Well, as I was packing up my Astrophotography rig including my iOptron Mount, Orion Refractor, DSLR eyepiece projection tube, eyepieces, calibration and ZWO tracking camera, Astroberry, Shoestring Astronomy FCUSB, Car Battery, 12v to USBC/USB Power Supply, Camera, Cords, and Laptop I decided maybe the Dwarf II would be ideal for a night like tonight. It's partly cloudy, no guarantee of a clear view of Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF. After reviewing the video of Tiago getting a successful photo of the comet with Dwarf II I figured I'll give the Dwarf II a try. I'll update the channel with my findings.

Any camera with a digital sensor has the same effect when the sensor get hot. Even with my DSLR when I take a long sequence of night photos with very long exposures will get hot. Dwarf ii uses the same sensor which will give the same issue.

Thanks Tiago. I think given the very small aperture, you cannot set too high your expectations. Certainly The Horsehead nebula and Thors Helmut are really a bit beyond this scopes intended target range but you were able to see them which is impressive. Since it appears that it tracks to compensate for the rotation of the Earth, how easy is it to set it up? I’m asking because this would be a fun scope to take on trips and speed of set up is important.
