorry!
