engineer core. no extra weapons. every passive that auto goes off. weapon is rife. spells purple elxer, mine, rife turret, and ultimate turrets box. i use it in pve also. geAr is max power, crit, and crit damage. muscle memory same moves made me do good in pvp. i started gw2 3 weeks ago
Another one is the core condi necro. It's great even if you're f2p, fights on the back line, and has a surprisingly good skill curve. It's also just generally fun. It also has a good amount of condition removal and boon corruption which can counter a lot of builds. You also can live forever between numerous escape tools, your high health, and your large life force pool for shroud. Its main issues are just that without your elite your damage leaves a bit to be desired and that you're reliant on having other people on the team deal most of the damage.
This is nice because I'm a mesmer main through and through, and I have picked up untamed recently but I was really struggling trying to find a third profession that I vibe with now that I'm finally sitting down and actually getting ascension done. Hopefully one of these three builds will help me enough to just get my few wins needed and then run back to my comfy mesmer lol
When you showed trapped DH I was so happy because it's literally the only class I can use out of all 😂 too bad I'm not used to longbow but sword/focus, I'll train myself on it.
Willbender the blender is an easy to play spec imo. I am a onetrickpony holo so trying new things takes time even if I am competent at the game, but Willbender is very straightforward, even compared to DH since DH needs better positioning.
Scrapper Roam here with big dps, went 8 w 2 L in the placements after getting to Gold 5 I won another to 9 W 2 L, after that I lost 13 games in a row due fakers, which results in a lot of 0-500 losses
This show me what I see the most times in pvp, OP clases with OP skills, very hard to do something you die in a blink of an eye, also I think the team pvp program those a terrible gob at making the team, bicose you can se 3 speelbreackers in one team, the other day was 2 healer guardians in the other team and they basically are unkilable bicose one heals the other and the team to, it will be better if they put the same classes on both teams the fights will be more balance, but at the end of the day pvp is always controlled be the meta I have jumpt in ranked pvp with mi own way to play warrior with a rare and weird build and I enjoy playing sometimes, I'm not always win but I think I faund my way to play it But this is what I see in pvp, most of the time the teams are to strong or to weak, most people blame the players but the truth is that the teams are not balance and there's those classes that can kill you with low effort and skill, and in the hands of a skill player you are inmortal
true, honestly pvp has gotten quite a bit unbalanced and professions that have to work harder to make magic happen when you can get instant deleted by FA catalyst
Unfortunately rune of the trapper has been nerfed too hard to be usefull imo. So I prefer rune of the eagle to make sure that I kill anyone that falls into my traps ^^
Hey new player here, i am trying the dead eye build and my crit after stealth is maxing on 2k even on weak enemies, any suggestions as to what im doing wrong
I don't believe so as this would be very situational there. The deadeye build probably, but the Necromancer and DH would need to probably be changed a bit
in pvp have many players prepared consi cleanses and sometimes are in team some supports sooo power harb is faster and more effective because he have primary 2 condis wich are easy for cleanse :)
What are you smoking dude? Where do you see any longbow DH and any DE in ranked? Their surviveability is ass and that puts them at the hardest difficulty. It's simple, every condi build and every EoD class is eazy and overpowered.

Hobestly that sounds like a troll build I made which was straight up turrets lol it did surprisingly well actually!

That's actually a build I've tried and did incredibly well. Such a strong build!

DH is still very strong! Albeit the more mobile options by using scepter focus or even sword shield work well. Longbow is just fun lol

I remember it used to be a 3 second stealth which was god awful loool
I like rune of trapper for the purpose that going invis de-targets you, really useful in team fights.

Warrior is a great pvp profession although rage management can be a bit taxing at times. It also can be very beginner friendly

Power usually offers quicker guaranteed damage while overwhelming conditions can be cleansed pretty fast
