@@IronWarrior95 i never really thought about it. There must be some equation the egg heads use that takes into account the machine weight, traction, etc. if it can drive up an incline that would be like pushing its own weight.
@@alnov91 well, I know that the numbers of the other machines have something to do with their weight.. like a 395 excavator weights 95 tonnes, or a 745 dump truck has a capacity of 45 tons. But the dozer, I don't know. Numbers from D1 to D11 are just too linear or straight forward, to have something to do with the capacities of the dozers. A D11 can push nearly the double of what a D10 can push. The numbers are just for identification of the model, that someone decided to use, nothing more I think.
Well half of it got shipped anyway. Valley must be 1 of their favorite carriers. I loaded several things there when I worked for them, on bigger trailers though.
As an excavation company who buys new equipment, it's my favorite thing to discover the shipping company that could care less about the damage they cause while tieing down the machine. Absolutely no give an f with that track dropping down from that sprocket. No f's given
Yes move this not easy.tarsand in fort-mcmurray,alberta they lots around there and when they need major overhaul is big task.the cat dealer finning put team get ready broke apart and move shop.i saw my self -40 below zero move out for repair is insane all lowbed pickup.😊
To cat. Ya need to get rid of the deaceeleration when changing from forward to reverse. It’s terrible when you are in a bad situation and you need full throttle…
Working in Carmacks YT, (sandblasting and painting the bridge) one of these was being transported to a massive fire. It took four low boys to ship this thing from Edmonton. Had an opportunity to talk to the operator, and he had said this thing is like driving a luxury car.( For 1996 standards) This video doesn't do justice for how massive this beast really is!!! And I mean, a massive beast!!! Log in the GPS, as he said, have lunch, and let this beast go!

If you live here in the lovely Buckeye state, then you would possibly know Ohio is terrible for permits. My Milling machine weighs 84,000lbs and I pull off the conveyor just to get it under 120k gross. Kindof a pain, but 30min is worth a mint in permits and hassle.
They literally make these 1/4 mile away from my house and I’ve done work in the plant. That being said why complete manufacturing of the machine if you have to tear it down to ship it?……
The strength of these machines is unbelievable. Great video!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome piece of equipment! Love operating a dozer!!! ❤❤❤❤nice job!
Thats exactly how I move my mother-in-law.
Damn dude...they say she always ends up looking like her mom...Hope that's not the case 🤣
This how we all move our mother in laws
I thought it was by Chinook helicopter 😂
🤭🤭😂😂😂
😆
You know you can just turn the camera horizontally to get a full screen
Lol I’ve worked many years on cat for cat and this is the first time I’ve not seen oil running out when the track frames removed …. Amazing 😅
What do the numbers after D refer to? My guess is tonnage of forward pushing force that the dozier can exert.
@@alnov91 no the second set of numbers is the minor series
@@alnov91 so you think it can only push 11 tonnes?? That would be very very week. More like 60+ tonnes.

What a piece of equipment. Literal Mountain Mover. 😳
Just watch K S transport D11s fully dressed out of Perth Western Australia 1000 kilometres (600 miles) up to the mines
Wow man. Incredible!
Ciao AMICO PERCHÉ LO STANNO SMONTANDO SÉ VUOI rispondere grazie ciao 👍

I saw that too
I like this job.
I would like one for Christmas, please !
Check the piggy bank...... better be a big one. 😅😅😅
That's a big beast
Good job 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Just box it up and send it UPS. The package may be a touch overweight though.
What a machine
Hope shipping goes with the price tag
Been there, hauled that, rates are so bad I'll never move em again lol. (Pilot car has a fatter bottom line...smh)
Nice truck💪💪😎
That’s badass you go men!

I'm surprised he didn't put any window or radiator protection. Kicked up rocks. Wrapping saran wrap around the chrome fron the elements and debris.
Imagine arriving to the job site in Ohio just for them to say "wait a minute, we asked for the D8, not the D11. Take that back please." 😅
Omg 😂
Технологично я думаю чтовсе првильно главное безопасно
That would be the best case scenario for the trucker because he wouldn’t have to unload any get paid to return it back to its origin.
I think I would just drive it to Ohio ! 😅
Operated a D11 out in so cal. Twin stacker.
That's a Lotta tractor
Sure is

Very good job
Wow amazing

Uma máquina gigante.
From the D10L to now D11T , loaded for shipping, complete rebuild. Any part of the Cat D11 I have worked on.
Will there ever be a D12 ????
…and I thought my BMW was heavy 😳
Wouldn't be surprised if that bulldozer is close to a million bucks
Close to $2 mil
I will have 5 at your price please

How much does it cost to move something so huge? Wow !
Isso sim é máquina. Eu já trabalhei com esse aferramenta. Eee muito gostoso. Prá trabalhar...❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤
Impresionante!!!!
Công việc vất vả ❤
I don't understand why they didn't transport it with the tracks on unless it was a weight issue but still could of gotten permits.

Awesome machine 👍
Can anyone tell me if the cat drive chain is wearing out more quickly because of the elevated sprocket?
I think the load and the hauler are reversed!😂😂

Hard to sell something if the customer can't see it complete and running...
I'm sure testing it is essential.
👏👏👍👍
Don't scratch the paint
So how weight did the dozer lose by removing the tracks and the other pieces
What kind of ship was it on ?
What's price for this baldozer please
Where here in Ohio did that go. Probably the east side of the state
Guessing southern ohio
Челябинск когда вы так научитесь?!!!
Can someone please tell me why they had to dismantle this machine???
Weight and width requirements to secure permits crossing several states.
Bye bye dozer. Have a great life in the field. Be the best you can be.
Why take tracks and track frame off ?
Weight and width requirements.
Operators are on strike there
Just a tiny dozer
Why are they removing the track?
Weight and width requirements to secure permits
Ah ok, thanx.
Just transport full dressed like we do he
We wish!
на CAT 10 снимал тележки
Another R model
Ban vertical video.

Сочувствую. Сходите к врачу.
@mjones23050, careful now!😅😅😅
