@@omt4293 definitely but bro the Knicks are definitely Making Waves right now with Jalen Brunson... I just hope the Knicks don't screw him over because I can picture him leaving for Phoenix after Chris Paul leaves
This intro has to come back for this years' playoffs. This current knicks team gives me 90s vibes, with hard-playing and gritty guys like Josh Hart, Randle, Brunson, RJ and Quickley
30th anniversary of the 94 team... can we please bring this back for the playoffs!?! You'd need a few new roofs for MSG of course, as the 20 or so thousand fans would likely blow the current roof off when this hits the P.A
Terry E. Rucks - I'm a Knicks fan. And as much as I loved the Knicks intro, I also loved the Bulls intro as well. I was overseas when the Knicks and Bulls played each other during the 1993 EC Finals. A few Knicks fans as we were from NY were sitting with Bulls fans from Chicago watching this series. My buddies from Chi-Town had the bragging rights of course, but we had such mutual respect for each other. And overall, we had fun. It was an excellent rivalry although I will definitely concede it was a bit one sided in the Bulls favor. But I still admired the Knicks. Excellent post!
Please for the love of God MSG bring back this for the player intros. Reminiscing to Ewing and Starks and Oakley coming out after this makes me want to run through a wall.
Bro.. I will actually cry with pride. When I tell you that no championship win will EVER EVER come close to when The Knicks finally win their 3rd. That shit will shake the earth.
I really love this "New York Knicks Intro Theme" music of 1994. It's totally groovy & I love hearing the words GO NEW YORK GO NEW YORK GO in the song! With Marv Albert there calling the Knicks Games on MSG & NBC, absolutely marvelous! Great Knicks Memories!
Panache. Class. Jazz. Rock Guitar. Hip Hop. This is PERFECT sports music for the NY Knicks. In a sort of way, it reminds me of a spruced-up version of Chuck Mangione's "Give it All You Got"
How we in NYC yeeeearn for the knicks to win a championship one day ! And if it ever happens play this old 1990s Atlantic division champion knicks anthem ! I remember this awesome intro being played in the garden at the start of every game. And the pride of being New Yorkers !

The Knicks need new ownership, BADLY. It's time to create a new image....a team that's committed to winning games, and bringing a NBA title to New York.

if the Knicks finally get back to the playoff this year, we should have played this theme. Imagine this: at froward 6-8 from Kentucky, Number 30, Julius Randleeee! it will be amazing!!! Go NY go NY go!

@JLikesit The actual teams have been pretty uninspiring since this intro was last used! This brings such great memories! Ewing, Starks, Oak, X-man, Mase & later Houston & Sprewell. Those Riley yrs were awesome though!
I would like to hear the other intro/tip off songs used during the 90's Knicks era, especially the one from the previous '92-'93 season. If Mr. Kalehoff ever sees this message and can please let us know if these are still in existence.
@MrKnickslover lol nice lol nice intro entering the hotel room having the knick announcer saying AND NOW PLEASE WELCOME YOUR BRIDE AND GROOM !! That;s real knick pride right there.
