My ex husband was so controlling and kept saying I couldn’t manage without him and he convinced me of that. Five years on I’m happy with my two cats- a good swop I think! Mia is just so beautiful and getting so big already. Turning 50 is not so bad it is a start of a "New Life" for you and Eleanor together and I do hope that you keep the caravan as you will get so much fun once you start getting out with it but you are doing the right thing in just going somewhere near home just so you can get the feel of things and we have been doing motorhome/campervan for some 10 years now and we still forget things to take with us. Our worst thing at the moment is getting onto our pitch and finding no tv signal and I do read but its nice to see tv at the same time so thinking we need to get satellite . Take care x

I’m 56 and I started to have Botox and fillers over the last year, it has really made me feel better about myself, I don’t drink or smoke so it’s my little treat,. I don’t have heavy Botox as I still want to be able to have some expression on my face 😆, I have fillers just in my frown lines and forehead, it’s not too expensive, but I think it all depends on where about in the country you live.

Do what ever makes you feel good , if you want to get Botox or fillers do it . I like having beauty treatments, I just got my eyebrows done and it makes such a difference, I would try fillers , I’m not sure about Botox . I take care of my skin and hair . Just do things for yourself now , you deserve it .❤️
I was the same Rachel, it sounded so old especially when someone said to me im half a century, but im 53 in August and ive had a good time overall, except the odd health scares with myself and others around me, But I realise that some arent afforded the luxury of growing old, Wendie was the best and I miss her every day and think about her a lot , also can I just say your skin is flawless so why do you feel that you need fillers ? youre beautiful as you are xMia is beautiful too

You're probably not going to like this, it won't cheer you up. I'm 60 on my next birthday. I have heart failure. You begin to feel your own mortality. Take stock of your life. It's sad in a way, your great life adventures are over (and yes, I know there are guys doing 'mud runs' and iron man competitions in there 90s?). You have to focus on 'staying alive' and not pushing bounderies. No more dreaming about living on a desert island, or remote cottage by the sea. Unless there's full medical support close by? Pretty dreary really?
