    *For a new F-150: Very nice cover, it looks awesome **do7.pl/bakCover** perfect fit and it's very easy to install. It can be done with one person (just install the center clamp on each side first) but it's a lot easier with 2 people. I did make one modification for aesthetic reasons and ease of install. There are two corrugated drain tubes that attach to the cover, extend a few feet and then are supposed to drain through two holes you drill in the plastic covers at the front of the bed, but I had no real desire to drill holes in the plastic of my new truck's bed. However, there are two holes in the sides of the beds right next to the cover drains. I took two 1/2 inch PVC elbows and some plastic tubing and made an easier, more aesthetically pleasing, drainage tubes (pictured).*

    I prefer the BakFlip MX4 instead of the g2. Recently got one for my Tundra.

    I went with the Extang Xceed for reasons of the Bakflip MX4 has poor quality and twist knob make's it harder to break into. I have not had any problems with the Xceed cover as of yet and works very well. It can also hold up to 500 lbs.

    Oh nice...the new drain tubes "hide" the mold? Kinda a stupid thing to say or reason.

    Just installed the same cover on ta '22 Frontier. I had to grind out mounting bracket slots for it to fit. It leaks at EVERY fold seam. I am certain it will not be long before the foam core is damaged by the water inside the cover. The rear corners do not cover the tail gate gaps at all so water is drawn into the rails and bed while driving - even in a light rain

    So, show proof it is the best cover? So far, only opinions.

    Wonder if they fixed the problem with water retention, on my second one and it sags in the middle.

    Can that be put on if you have a bed liner in the truck

      Thanks for the question! There should be no issue using this cover with an under the rail bed liner. In very rare cases, it might require trimming in the front top corner if the corner is more radius than squared off.

    How good does this work keeping the rain out?

    • @TotalTruckCenters
      @TotalTruckCenters  6 лет назад

      Thanks for the comment! With the design of the rail system feeding into the tubes, we haven't had any issues with rain or other elements creeping in.

      Unless it rains then freezes. Then it thaws after the cover does because its not in the sun.
