After filling the tires to the correct pressure and the light doesn't go off has nothing to do with cold temperature, rubber or air circulation. The TPMS does not communicate with the system at all times. It would wear out it's battery very quickly if it did. The sensors are motion activated and may take up to 20 minutes or 20 miles of driving before the sensor reports to the receiver/computer.
Do the 4 sensors "relocate"? What I mean is there are 4 tires and my dash tells me which of the 4 Tires is low. Driver, passenger, front, back etc... So if I moved the sensors around would the car reprogram the location?
This didn't work for me. Discount tire said it was the sender in the tire so I bought four with my next set. Still have the light. All tires at correct pressure. Dash will not go out, even after unhooking battery overnight.
Er, doesnt it show it on the dash? TPMS Low Pressure Warnings "The TPMS Telltale Warning Light will illuminate in the instrument cluster, and an audible chime will be acti vated when one or more of the four active road tire pressures are low. In addition, the EVIC will display one or more Low Pressure messages (Left Front, Left Rear, Right Front, Right Rear) for three seconds, and a graphic display of the pressure value(s) with the low tire(s) flashing"
Fill each tire to the correct PSI....If the light does not go off, the tires are most likely cold...If you drive for a few miles the light should go off when the tires get warm (providing they have they are filled to correct PSI).
Thank you I'll give that a try with checking the air pressure on my 2008 Dodge Caravan
Good luck!
Did it work?
Didn't solve my issue
I did same way which did you say ( mention) but the problem still the same !!!!!!!
That’s not resetting. That’s just putting air in your tires!

If it doesn't go off after that, can it be reset or does it have to be replaced?

You’re welcome!
Will the psi be the same if you decide to put custom wheels with larger sized tires on your vehicle?
You didn't reset anything.

There's supposed to be a reset button under the steering wheel on a 2010 jeep patriot. Where is it located?
I have the same question!!! No one can seem to help me

TPMS Low Pressure Warnings

But if the light doesn’t go off, how do we manually reset it to off.

@@beachtroll8344 and if they don't?
NOT RESETTING!
Dash light DID NOT go off
Did you add air to your vehicle’s PSI specifications?
Of course
God bless repent
