- Hi everyone, we bought an Eriba Caravan #EribaFamilia so that Eleanor and I can go on adventures together! I had to tow it from the Lake District with my little VW Polo. Hope you like the video and thank you all for your lovely comments and support. Rachel and Eleanor x

@@UniqueFam i know BUT its also times like this you ‘ grow’ , you dont need no man youre more capable than you believe, youre just nervous because its the unknown, tell ellie how you feel and hopefully she will step up and you can work together. Imagine how incredible you will feel when you get where youre going, youve set up and youve no man talking to u like crap , this is your time! Its only feeling strange because its new, best way to deal with anxiety is think of the fun you will have and your body will chemically change your anxious feelings to excitement… your head is in control , your body responds accordingly. So you set off on this exciting new adventure, you can enjoy the sun and freedom and the achievement youll feel when you get home will be amazing. Nothing will go wrong it will only go brilliantly! Look how much your lifes changed this last year , this is nothing to fear this is an exciting new chapter xxx
Ps dont thing of the whole picture, break the journey up,write as many lists as you can and dont rush , just take it all nice and slow and enjoy your thelma and louise adventure & make it fun, nothing will go wrong. Whats worst than can happen? You have to sleep in car? Thats hardly end of the world rach , honestly “ youve got this!!!!!” Xxx

Absolutely love your new caravan Rachel and Eleanor. My friend bought a tourer when our kids were in their young teenage years and we went to Inveraray in Scotland every weekend. There were two adults and 3 teenagers and we loved it.. There is plenty of space in your new van for you and Eleanor to be comfy. What great condition it is in too, whoever owned it took great care of it obviously. I just know that you will love caravan life, its a great feeling being able to pack up and just go somewhere nice for the weekend. Just buy your shopping and go.......I wish you all the love and luck in the world with your new venture, you will love it!!! xxx Also don't worry too much about not knowing what to do when you get there, caravanners are very helpful people, someone with show you the ropes xx
Thanks Ann, there's a lot to learn, been watching a few youtube videos and trying to read the manual (waste if time, did not go in at all!) Yes you're right people are friendly and will probably take pity on me and help if I get stuck lol, xx

Lucky lady. I hope you and Eleanor enjoy your Happy Camping. You both deserve good, happy times. Ime only jealous, I can't drive to start with and wouldn't know we're to start with it. Its very nice. There are some great RUclips channels about caravaning and we're to stay and what to do etc. It's nice to see you both so happy and healthy. Take Care. Glad you are both better. We're I live in Nottinghamshire a very small hamlet. There are loads come down with covid now. Even though they have been vaccinated. A few in the first lock down but now they have had to shut 1 of the 3 village pubs. Take Care. xxx

@@UniqueFam it's not the size, it's having that little getaway whenever you need to, just hook up and go ,you will get used to it, the awning helps, but it's the memories you make that matters , hope you have many more trips X ❤

Great fun ahead with the caravan we have a camper van and its great fun getting away from everything at anytime so hope you enjoy and have fun using it. Maybe see you on some campsite !! You will be able to tow it no bother so get there and get fun. (I like the comment about becoming travellers) !!

You need to use 2 hands as there is a little lip on both sides of the blind so when you pull it down you push both sides in to secure it. Try not to let it retract on it's own as the springs break really easy and are a pain to replace

@@UniqueFam your welcome. Dont forget your gas bottle for your cooker top and your water carrier. Oh and you will need a ehu (electric hook up cable ) unless you have a leisure battery.

Yes I thought there would be a shower but no sign if one! Not that we would use it, I would rather use the facilities on the camp site x
Strange, but yes it doesn’t matter if you would rather use on site facilities. Your going to love it! We have a touring caravan and we are off for a few days tomorrow :) wishing you all the luck and will be looking forward to an update on your travels xx

Have you both had negative PCR tests to say your covid free now?
No track and trace didn't advise to do them, as long as no temperature or sickness you can go out after 10 days x
