OMG we went to Bistro N.A. today for lunch! Everything was soooooo good. We already booked our return for the Peking Duck. We had the shrimp, bean curd skin salad, pea leaves with mushroom, scallion pockets, and some desert! The only dish that was not perfect was the fish with noodles. Thank you!
I love Shiki Buffet the best here in San Gabriel Valley Area. My number one choice for eating out. We also visit the Westfield Mall and get teriyaki chicken from Sarku, haha. For takeout, I also like Sam Woo, especially their Cantonese barbecued pork char siu, and Cantonese roasted ducks and soy sauce chickens and egg waffles. I was born in Guangzhou, the birthplace of Cantonese culture, cuisine and language, so I can’t live without Cantonese cuisine such as dim sum and wonton noodles soup, hahah
I just came back from the Chinese food scene in Manhatan NYC, Flushing NY and Boston. The 626/OC is better, IMHO...and you can actually find parking in Cali, the North East sucks in this resepect.
I was born in Guangzhou, raised in Boston and have relatives in NYC so I went to NYC many times growing up in Boston, and now live exactly in San Gabriel Valley Area. Definitely more variety of Chinese regional culinary styles here, and it’s cheaper than in Boston and NYC as well 😂.
SGV Chinese food is the thing I miss most about living in LA area. I'm so jealous watching you eat all this amazing food!

Oh I forgot to mention, beautiful place and BEST music. A total experience
Wow Chinese food is my all time favorite ❤❤
Mandarin Noodle is the best. Their beef noodle soup is like no other. My family has been going there for beef noodle soup for over 40 years

My favourite rice roll is the shrimp too but, I prefer the fried roll. I can’t seem to find anywhere that still has it.
Cantonese is my absolute favorite
So good
I know as this Mandarin food doesn't look appealing.

The Xiang la hui's foods looks spicy and you didn't ask a glass of water or drinks when you both eat.
