    I wanted a powerfly hardtail but was a 6 month wait so ended up getting the rail 5 instead and I absolutely love it , I ve only commuted so far as we,re in lockdown in the UK but will take it off road when allowed to

      Awesome upgrade at least, we see alot of people wanting a full suspension after buying the hardtail powerfly

      @@goodluckchrisclark are you saying people are unhappy with the powerfly and it’s components for off-road riding and trade the bike in for a rail? I’m currently waiting delivery of a powerfly any day now and am wondering if I should just jump to a rail 5 that’s actually in stock.

      How is the rail for the commute?

      @@getstrongby4038 great i ride it often and in most weather conditions and I love it , I,d hate to have to go back to a hardtail now

      @@jeffleake1960 thanks Jeff, I actually tried one yesterday morning but was only for a short ride
      Was very smooth and comfy, so I totally understand why you'd never go hardtail again, I'm very tempted!

    Thank you, I'm at the early stages of looking into getting my first e bike, I really like the Trek ones and think a Powerfly is going to be perfect for me. I'm just curious on the different between the different powerfly's 4,5,6,7 etc?

    • @goodluckchrisclark
      @goodluckchrisclark  4 года назад +4

      Part spec! Higher the number the better shifts, brakes and suspension. Relatively the motor and battery don't change too much

      I'm in the same boat. Actually thinking about selling my dirtbike to fund it, can't ride a dirtbike near where I live but mtb trails not far away. Sounds like the thing to do...

      I stupidly lost my password. I would love any help you can offer me.

    What does ‘FS’ actually stand for, is it more than just rear suspension?

    • @goodluckchrisclark

      Just Full suspension and HT is Hard tail

    Guys Can Anyone tell me the difference between the Rail and Powerfly FS? I am a weekend trail rider. Im not very technical

    • @goodluckchrisclark
      @goodluckchrisclark  3 года назад +3

      Powerfly is designed with a more comfortable geometry and smaller amount of suspension, the rail is really a hardcore trail bike and the powerfly is for more casual rides and riders

      That's a great question, I'd have to dig deeper but clearance wise I think both the fox and ohlins brand should make ones that fit
