Just fitted a set of the mud seat risers , what an absolute pain in the arse one bolt gave me trying to get it out . 10 minutes to fit the rails but an hour taken up with one bolt that didn't want to play the game.
Do you plan to fit a Slickshift kit to this Defender? At £102 it would add a bit to the cost and isn't essential, but it's far cheaper than the Puma version and based on the kit I have it my Disco 1 I'd expect it to be well worth the money.
@@LRLiveUK I have one in my Series III (standard gearbox) and it is far superior. I actually did a back-to-back with a new standard gear lever to see which one I preferred. I'm not sure it's entirely necessary with a Defender though, as they already have quite a nice gear change.
Some great suggestions - good little projects for anyone getting into tinkering with Land Rovers to have a go at too!
Keen to see if those door catches work. keep us posted on how good they are
I’ve not got a Defender, but enjoy the videos. Good stuff.

Let’s hope the pain was worth it in the end!

Makes a great upgrade to the defender , a much shorter push between gears ! Well worth the money !
