    Thank you for your helpful video.After purchasing 3 Transducers and still no mist but seeing the transducer was bubbling I bought the fan unit and installed it after watching your video and I now have mist.

    Thank you for guiding me to replacing the transducer for the 3rd time over years . This time it didn’t help so using your second video managed to change the fan & bingo, back in action . Really helpful & gave me confidence to do this without calling Dimplex out.

    Thanks so much for your assistance. My mist had stopped working and I thought the fire was broken and would have to be totally replaced - not cheap! Your videos showed me how to clean it and replace the transducer so now back up and working. The video about the fan was also great so I know what should that fail. 10/10 for your videos.

    A really helpful set of videos, thank you. I'm in the process of deciding whether to buy an optimyst fire, so seeing how to maintain it is really useful and will save on engineer fees.

    Thank you so much for your video! We’d already tried replacing the transducer to no avail. We were worried the fire was completely broken and would have to replace it. We then saw your video and decided to try replacing the fan. Your video gave us the confidence to know how to remove the old one and install the new one and thank goodness, it now works!

    Thank you for your video, far more useful than the dimplex manual or anything else about dimplex!

    After coughing up £50 to dimplex for a new transducer after two years the new one failed and still no good after cleaning so fitted a cheap generic 24v transducer unit meant for making Christmas decorations at a price of £12 it sits along side the original position as it is slightly larger but works a treat.

    Yes, it turns in. The fire us working. I can also see the new fan is working. It clicks on and I can see the bubbles in the water reservoir. All 4 lights are working

    Is it ok to have the heater turned on but to have the water tank empty and not bother with the smoke? Or can this damage the fire? Thanks!

    • @LivinganOrganisedLife
      @LivinganOrganisedLife  10 месяцев назад

      I’m sorry but I don’t know the answer to your question. There is nothing in my manual about using the heater and no flame effect. Whilst this is possible I don’t think it’s recommended, sorry.

      That’s annoying it’s not working. I would suggest replacing the transducer disc first,if that doesn’t work replace the whole transducer unit. I really hope it resolves the problem

    High I have a Dimples Danville DNV20AB I recently had a new mother board put in. I have just had to replace the transducer and fan. Transducer is working (creating steam) but the fan is not.
    I don’t know if I have received a faulty one. My question is is there anyway I can test the fan to see if it’s faulty? or could it be something in the fire?

    • @LivinganOrganisedLife
      @LivinganOrganisedLife  9 месяцев назад +1

      When you turn the fire on can you feel a slight vibration from the fan? Have you double checked it’s connected properly?

    Hi I have this problem with this Dimplex fire, where it cuts out after 30 seconds of trying to start up, no mist comes out. Did yours do this too when no mist was being produced? Or would it stay turned on? Thanks.

    • @LivinganOrganisedLife
      @LivinganOrganisedLife  Год назад

      No mine didn’t cut out. You could try replacing the transducer and fan (I have made videos about both) but it might be something else. Is your fire under warranty?

    • @11payneii11
      @11payneii11 Год назад

      @@LivinganOrganisedLife it’s out of warranty unfortunately. I took it somewhere to try repair it, replaced the pcb and heater assembly which both didn’t work, but I’ll try the transducer and fan using your videos and see how that pans out - thanks!
