The most impressive thing is just how smooth all the animations appear, so he looks like a legit character if one didnt know any better. Had a lot of fun with this game, even if I have the reaction time of a rock
Yeah. The big problem with ssg goku was that there weren’t any smear lines or outlines, so it was hard to figure out what he was doing
It’s wild to me that they can take moves from all different members of the cast and I can’t tell they are stolen
you see the trick is i have 5000 hours in this game

@@TeryJones Yeah, I think Goku has a single orignal move: Penetrate!, the attack he used to kill King Piccolo. Everything else (Kamehameha, Kaioken, SSJ, ect) Where either taught to him, where suddenly handed to him, or are iterations on what was handed to him.
Goku's greatest asset appears not in making new moves, but modifying and creating interesting combinations of old ones.
It's crazy how high-quality these mods are. The same guy (RCBurrito) actually just released another character, Recoome, as a semi-alt of Nappa. He has all of Nappa's normals, but he has Recoome Kick, Eraser Gun, and even the Super Ultra Fighting Miracle Bomber. Plus his Saibamen are just Guldo.

Its incredible how they tried to make the character balanced, having strenghts and weaknesses, when the original developers released Lab Coat the way she was (and still is)

It's amazing how these characters have reused assets everywhere yet feel like completely new characters in an actual match.
i mean, even some official characters reuse assets *cough* Goku SSGSS *cough*

@@matthewcarreras1904 both Blue Goku and Blue Vegeta feel very lazy, as they reuse a lot of assets of their original counterparts
@@Bielzin._. Blue Goku doesn't feel lazy in my opinion. He only has 9 reused assets and all of them are normals. He's generally considered by the community to have one of the best crafted movesets.
@@matthewcarreras1904 What about Goku's Blue LvL 3? it reuses the animations of super kamehameha, two normals , dragon rush ,charge ki and dragon flash fist.

I’m fairly certain his standing medium/5M is based on Android 18’s 5LLL (last auto combo hit), the distinction that gives it away is the hand movement that the SSG Goku mod doesn’t have. Considering his 2M is taken from her it’s not too unlikely
It could also be second hit of Android 17 light auto combo
And also i don’t know if you noticed his hand is in a fist like the Android 17 auto combo while the Android 18 auto combo her hands aren’t in a fist there kinda flat wit her knuckles extended

@@MoldyBagel monster hunter music is a good choice, but usually indie game music (like hollow knight) and visually pleasing games (from thatgamecompany) have great options
I think Zarbon would be a cool addition with his monster form as an install that makes him more of a grappler.
I like how he’s a hybrid of Blue goku and piccolo, which is pretty thematic all things considered 😊

I like how his moveset can be justified as just being a hodgepodge of everyone else's because he had three seconds of screen time, and thus no frame of reference for what his moves would actually be. Another win for Dragon Ball's favorite son.

I really excited for the future for this game. Especially since the fact the modder of beast Gohan made a playable Racome while this video was being made
you know i think the two biggest things that make mods very clearly fan made is that a lot of them have a lack of shading and smear frames, seeing this with his own unique moveset and all the visual polish of an offical character is promising however
The presentation is fine (aside from lvl 3) but the concept of the character is kinda wack and makes him a lot weaker than base game.
The light grenade definitely seems inspired from Kokonoes drive, in how it pulls them in
Perhaps also lambda and nus gravity seed
Top editing and this is by far the best mod I have seen for DBFZ. No doubt. Also the part in 2:49 made me laugh lol

these are really so cool, and the editing is fantastic as always. Really appreciate u bringing attention to these mods that clearly have a lot of thought put into how to approach gameplay. I hope the modding scene continues to be strong, and maybe one day hit levels of crazy customization like with MVC3. Certainly is nice to think about someone doing something rlly unique with raditz at least lol

like the one where your friend at the playground says "hey have you unlocked beast gohan yet" and you have this whole discussion about some insane method to unlock him
you think there's no way it works then go home for the day, try it, and you actually get him

It’s nice knowing that we have these mods to temporarily keep our attention until rollback arrives (which has to be like next month)
The Monster Hunter music was a great choice for this. I just got into Rise last month and this really gets me hyoed to experience the other games too lol. Also this video was really good, ik you hear this alot but youre probably one of my favorite youtubers. Youre editing and humor get me everytime and really puts a smile on my face.

If you didn’t know, Adult Gohan Machine Gun Punch Has a Hold Feature Letting him get 9 hit’s instead of 4. This goes For the Beast Gohan Mod, Holding the stand light gives him 3 extra hits.

Wish we could get future gohan with 1 arm as a character imo hes the coolest gohan and it would be really cool to implemente things like his grab and a beam that he can charge during a combo wich changes properties (similar to zero buster from the mvc series)
