I use the SG through the 5e3 for jazz. Nothing beats a good SG.

The angle of you thumb has Wes perfectly. If you want to imitate his right hand even more then you should try to rest your picking hand's fingers on the pick guard. You really are much, much better than most pros at this sound. I also see you are developing the double thumb tech. Dope stuff Etjenne! You remind me of a friend of mine. But, I think you might be French and a much better guitarist! I love checking this stuff out by you. I can't wait to see your progress over the next few years. You should have an awesome Prog Rock style or something

Hi Robert ! Thanks a lot for those kind words. Really appreciate it. I'm not really a thumb player at all, but since I was trying to show out a jazz tone, I played a blues Wes's style! Should put more work into that technique for sure. Yes I'm a french canadian from Montreal ! haha And I guess that's the kind of sound I'm going for. A mix of jazz and more rock/blues elements !

The SG is a very versatile instrument. But jazz… has a lot of sounds.
