30 Year Old Woman Murdered In Makeni

The family of a 30 year old woman who was allegedly murdered by unknown people in Makeni's Bonaventure area , have called on police to do a thorough investigation into her death.
CAROL MKANDAWIRE, a mother of two was last seen alive on Tuesday last week.
The victim's body was discovered 6 days later with a stab wound on the back and signs of strangulation.
A ZNBC News crew has visited the funeral house in Old Chawama.
And Ketty Mkandawire,the victims sister, says Carol, a worker at Lamasat ,had informed the family that she was going to Chirundu on Tuesday but her phones went off after a few days .
Ms Mkandawire says the family was shocked to receive a call from police to notify them of her death.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamooonga is expected to give a full report of the case, which is currently before Bonaventure police .
