How to Fold a Fitted Sheet in Seconds!

- A step-by-step video on how to fold a fitted sheet. Learn how to master this frustrating household task of folding a fitted sheet and turning it into a folded pile of beautiful neatness. Your linen closet will thank you.
Step 1: Take your fresh-from-the-dryer sheet. Holding the fitted sheet length-wise, locate all four corners.
Step 2: Inside out your sheet and place each hand inside the corners, directly at the seams.
Step 3: Bring your right hand to your left, grab the corner and flip the right corner of the sheet over the left.
Step 4: Run your hand along the front-facing edge of the sheet. Pick up the third corner and tuck corners one and two inside.
Step 5: Find the last corner and place your hand inside, at the seams. Repeat Step 3 by bringing your right hand to your left. Grab the corner by the seam and flip.
Step 6: Adjust the fitted sheet such that all corners are tucked in to one another, lay on a flat surface and square off edges.
Step 7: Fold into halves or thirds, depending on your desired size.

Retired guy here stepping up to help: Watched a lot of videos but this was the best.I've done it two weeks in a row.
Watched 10 times. Trying to do this for king sized sheets. Ended up just shoving it in the closet the way I normally do. But hey at least I got a good arm workout out of it...
Edit: 2 years later, I still can't do this.

OK, so the most important part . . . you know, the part where it goes from a lumpy mess into what she puts on the bed . . . is OMITTED! Seriously? That's the hard part. I know full well how to put corners into corners. But what is shown is the baby steps, not the part people GOOGLE THIS FOR!

I like it how when she removed it from the basket it just magically was in the right position with the two corners. This is way more difficult than I thought.

Ha!.....after trying this half a dozen times I just did it the old fashioned way and spent the rest of my night working on my Origami skills. Waaaaaay easier

I'm the neat freak in the house. My wife just rolls everything up into balls and puts them where there's a spare space. I figured, how hard could this be. I tried a couple of other sites and only got frustrated. This woman made it look so quick and easy that I just gave up. From now on, we're going minialist--only one fitted sheet in the house that we'll pop into the washer/dryer, then it'll go right onto the bed. Much easier. I think I'll do the same thing with the dishes, too. We live at the beach and my wife's relatives spend a couple of weeks with us every year. Maybe sleeping on bare matresses and eating off paper plates and plastic (ugh) utinsils will keep them away.
Seriously it’s so frustrating
I just stuff the sheets and one of the pillow cases into the other pillow case, and toss in the cupboard or closet. :)

All these instructions are annoying because they are done with the person standing up holding the sheet in the air. Very confusing. Why can’t they lay the sheet flat and do it step by step that way? It would be MUCH easier to follow.
