That Honda was a teardown for sure. 4 pistons in a block was the only thing left. Hope you have a great weekend and thank you Kevin for posting your videos. Regards from Sweden.
You are a damn fine mechanic, sir. A true grafter and an inspiration. I found your channel looking for a video on replacing a Kangoo II clutch you posted nearly a year ago as I was sure there was a way of removing the box without dropping the whole subframe (I had a very limited time job) I'd been working for a garage for some 10 years, on a salary that barely pays the bills, and I've always dreamed of setting up by myself. You have inspired me to make this a reality and I am now up and running out of my own van in the South East and loving life more than I ever have. Keep it up mate, loving your content!
Thanks for sharing. Quite a big step going on your own. But very liberating I found. I’ve been at it for nearly 15 years now. And never once have I missed the 4 walls of a workshop. All the best in your new endeavour. If ever I may be of some assistance don’t hesitate to reach out.
Wow,kev, you REALLY earned your money on the blue honda,,boy was that one hek of a strip down and rebuild, total credit to bud ,absolutely superb work as allways, well done bud
My dear man, the Honda was a lot of work. Everything has to be removed to get to the clutch. You really are a first class mechanic. You really work very hard for your money. And your videos are just super informative. Thank you for sharing. 👍👌😁 I hope you have your 100,000 subscribers soon, or even more 😁
hi I have advertised you in a couple of motoring groups as a couple wanted a clutch doing I hope that is ok with you hope you had a good week thanks for the video
Kev thank you for your help I recomendet Kev clutch servis, bekouse Kev doo two my cars and always Kev doo perfect and professional job, always help!!! Problem with clutch? Only call for this guy!!! Thank mate again 🍻
Solid work on both those cars mate! Definitely a hard worker! I’m curious what type of jacket that is you’re wearing while doing the Honda? I do a fair bit of mobile mechanical work and it looks like a decent jacket.
We have the same toolbox ..but mines blue...its quite well travelled, from peugeot 206 clutch in Brighton marina years ago...too tipping over and smashing draws up on a mountain track in Spain on route to some of the weecs i have to fix there now...just less rain😂
I have a honda accord just like that one Now I know that I'd rather shit in my hands and clap than doing a clutch service on that car. Awesome job by the way
Mint just the man! Kev can so ask your experience about a 1.2 panda 2007. Using your videos we changed the clutch but I removed the left/right bracket from the gearbox and now it won’t go into 5th/reverse. Some forms reckon It’s mis-aligned under the top plate as the form has to be in the middle! Any ideas would be much appreciated! 🤙🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
No probs at all. If you can take a photo as it stands now. And WhatsApp it over and I’ll have a better idea of current alignment v/s correct one. Be easier for comms on there also.
Is this a normal thing in the UK ? Nobody would do this in the US especially in the northeast every bolt would snap off and cv shafts seized in the hubs etc would almost be impossible. Watching every bolt come out easy is like a fairy tail here in Maine lol
I suppose if I was operating your side of the world .. I’d cater for these inconveniences… maybe price up new fixings in the job … it’s quite a moderate sized industry here mobile mechanics. Myself I’ve been going for nearly 15 years now .. I take it you’re a repair shop owner ..?

It’s a proper all weather one. A canvas woven material. Military grade Russian Gorka 4 bars.

Whats your worst weather job? Or the coldest, anything like minus 10c or do you have standards for that (no work after -5c) for example? Cheers :)
I’ve never stopped for any weather so far ..
Big respect :) Love your work ethic!@@WMCS

@@WMCS yes very few mobile mechanics here can barely find mechanics willing to work in a heated building lol
👏👏
wow , This Honda is a nightmare ! the engineers really messed up. awesome job!
Same with the Alfa Romeo 159, whole frame off to get the box out.
🤝✊👍

🙋🏾♂️🙋🏾♂️🙋🏾♂️
Dear Kev, i hava a question, hope u can answer it, or someone. which is your milwaukee impact driver?
thanks!
M12 Fuel ratchet.
M18 High torque (one Key) impact Gun.
Hey, you do one clutch per day? Or could you do 2? Thanks. Keep up the good work 👌
I used to do two in a regular. ..,I’ve even done 3.
Just one nowadays. I’ve been at it for nearly 15 years.
I Started quite young
Ice man®😎
Why don't you wear safety glasses under the car?
Never had a need for it really .. might do one day
It must frustrate u when u get to a job and its either not a clutch problem or the ground is soft etc.
It’s is a bit .. as we try and be clear in that aspect .. but I don’t take it personal …
Have a great weekend Lee.. really the support 🍻🍻🍻🍻
